Had really high hopes but refunded it after playing. Found it very janky and seemed like a lot of work to get any kind of flow like the trailers show (vs say the Tony Hawk demo where flow is just immediate). May give it another look on sale in the future
@Cikajovazmaj sums up exactly how I feel. Dualsense and the feel you get in GT is just miles ahead. I do enjoy the sense of speed you get but just feels like I'm driving on ice most of the time. Gave up and uninstalled and will stick to GT I think for my serious racing, and FH5 for when I want to chill
@Cherip-the-Ripper I'm getting there with the changes to gameplay, but agree that the rb + lb change is a nightmare if you used the rb driven pass a lot, feels like a pain to get used to after years of muscle memory
Apart from prince of Persia and maybe Sonic I don't think there's a single other game there that I'd pay for. What a waste of time! Felt the same after Sonys showcase. Hopefully MS can sort it out
So happy this is coming out finally. I've had some great times playing this on PC but just so much easier on Xbox. Seems like an ideal gameness title too - wouldn't be surprised if that's where it ends up releasing
@somnambulance thanks - may pick it up. Windjammers is great fun but I’ve not played anything with the flow that I got from table tennis back in the day!
@AlienigenX I found it to be really accessible when I played it on PC, I'm not a sim player in any meaningful way, but it's so easy to just fly around anywhere you want (literally). All the talk is of the ground scenery (understandably) but the clouds and lighting are truly remarkable, just cruising around with some decent music on is seriously amazing, with no technical knowledge needed. I just sold my XSX for a PS5 Digital + XSS combo, but this and FH5 are the 2 games that could get me switching back in the near future.

Re: Talking Point: Which Backwards Compatible Xbox Games Still Hold Up In 2024?
@AlienigenX Driver San Francisco is superb. There's quite a decent modding scene on PC for it.
For me it has to be Rockstar Table Tennis - an absolute gem of a game when you get a rally going and still looks good

Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Summer Game Fest 2023 Showcase?
@OrfeasDourvas agreed. I thought the whole point of this was big surprises and premieres. So disappointing

@Carck it dropped so quickly last year, I'm sure it was down to £25 in November
