if eu aprove it they will go with it even without CMA but i feel like the deal is ganna fail and eu will block it and FTC will pull up a fight since CMA have blocked the deal

i was excited for the deal but honestly i feel so tired now that i think they should just forget about it and but some small studios and focus on studio management and marketing

@Moby whoever control the market will try to ripoff the consumer...thats why balance is always required, sony is pushing now for game price increase and console price increase next gen upgrade and backward compatibility thro subscription only

@Tharsman its now up to 1st party studios to make things move to next gen! once game will look so good and make big dedifference in graphics and make players want more then developers will be afraid to stay behind

I think gaming community is so toxic, just play the games, im not even a big fannof halo multiplayer but infinite multiplayer (i play the story) is lot of fun for me so many modes maps and community maps is fun what do you want? Oh leak of content in season 1.... Ok now you have a lot why not play it and enjoy it its free?

Halo infinite is really a great game both in compain and multiplayer but the gaming community is full of cry babies that wont try it because media hate it

You better start now then and do some huge marketing and make a auditing division at least you wont cry next gen

Those companies you speak about did lot of effort, you cabt have insta success with buyouts, you already got bathesda buy some other studios and build on it

A huge open world RPG, im fine with 30 FPS what i want is a great story and the usual consequences on decision making, also a fun skill trees

@Fenbops true i dont want xbox games to be like PS but iwant similar quality and pulishing but in the IPS and genre i love
I didnt buy Xbox for cinematic games neither for pentiment and indie games yes i like indies but its something i play whenvi want to chill or clear my head, but when i feel like gaming ita not the games i like to play

I bought xbox hoping for some huge single player FPS and open world RPG i bought it fpr tge first AAAA experience with initiative i bought it thinking im ganna have some games that makes me excited for games once again

If starfield is what it looks like im ganna be happy once again... Tell then im heavily disappointed

@TheArtfulDodger tell that to kaloudz who think gamepass is the way and AAA isnt important.... Xbox is suffering for a reason and AAA goodness is the reason why, pentiment is great but that wont let a single gamer in the entire 1 billion gamers in the world buy xbox to play it or sub to gamepass

oh phil admiting his in mistake mmm...maybe i will keep my xbox till the end of the year, telling it like it is can do wonders and fans punching back did its effect (instead of those oh gamepass is good xbox is good everything is good that i keep on sying in comment section)

seem like they already know what to do, audit and monitor those studios and only deliver ready games

what i want is Microsoft hiring to create a division that can audit closely those studios and keep the communication to support them and get things done correctly! also they badly need a supporting studio that go left and right to help and speed up progress

@old-dad exactly, but regarding hardware sales it will always matter, people who says not they fool themselves, it takes just a bit of thinking to understand that if microsoft tell you this the are lying

let me explain in a very obvious and logical way:
hardware sales does not only means profit on the hardware itself but also the one who buys your hardware will mostly buy accessories and most importantly using your store to make purchases (DLCs, games, MT ....) and you get that sweet 30% cut

if poeple use just think about it for 5 min that without hardware sales xbox brand loses lot of money, like so many i switched to my pc and im using pc gamepass only instead of proviously ultimate and also i use steam for game purchase......i think its easy to see the money they lose (hardware profit +ultimate profit+store puraches)

@Kaloudz then the question remain why buying xbox Series X instead of PS5?
none of my friends are convinced because they can play 3rd party games + top quality exclusives that they wont be able to play on xbox+ 3rd party games that not even available on xbox (most jrpgs and japenese games)

its funny that i cant even play my beloved megaman battle network collection on xbox

the only reason to buy an xbox is: gampass nothing more and thats not enough and thats why they got 20% of the market, you can worship them all day long but xbox is not in good position and they never learn and most of there few fans are so angry

if you think poeple can buy both console (which is the only way xbox wont have to beat PS like your assuming) your dreaming

@Kaloudz no i dont beleive they will do that not when they let a game with always online and 30 fps despite the x360 geaphics, and no phil wont make it and xbox need auditors to watch studios closely, right now xbox wont be able to be constant, they dont have the right traits to direct those studio and till phil isnt gone and ménagement isnt fix... Xbox fans will oy suffer one game up one game down

They announced games years ago that we still to see gameplay of, they released a half baked halo without contents, redfall is a disaster, fable going thro hell, the initiative the first AAAA studio lost his talents and is suffering with perfect dark everwild got rebooted..... I will beleive it when i see it

@Kaloudz what im getting at? is that xbox didnt deliver a sh*t from what they promised or what we were waiting for, yes those games still good but they arent that great, there is no game on xbox series X right now that can make a person say oh i must to play this game, all of those games are good but not blown my mind good, nothing like wow this was one of my best games kinda good, nothing like wow this is the best time i had in a game kinda good, not wow i should get my friends to see this kinda good.

