I dislike these backgrounds. They all look terrible in my opinion.

A plain black or white background is what I always opt for when the option is available.

I have paid £99.99 for Doom The Dark Ages Premium Edition.

You can also pay £99.99 if you look at the store page. That how much the game costs. If you don't pay £99.99 you don't get the DLC.

In other words, if you don't pay £99.99 you don't get the full game.

I believe Microsoft own Bethesda now.
Therefore I think it is accurate to say that Microsoft are charging £100 for a game.

Nintendo games are no more expensive than Xbox games or Playstation games.

I think the prices for Switch 2 titles seem to be in line with everything else on the market these days.

Other companies rapidly drop the prices of their games because their games are not as good as Nintendo games.

I also think it's fair to offer a discount on a digital purchase. Their online is very cheap compared to rival consoles.

In my opinion Xbox is a console for adults (certainly in comparison to the Switch)
But by the looks of some of the comments on this page at the moment it seems Mummy and Daddy must still be buying a lot of games for these people that don't seem to be able to afford games.

Also Microsoft are not being "good guys" with Game Pass. It's one of the biggest companies in the world trying to cynically control the games industry because they can't make decent games themselves.

I bought two Elite controllers and they are a waste of money when one considers their price in comparison to the normal version.

They fall apart, the little rubber parts on the sliding switches on the back gets loose and slack over time. The rubber feeling means I don't like the idea of anyone sharing them they feel like petridishes.

I lost my save for Starfield on Xbox. I had finished the game. But the save file seemed to delete for some reason. I would love to play this at 60fps, but I really would rather wait until they bring out the inevitable PS5 version, as I really am fed up playing games on the Xbox at this stage. The loss of the Starfield save really put me off using the console.

I finished it.
I was looking forward to New Game +, but my save file deleted.

I lost Starfield Save data about a month ago and tonight I just lost my BG3 data. Thank God I have it backed up to Steam.

It has been pretty poor for Xbox this year.

Redfall was garbage.
Starfield didn't live up to expectations.
HiFi Rush was good.

They continue to lose market share.
Xbox One failed.
Series S and Series X should have been a proper NEW generation console.
The fact that they missed out on one of the biggest games of the year because of the Series S is a joke. (BG3)
Foolish mistakes.
These acquisitions don't look like they're going to do much that I find interesting.

I expect they will succeed in devaluing every brand they have acquired from Activision/Blizzard over the next few years.

Why is there a Sub Zero mask on Luke on the image for this review? It doesn't make any sense. Is it a joke or something?

Sonic Frontiers and Scorn deserve much lower scores than the scores that were given out by PureXbox.
8/10 for Sonic Frontiers and 7/10 for Scorn.

The Outer Worlds is a very enjoyable game. I feel it didn't get enough praise. Great to see it get an update.

@Dr_Luigi I love Cobra Triangle. Not my favourite game in the collection, but it's well up there. I have it on the NES, used to play it a lot as a kid.

I've never played a Saint's Row game. I am very glad I have never played any of these games as they have always looked pretty crap to me.

Microsoft love jumping on the Bandwagon marketing.
When they clearly don't have a clue about the subject matter.

As an Irish man I feel ignored by Microsoft, they skipped St Patrick's Day and didn't release St Patrick's Day Shamrock armor, the pissed Chief emoji and potato gun.

I think this was one of the worst looking game demos I have ever seen. I hope it's good but I can't see it.

Buying the download code from Game definitely works - I did it about three days ago! I hope this helps.

@Richnj Destiny is better than Halo 4 and Halo 5.

I can't say I'm overly interested in this game to be honest.

It just looks a bit naff in my opinion.

Metroid Dread

There was a better time for Banjo Threeie, but that ship sailed once Rareware lost the guiding hand of Nintendo, unfortunately.

Naturally, I would love it if the next Banjo Kazooie was announced and turned out to be better than its predecessors. I just can't see it happening.
