@Kaloudz id personally love an event horizon mod.....but surely bethesda put a haunted ship in starfield somewhere ,surely they've not missed that opportunity.

How many potatoes would it take to break the game? I use to fill rooms in skyrim with jewels,until I reached 2fps

@Kaloudz I should think the nostromo, would be one of the easier movie ships to recreate, with the in game ship builder,I dont understand it myself at the minute, do you find the parts yourself,or do you have to buy them from different vendors.

@Dsswoosh ign gave days gone a 6 ,and forza 5 a 10 ,you can't cherry pick low scoring xbox reviews to prove a point,they gave starfield a 7 and the points they made about the game are valid ones, I know you're probably miffed it didn't get a 10 ,but it doesn't deserve a 10,its a very solid 8,and if you love this type of game,it'll probably be a 10,anyway a 7 is fine if you're a fan of the genre of game,I mean like I said days gone is a 6 according to ign,id give it a solid 8,I loved it ,doesnt mean I think they got paid off by microsoft, just enjoy the exclusive game bethesda gave you,its great, who knows how long its gonna be ,before xbox releases another decent title.

@Dsswoosh even though its on xbox ? I hated deathloop it was crap ,but not as crap as redfall ,thats a different league of crap ,and it received crap scores from everyone who reviewed,because guess what,it was crap

@Dsswoosh they all buy exclusive content ,there's a ton of exclusive games on game pass ,nintendo did it with bayonetta as well as others,you just think Sony is the big bad ,because you prefer xbox ,youre gonna be very upset at Sony ,with there response to the Activision deal,and there will be a response,i suppose you think Sony had a hand in redfall being hot garbage as well.

@Jenkinss apparently you can fly from planet to planet in the same system,its gonna take you hours upon hours though,so quite pointless.

@Kienda I agree,similar to ragnarok and the bridges ,you know its a loading screen but at least the interaction is still there

@PsBoxSwitchOwner well yeah choices are always better ,maybe they tried and couldn't pull it off,and to be fair it is boring ,space is the same as the planets as in its a contained area with stuff in it ,I mean it does look possible to actually fly to a planet ,I started to do it ,but the distance marker was moving that slow I just gave up and fast travelled,because I wanted to get back in the game.

@SacredPYRO I agree a space buggy would be cool ,couldve had a planet dedicated to races ,missed opportunity i think, but thats what mods are for

I feel its needed ,especially in the later stages of the game ,the gamespace is massive ,believe me flying from one planet to the next in a solar system would soon get old ,its an arcade space rpg ,not a sim,if you want that play elite ,the begining of elite is so tedious ,and the learning curve is quite steep,players would soon get fed up of crashing into every planet believe me,or maybe they shouldve taken the no mans sky route with planetary take offs ,thats great in the begining ,but it wanes after a while ,and your just fast traveling to planets anyway,I think as the weeks and months move on and more of the game opens up for players ,I think they will change their minds,and realise bethesda made the right decision,if you want exploration the choice Is there, i spent 20 min walking to a cave ,there was hardly anything in there,but that's the beauty of bethesdas games ,sometimes there is.

@Isca ah an elite mention ,played it originally on the spectrum or maybe it was the amiga cant remember,im a big fan of elite dangerous and while starfield isn't as complex ,it has that same sense of wonder, I spent an hour on the moon, because you know its the moon and I'm never gonna go there,I seem to have seen a lot of reviews stating the flying was off,I dont personally think so ,but I can manually dock a cobra with my eyes closed 😁

Been playing some more ,and the lip sync doesn't get enough credit ,its very good, best ive seen for a long time ,shame minor npcs look like melted barbie dolls.

@Darylb88 that depends, third party yes ,pretty much the same ,but first party,series x cant compete with those speeds.

@Darylb88 think how great it could have been on the X ,if that shoebox didn't hold it back ,loading times for one couldve been improved.

I do and I dont,mods are great,but I seem to spend more time messing about with them than actually playing the game,but I want someone to make an xwing or millennium falcon

@Darude84 have you played elite or no mans sky ,I found playing those games helped me a lot,there's been complaints that the ship handling is difficult ,I found it easy to be fair ,but if you can land on a planet in elite dangerous or manually Dock at a space station ,you will have no issues 😁 starfield borrows a lot from those two games ,from the mining and scanning of no mans sky ,to the ship power distribution of elite.

@Moonglow I to took over an hour making my character,and then in game he looks like he has some severe mental deficiency😂 but the games great, the star map seems a bit janky,im sure ill get use to it, those loads screens are numerous and more optimization is needed on that front ,the npcs look like your typical bethesda npcs,dead inside,I played for about 4hrs and I'm knackered this morning,the games scale is astounding ,im a ps player mainly,so I'll be honest ,this is the best xbox exclusive game for years and its what they needed,cant wait to play more ,my first impression of the game was excellent.

@StonyKL but those reviewers should have more integrity and review the game on its own merits,it wasn't the devs that worked so hard on the game for so many years that didn't give them a review copy
