Little Witch in the Woods and Slime Rancher 2 don't even have achievements. Those are the two I was actually interested in because I've played and finished everything except Dreamscaper and Moonscars. Action roguelike and soulslike metroidvania, both I had already tried and genres I want nothing to do with lol
I think Dreamscaper might have a few easy ones at least though.
This project is getting teased a lot and I just have this feeling it is going to be some avant-garde art piece that isn't really fun to play but maybe innovates game design. I have very low expectations though, so maybe it will be a pleasant surprise.
@BrilliantBill Stuff came out recently about how much Sony relies on CoD to fund their first party exclusives, that's their main concern with losing CoD. That will also be true for MS once this goes through. You might see it as only profit for MS, but even if they are selling it more on PS, or Switch, it will stabilize their gaming revenue flow, and subsidize their other projects and game pass. I think in that way it can be good for the platform as a whole, just like it is for Sony.
The loop got under my skin. I loved it. Putting the pieces together was so addictive. Great characters, great writing, great music, amazing world building. I think the best part was that it didn't overstay its welcome, once you finish the loop that's it, unlike many games that needlessly attach an open world filled with copy paste trash (Hogwarts Creed I'm looking at you).
I would love it if this came to game pass. As a huge Obsidian fan I had been highly anticipating this game and hearing it was launching day one on game pass is when I realized I'd probably never unsubscribe.
Outer Worlds is also the reason I got the SX on launch haha. By the end, cleaning up side quests, I was traveling back and forth and just hating my xbone S taking nearly 2 mins to load on every single fast travel. It was brutal. I never did go back to play the dlc, I usually have moved on and don't jump back in to games I've already finished, but a complete edition optimized for SX might get me to replay it.
welp, I guess I'm playing this next month if at all. I don't have a lot of data left this month, and it wants a 67 gb update and it was already frustrating to deal with the controls and voice acting. I'm honestly not sure if I'll even update it at this point as Wo Long is coming on the 3rd. I was really excited for this one, it looked wild and the intro seemed to build a cool setting, but like the main character who seems like he just can't be bothered with anything, I'm not sure if I'm gonna bother with this one again either.
@abe_hikura yeah poorly explained, but I figured it out. It is sort of weird how much RB is used in this game for basic interactions. Most games it's the special ability button you rarely have to use.
The one thing I can't figure out yet is how to switch between different levels of the medkit thing, other than using them from the weapon wheel. I have medium and small, and I can see arrows on either side, but I can't figure out how to switch back to the small ones.
@Deadeye13 yeah it helps that I don't understand it all, but it also just seems to be a little less monotone, maybe they're related I don't know. The English voice actor just has no inflection at all. He doesn't seem to feel anything he's saying.
@A01 The Russian is better, but the problem for me is that the subtitles are very small and can't be enlarged. There's a lot going on and I don't really want to be reading constantly while amazing things are happening on screen.
But the English voice actor is really bad. And he seems so angry at his glove for some weird reason. Tonally I just don't understand his personality. The world seems like it might be interesting enough to stick with it though, for me at least.
The other weird thing I noticed is that the strafe is SO slow. You can barely move if you start going sideways at all.
I actually really liked Recore. Kind of like Hi Fi Rush, it just felt very video gamey in a good way. It just didn't feel like a finished product, but it was fun and had some creative elements that could definitely be fleshed out in a sequel.
@Nintendo4Sonic because every game that is on Game Pass can also be purchased on Xbox, but not every game that is on Xbox is also on Game Pass. It's that simple.

Re: Surprisingly, There Are 'No Current Plans' For Hogwarts Legacy DLC
IMO it already overstayed its welcome. The open world is just brutal. The castle is its saving grace but you're barely in it.
