@OldGamer999 what the benefit for xbox??? Paying rockstar??? Most poeple will still buy the game on ps5 or pc or even xbox as its a game that poeple will play +200h same as with starfield that sold very well despite being on gamepass!!

@Steel76 maybe neither of that, the studio was expending to turn from AA studio to AAA studio so this + games taking +4 years of development, i dont see any issue yet, xbox Also has lot going on with 5 games released on 2023 (minecraft legends redfall forza starfield hi fi rush)
And 2024 is bright with hellblade 2 ark 2 avowed stalker 2,maybe also fable and south of midnight and overclock

So yeah i would be worried if we dont get an update next year but no rushing them till then

Sony is winning because they are the trend loved by critics and journalists for its ps4 basically anything sony do is good for the community even increasing prices is for the greater good somehow and anything xbox does is very bad for gaming including series S gamepass cloud gaming and acquisitions

I m a flexible person and i did buy ps4 for the sake of persona 5 and some jrpgs also to play the backlog i missed on ps3 (gow 3, unchearted collection, the last of us remastred)

But this gen i m sure i dont need a ps5 and xbox saving me money and give me exclsuives i like (huge horizon 5 fan and enjoying halo infinite and loving hifi rush psychornaut 2 and of course im so in love with starfield and any bathesda game

So what im ganna do is skip this PS gen and buy the PS6 to play the backlog (ps5) and keep up with the gen but if i have to pay 10€ for next gen bull*** upgrade im out

Yes its concerning, if they dont want to sell consoles they wouldnt make them! more concerning is why? Does the compétition offer a better consoles ?better service? Better prices? Better games?
Ps5 for me is the worst generation of sony consoles in all means!!! And they get rewarded for it

@Markatron84 yes its better to suck al that money from all platforms and use some to make games and make some studios bigger to work on multiple projects

I would love for xbox to absorb japenese devs by extending tango studio and make 3 branches that work on multiple games

I wish i can have time to even play last year games!!! Om still half thro persona 5 royal (i finished original) and im playing fe fates special edition (finished brithlight), i just finished high on life and now laying Dlc also im halfway thro far cry 5...BUT I CANT CATCH UP!!! I wish we had 36h a day, i have to work and study also im married and i m playing games and going to GYM .....surely im not taking it EASY

Think about it with games like Alan wake 2 which is a GOTY materiel and wast on 150 top sold games on xbox alot of games may think about skipping xbox in the future if they arent paid to be on gamepass because most people wait games till they come to GP or are busy playing GP games,you will say "oh no im scared"

Dont worry budy this is exactly why Microsoft is going into a aquisition spree with over 30 studios under their belt its to achieve a time were they can throw a game from inside studios each month then back it up with 3rd party games and 3rd party games published by xbox

In short they want to go more like netflix where they create their own thing and keep subs busy instrmead of relying on 3rd party publisher and to acheive so they need lot of studios (more than 40 if you ask me)

@Retron the first thing i was thinking off is that COD will be under the microscope after being under xbox and the PS fanboys will try to hurt the brand
but seem activision did it themselves

i hope that COD will turn to a game released each 2 years by treyach and infinity ward (4 years cycle for each studio) and let other studios work on new titles

@Mephisto2869 ok if that Satisfies your inner fanboy, for me spiderman is another assassin creed where they recycle the game every 2 years, the first one was fun but the other ones are fun....for 10 yo kids the game is built similar and too short this + me not being a spiderman fan (i think his a soft character, i like darker heroes that do what need to be done and bring the true hammer of justice)

But i really cant see how xbox can win in a direct compitition with PS, they can win as a publisher but i can never imagine xbox beating PS in console war and i totally understand when Phil said we cant win in the normal sense and people attacked him for me his a smart guy, poeple says oh you just have to give poeple great games...but thats not enough! Sony had their worst year in exclusives this year and had few exlusives in the hole gen, with shady future in live service games ps5 slim price increase and no stand , ps plus 33% price increase...you will think poeple will get angry but ps5 having the best year in sales!!! My logic is going with phil!! Poeple doesnt count the psychic/sociologic side of the gaming community!!
Xbox is hated by media and by other bigger very loyal fanboy base! Xbox need to give great games each year for next 10 years to get the bias off

@Mephisto2869 you seem the type that wont accept any argument so i will skip and save time meanwhile this is how long it take to beat the game as per howlong to beat and its 16h for main story and 27 for complitionist those are facts that dont need an argument....i wont spend 16 to 25h on same map i hardly finished miles it was painful

Just look at siderman 2 a 15h 70€ game with same map and have so mny bugs

it's a taugh choice but i will choose PS5

Xbox now has load of studios and i want them to deliver load of games that can't be missed and get those final fantasy games that PS5 is using as prisoners for us RPG/JRPG fans

@NeoRatt japenese are on top of this industry certainly Capcom nintendo and namco.... and they deliver in time and deliver quality while their emplyee under csoop .... letting them do what they isnt the best and microsoft i the only one that tried that and failed with ok-good games and many delays and had to put them under control

I want MS to let the studios be creative but i want them to audit and keep an eye and make them respect release dates

Note: i know this year xbox released 5 games but its a cumulation from pended games from last year, also while its a big improvement for xbox having 2 mid games and 3 great in one year but xbox need a game that wins the GOTY awards, they need to shout louder declaring that they got quality

