Nexbox can play pc games from steam, gog, epic, etc. So theoretically they're gonna play ps pc ports. Sony is like fcuk that. We'll build our own pc store(..with hookers and slots!) and not allow it to run on the nexbox.

Why buy the next gen xbox version when you can buy the cheaper, better pc version? Why develop for xbox next gen when your game on pc will reach them? The nexbox pr has a real uphill battle trying to make this marketable.

No. The price is just too absurd to justify, for me. I understand all the specs, etc., just don't see $1k worth. You could get a switch2 and steam deck(used), for that price.

If this gen is anything to go by the series x/ps5 will be supported far long into the next gen.

Playstation had the exclusive perks(whether timed or not) when it came to CoD back in the day. After the acquisition, Sony chose to give that money to bf for some exclusive perks. Playstation will have an even higher user rate(consoles sold, now this).

Actions speak louder than words. And from their past actions it's a "wait and see" approach with anything xbox from now on. For me at least.

My opinion, game pass is like the gamestop/costco console bundles. Here's the console and a bunch of crap a majority of us do not want. Let me pay $5 a month for online play and party chat.

Expensive ass game pass should subsidize online play for those that don't want the bullshyte games and perks.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ms/xb is definitely up their own arses. They're trying everything to kill this gen and speed into the next one. But with these price rises(console, game pass), the price of xbox ally, just feels like they're tying to condition us for $800+ nexbox.

I'm guessing this will be cheap compared to the neXbox. Also, if you're thinking about getting one, just do it. It'll most likely get more expensive than cheaper.

@Fiendish-Beaver no ai squad mates. You could play solo probably up to level 6/7(or higher if you're good) . There are stratagems to call in to help even the odds. You can get a drone with guns to follow you around. Playing with randoms isn't as bad as other games. 97% of players play the objectives, and chat is not even needed. You can relay everything with the in-game ping/response system.

Damn. First gen when buying first was the CHEAPER option.

Just saw this today. All my downloaded games, from gog, epic, steam, showed up on the Xbox app. Convenient, I guess.

Whatever. I've been having issues with ms rewards. They temp-banned my account because I was using their search methods for the daily searches on my phone and pc. Said it was suspicious. Soon as I get my $50 giftcard, im done. Which will be a good thing. Won't feel obligated to do the "work." I got 200+ games i havent played yet😅, so its like I have my own game pass. Time to tackle the backlog.

The other things about this seem to be a tad alarming. Ui not working properly, os not closing games when you start another(so it slows down everything because it's running two games at once), thumbsticks not responding on the homescreen, crashes, etc. It seems a lot of the teething problems the first handheld pcs had, and more than the unbranded xbox rog ally. This will be a hard sell to anyone that doesn't bleed xbox.

Let's be honest. Ms buying up studios wasn't for new games/experiences. It was to fill game pass with their catalogs. And since ms doesn't plan on using the ip they have, they should lease(or whatever the equivalent is) it out to other devs that want to see them live on.

@BleedingDreamer I believe the odst themed warbond isn't part of either bundle options. It'll be a separate purchase($10)/in-game grind(1000 super credits).

I'd go with the base option and just buy 1000 super credits($10). Cheaper than the super citizen edition and the cosmetics and extras aren't really worth the extra $20, in my opinion.

$899? You could get, and I'd much rather get a 4060 laptop for that price.

@abe_hikura when you buy a warbond, you get 300 super credits back(3 tiers, each tier on the warbond has 100 super credits), usually. And farming super credits is pretty easy. You could find 40+ a round. FIND. So just playing the game normally will get you super credits. The problem😅 is there are about 10+ warbonds now, all with pretty cool weapons and perks. So that's 10,000+ super credits, a lot of farming.

Crazy times, indeed. I'm still getting used to seeing the Sony Interactive Entertainment logo when starting death stranding on xbox.

Like I've said before, there will be more games coming to xbox from Sony. Sony wants that money before the neXbox can play steam/epic/Playstation pc games.

Lower prices, give out some free games or months of game pass ultimate.

Probably some armor and weapons. Battle rifle, sub machine gun, the legendary pistol.

Bf:bc2 was great. Bf3 is just as good.

173 games installed, from 4 gens(OG xbox, xbox 360, xbox one, series x), across multiple storages(2 hdds for older games, series x storage and 1tb expansion card).

30+ games on the ps(ps4 and 5).

70+ games on steam.

40+ games in switch.

If the only way I get a new xbox game for my Xbox series x is by the ps5 getting a new xbox game, I guess it will have to do.

Bought the ascent on a previous sale. Got alan wake 2 awhile back, dlc at a different sale. Picked up marvel ultimate alliance on ebay for $8.

Even though my backlog is 200+ games(across the gens) on xbox alone.😭

Final fantasy XIII series. It would be nice if they allowed the marvel ultimate alliance series to be available for purchase. I guess more 360 and older gen games.

All these games, devs, ideas are gonna go elsewhere/start their own studio and they'll remember. Next thing you know 30+ games aren't releasing on xbox(s).

Within the last year or more, and all the sales, I believe 2 of the 11 games on my wishlist have ever hit a sale. One because palworld is always on sale because of game pass. But the others? Never.

Playing halo 3 multiplayer online at a friend's. It was his xblive account, and i remember in halo mp you could bring along 1-3 guests, which was awesome and unheard of. Good times.

This is Sony getting ahead of the "nexbox can play steam/epic games" and getting some money before people play it through their existing library for free. Probably.

Although this is sad to see and hear, hopefully we get an abundance of new studios, great ideas, experiences, etc.

Clair obscur expedition 33. Looks beautiful, sounds better, story is great, gameplay is awesome. Other games might hit some of these notes or most, but clair hits all of them. Personally.

Ms could've spent $69B by giving 69 companies a billion each for 2-5 exclusives. 138+ games for this generation and next, and this deal would've done wonders for every party involved.
