End of an era, yes.... But sorry I started with the "fat" old Black xbox. And believe me , it was really a game changer, compare to PS2. My first contact with xbox 360? Buy day one + perfect dark = my console broke down after... less than 2 hours !! I know first hand those red rings of Death. But I came back and really we had good EXCLUSIVE games on this console. Sure Sony has more machines with PS5 than microsoft.. but I'm sorry , most of the innovative / new licence ARE on xbox serie S/X.... The end of an era of competition between those two brands ....
The first xbox was incredible (I had this console day one...). of course the xbox 360 had a very "rich" database of good games. Sadly....sadly the first X360 were sh** ! Red ring of death for me. I had to wait for the slim version in order to have a "stable" console.

@Tharsman The rest of the collection of this vol 1 will play at 1080p (it was 720p with the xbox 360 HD collection). If I remember well (I live in Europe...) there was a code in order to download ... MGS 1 (the PSX version..). Of course, I bought the US 360 version but I couldn't get the download code working for an European account... Konami is really now a "shabby" company... Too bad, but I guess it's"life" : you grew , flourish and then.... disappear, forgotten....
oh... I remember my 360 , like yesterday. I bought it , DAY ONE, (brand new of course...) with.... Drum sound ....: Perfect Dark zero . I played 1 hour and 4 minutes (not 1 minute more ....) and.... RED RING OF DEATH.... I was raging like a maniac at that time !!
46 hours. it's a good 7 /10. You don't get the "wow!" effect anymore, since it's a mixture with The outer world / no man sky... Space fighting is pretty bad (it's not chorus ), the Interface is really bad and the romance is "meh".. BUT... you play a Bethesda game for the story of course. I enjoy the side quests !! The big plus with this game, ON XBOX serie X : no freeze or big bugs ! Alleluia ! Bethesda is getting better with day one release. I know it's not the case with the PC version. A classic A RPG from bethesda but in space. If you liked Fallout, skyrim ,etc; this game is a good one for you.

I like GOG for PC too : you can back up your games and you can MOD your games (= fix your games because developers are too lazy to fix them !!). Worst ! : those studios are ready to sell roughly at 100 euros "special - premium - edition" to consumer for... an unfinished game. They have no shame !