Good seem they are learning i said this last year xbox need to get a hold on those studios and make them work hard even they wont keep up with japanese (they work extra hours and pushed hard to achieve target dates actually more tjan 1000 salary man dies yearly in japan because of overworking so you can imagine how most japanese studios release games evzry 2 years or 3)
At least they will be busy in their work time and release a game each 4 years

If anyone here studied Economy this is like early 20 century were poeple was afraid that they will lost there jobs to machines, but in the end they just had to adapt and improve themselves, yes normal workers got laid off but they got replaced by technicians and engineers......
This IA phase is a truth happening instead of fighting to pend it a little poeple need to adapte to it

What poeple dont understand is the macroeconomy and how the balnce always return the companies need costumers that can pay means salaryman and salaryman need companies to satisfy his needs

oh just wait now your under xbox brand and that mean your games gets extra treatemet by gaming community and media, your game gets insta hate, bad reviews, review bombing and attacked on social media/youtube, game issues will be under microcope the hole time and any wrong move will be the header of all websites
if your game is great like starfield or hifi rush it will be treated as ok
if your game is good like forza reboot it will be treated like a flop

while ps games and studios gets insta love and fans will shield the game honor by their own live , bubbled reviews and free passes (even forspoken almost got a free pasa)

you guys know Alan wake 2 is 26 FPS on Ps5 quality mode?? no of course not if it was xbox it will be a brand breaking news that will destroy the console

just take a look at sites like N4g half of the article is about how bad/evil MS/bathesda/ABK/XBox are, go check right now and the comment section is even worst, just so you know what were dealing with.

its very tough for xbox to win on console war, even with ABK turning excluive the brand is hated and PS fan are loyal to death, speaking with a ps fanboy is like speaking to my ex, no logic nothinig you only get angry

@AverageGamer as a xbox player for a long time, i feel that Microsoft always like to test the patience of their fans and consumers they always do something wrong and this is why i understand the hate to xbox brand, paid online on xbox OG,xbox 360: red ring of death (i had it and im outside support area so i had to throw my x360), xbox DVR with DRM and kinect sold with the console and always online no cd game trading and no exclsuives to play (oh gush now writing this i remeber how co**y MS was to even think they caan get away with this...oh and F*** y** Don Mattrick)
Xbox series lunching with no exclusive and halo infinite that supposed to succed had great lunch but disastrous management, also series S holding series X behind and im sure the most powerful console wont have the time to show it not only that but it will be affected when Unreal engine 5 or equal Graphicly imprissive games drop and we will see more games having trouble with series S and skip xbox

i still think Forza motosporte was graphicly nerfed so it will be on series S

343 shoulb employ them, same thing for the innovative should employ naughty dogs layed off employees to suck some the expériences those stodios had

A reboot would be nice after 6 as i still want to see what the Unreal engine masters will do with gears 6 as final act (hopefully)

I think that the coalition have so much potentials and i would love them grow bigger to be able to work on 2 games a time and show wha thzy can do out of gears

@CenturianShark elder ring isnt that hard if you follow and use instructions and builds on youtuber, also endure the start as it will little harsh

If you like to make it easier but i dont recommande it as you play the game not in the way dev created it, you can use mods on pc

Thats....not smart, brazil have a big fanbase for xbox...how to reward them? Giving them a less powerful console with same price? Whyy?

Im a fan of xbox....but im so not trusting them or any company when they are on top, i just hope they dont make gaming more expensive than it is and rise prices left and right

@Mephisto2869 gamepass shouldn't include DLC thats too much to ask even from a average salary man like me!! live and let them live, let them get some money from early access and DLCs, if you love the game spend more gush

@Mephisto2869 are you joking? 5 Millions for a AA game made by a medium sized team is an abselute win this is not resident evil or metal gear to expect +10m sales its a new Ip AA with mid funds

great sales numbers didn't think its doing that good! obsidian is in my eyes a studio that can be insomaniac to xbox,and even better as they always deliver on time and are creative in many genres just look ate their last games (pentiment,the outer world, grounded) very different yet great games, i hope xbox will inject them with steroid (i mean funds and give them more talented staff to be able to work on 2 AAA games same time)

and please dont rush Avowed it looks fun but it really needs a big graphic upgrade

@GamingFan4Lyf sadly thats how most community think...oh xbox sucks because they dont have cinematic games...and attack almost any xbox game overlooking how great they are in their genres...like psychornaut 2 forza horizon hifi rush even halo infinite is now one of the top3 shooters in the market but people just love to hate on it, this + hating on starfield for being a "another bathesda game"

the thing is i really really dislike those cinematic go there go here press O press X cool cutscenes games!!!! if i want to watch something cool i will watch a movie or anime, what i want is a game with maximum freedom and character build and lot of choices on how i want to do my missions

...whe i was a kid iwas so impressed with CGI trailes GMV videos and cool cutscenes....not anymore

Guys keep yoir expectations in check, i doubt there will be any big surprises like exclusivity or ABK games dropping

I think this is a show were xbox show their love to 3rd party studios and show there games, maybe some good games annonced for Gamepass (bulder gate 3 is a high chance because Microsft seem to like flexing those days and getting the game that ps fanboy tried to praise so mich to not feel bad missing starfield is a huge flex)