My point is: if you want to beat real madrid you have to be barcelona if you want to race a lamborghini you have to drive a ferrari, if you want to fight mike tyson you have to be Mohamad Ali.....
you need GOTY games to be able to compete on same level to make us as fans not regret buying xbox which is my feeling now

@Sebatrox how many of those was nominated for GOTY? Non they are good but nothing close to compete with sony exclusives! When fanboys will stop defending Xbox or even PS we will acheive something

@Kaloudz bro a good year isn't enough for xbox and hell not for xbox fans, we didnt have a GOTY material game for decades we didnt have great quality games for years and we did have next to nothing last year but some small game and niche exclsuives (scorn high on life) so hi fi rush which despite being good and it did give us hope microsoft gived us a game delayed 2 times jus to be ugly shooter in 30 fps with DRM always online and buggy? Your happy? As fan im furious

@nomither6 achieved isnt sustainable if you thing so you will be highly disappointed, 60 fps/1440p on games developed for ps4 and xbox one isnt a true achievement

@nomither6 if you want 60fps as standard you have to buy a PC, because consoles wont be able to keep that in the next years when everyone leave last gen behind, and games with huge worlds are very demanding

@Sakai you think poeple are willing to understand that?? its enough that starfield is a xbox exclusive and bathesda is a publisher bought by xbox ...its an enough mixture to create lot of hate for a game adding 30 fps and the internet will explode certainly after redfall backlash

i said this many times with all hate around xbox brand and how much media and community is supporting sony, xbox needs to make legendary games to actually keep them shut....but they released redfall to just make it worst

beleive me i can smell a failure when i see one,studios are unproductive and management doesnt have vision and understanding of the market or what gamers want!

i can change my mind when phil is gone and management is changed, and most importantly when Microsoft creating a division that audit those lazy studios and watch them closely, also they should start investing in supporting studios that can support the studios in need

cheering for Xbox those days remind me of my friend being a Manchester united fan they got load of money and they spend crazy amounts on players but they never win a title and always let their fans down, and funny things the fans says the same things we xbox fans says: oh they bought this and that just wait for next E3/season

Imagine inviting one of the most brilliant physicians (MS) and tell him to make a heart surgery to a patient....you can give him the best materiels (studios) and the best assistants (bathesda) to help him do it but he will still suck at it, why? because he doesn't know what his doing he doesn't have the knowledge (market) or the skills and only have general knowledge of the body (the targeted consumer) to do it and thats what happening with MS.

@StylesT one other thing i know that sony is playing dirty when bying 3rd party games i do hate it, but guess what? they are good at that too!! they are winning projects (FFremake,silenthill remake,SFV, FF16...) and guess what even their pick on exclusivity contents like they did with hogwards legacy and made PS the best place to play this juggernaut is smart,

in the other hand you thing xbox doenst pay for 3rd party exclusivity??? they do and they suck at it or they pick some niche game scorn?high on life? i bet even the game kojima is making (some experimental horror game) will suc* too!! after 10 years of waiting for xbox to do something i finally see the real problem which is the mentality, and you can never change someone mentality once its broken

@StylesT so took them another 2 yo to make this ok game...what about 343? Rare? and also thos studios that been working years on games we didnt even see a gameplay of and we keep hearing bad thing happening and developing hell (fable, perfect dark,everwild, contraband, indiana johns??) if you ask me turn10 and obsidian are the only studios that really should get their salaries, and phil strategy suc*s he almost do nothing but bla bla on interviews and im done with it

I hope now poeple will understand when i said MS management doesn't have the vision to pick winning projects or know how to menage there studios.... They got 24 studios and what we get is ok to good games as best... I will be honest... I didn't renew my ultimate gamepass and im planning to sub to pc gamepass only.... Xbox is a let down i hope my series X will get me a good price

Thats the only way like i said 1st they should make a team of auditors that monitor the development progress and employees productivity!
2nd is buying 2 or 3 studios (Asobo plz)
3rd: create a supporting studio that support teams in need and also advice game changes
4th is fighting fire with fire throw money to game studios to make some 3rd party exclsuives

@GeeEssEff i got a gaming laptop (3060 rtx) so i will still play on gamepass but the console is a borther now and i need the money to pay for my professional bachelor this year

they should go and hire audits and go focus on those 24 studios they own, i swear i never seen such unproductive studios in all my years gaming!!! took them 6 to 7 years to release unworthy games, i imagine xbox studios (not obsidian and turn 10 ) are eating donuts in the corners, working 1 productive hour a day!!

go and make them work, xbox is a joke now you have to man up

I feel so dumb investing in a xbox series X, but i will sell it im in need of money now anyway,
I thought that phil is the man 3 years ago but now im totally aware of what phil really is, his a good talker and he made us beleive and drug us for years now, dont get me wronv he did really good convincing MS to invest in xbox and he did a good job deciding which ones to buy also he gived us GP.... But his not the right man for the current situation, his bad at choosing his managements team and arrenging his studios, also his not putting mich effort at marketing and have bad decision making when it comes to which game to make

Sorry but beside bathesda that has their own management i dont see xbox making any great games anytime soon

You know what xbox??? Why not invest more on smaller studios and actually hire some audits for god sake your studios are out of pace and always late releasing unfinished games!!! And make some god dam* marketing plan for your products
If you just do those 2 things right you will surely be able to compete with sony, you got more than 22 studios make them do some work! Aside from obsidian and playground seem all other studios have bad management or bad decision making or are thro development hell! Phil thank you for everything but its time you step down and let someone with a vision that smell a good project when he see one, you seem to not understand the market and not know what projects have potentials
And for god sake let playground use unreal engine instead of using a racing game engine in a RPG didnt you learn from halo infinite????

I dont know seem like i will just sell my xbox, i dont see them being a good gaming company anytime soon, i will stick playing on pc and buy a pc gamepass, im done with xbox this gen and I've been waiting for them to comeback for ages now
