@Banjo- your numbers be a little off or behind. Playstation 5 currently sold 46.6 million unit. The game Pass figure include every version of Xbox sub, not just Game Pass Ultimate.

@Banjo- as of 9 November PS5 has sold 46.6 million units. Xbox Series console sold 21.8 million. 75% of Series sales are Series S. i know PS+ has about 20 million more subs than all types of Game Pass.

If Xbox were number 1 in industry they sing it from rooftops!! If you sell more console you sell more games, you sell more dlc, you get more subs!! Most Game Pass subscribers is on Xbox. Sell more Xbox, get more subscribers. It not rocket science!!

They need earn that $69 billion back!! 🥴😂

I think the few problem is with the dev’s not UE5!! UE5 is incredible if used by talented dev! A bad work man always blame his tool as my grandpa would say.

@BAMozzy i know it never existed but it a fact Said games were coming to PS5. Phil Spenser said he isn’t buying Bethesda to take games from gamers. He did just that. I don’t mind so much as i played on my Series X.
Also the paying to keep games off Xbox is a bit hypocritical. These timed exclusives. Xbox 360 had numerous timed exclusives, if todays player base was similar Xbox Series have time exclusive. Atari 2600 was first to have time exclusive.

@BAMozzy there is difference tho. Starfield, Redfall and Indiana were being made as third party game. Microsoft simply bought studio and made said games exclusive. Sony not do that. Sony buy dev, invest, hire new staff, few year later we get new ip, a brand new exclusive game. Imo 3rd party game should stay 3rd party, new games make Xbox exclusive.

@Banjo- people definite buy Playstation for exclusives. Yes people play COD, Fortnight, etc, but it’s the exclusive that sells the console. Even Phil Spencer said Playstation wins because has better games.

@Onlyboxmatters that the silliest comment i ever read!! Playstation exclusive games widely regarded as best games. They get 10/10 from majority reviews!! Sell anywhere between 10 an 30+ million copies. In last 13 year at least one PS exclusive been nominated for GOTY every single year!! Winning it five time!!!

@Banjo- i not think Hifi Rush would, it was decent, def not GOTY contender. Sifu is better imo. I haven’t played new Zelda, got Breath of Wild an think that great. Baldurs Gate is incredible and Spiderman is a vast improvement on previous game. It real is so, so good. I see some say dlc or copy an paste, these people have clearly not played game. Of coarse it gonna be similar, it a sequel!! Every sequal gonna have traces of previous game. Is Red Dead 2 copy an paste? Is GTA? Is Halo? Gears? TLOU? God of War? Uncharted?

@Banjo- which game would you drop from list of nominee for Hifi Rush?? Hifi Rush not bad but not same level as Baldurs Gate, Spiderman 2 and TOTK.

I think GTA6 will break records. Rickstar never let us down, always incredible games an always improve. Red Dead 2 is my current fav, i think GTA6 will beat it.

@Banjo- last reported figure Playstation 5 had sold 42 million, Series consoles 21 million. 75% of Series console sales are Series S, only about 5 million Series X sold. You can bet lot of Playstation 5 gamers bought Series S as second console.

@Dan1283 i really don’t think it will be. I think they carry on tradition like games of old. Close the the bone. I think stories will make news about woke people being upset with aspects of game.

Times have changed! 20 years ago this would be fine. Manhunt was sick game, that came Xbox!! It sell for about £70-£100 on Ebay today. I have Playstation version.

@Banjo- i think you find Series X an Playstation 5 are pretty much identical. Xbox used in their advertising “THE MOST POWERFUL GAMES CONSOLE ON THE MARKET!!!”
The were forced to alter to “MOST POWERFUL XBOX ON MARKET!!!”

Both are great service. Playstation can’t possibly offer day 1 exclusives, it cost them 10 times more than cost Xbox!! Playstation exclusive sell anywhere between 10 and 30 million copies!! Xbox exclusive never sold close to this! If day 1 exclusive did come PS+ i’d worry that quality of games may drop. Less cash coming in mean less cash invested in new games.

@BacklogBrad i really think Playstation sales will drop. I read 75% of Series sale are Series S. You can bet a lot who own PS5 bought a Series S as their second console for Xbox games like Starfield an COD.

@ZuneTattooGuy original GoW is great but i much prefer PS4/PS5 games. Graphics are important but not defining factor. Minecraft doesn’t have good graphics an my kids love that. Numbers come out of character in turn based games, you’re right, it stupid. I like my combat like Spiderman 2 combat. Fast paced, exciting and incredible looking. Not i hit you! Bang! 63 points! I not excited by this at all. I could buy on my PS5 if i was. I like combat, games like Gears, The Last of Us, God of War, Diablo 4, etc, turn based combat just seems boring to me. I mean who fights like that!? I hit you, you hit me, i hit you, you hit me… 🥱 🥱

Since Saturday Spiderman 2, it’s fantastic. MK1, Forza M and Starfield before that.

@JustinSane i don’t think anyone will switch for COD. They likely buy a Series S if COD is all they want Xbox for. A lot of Playstation owners already own Series S in my opinion. Of the 22 million Xbox Series console sales 75% are Xbox Series S. I’m a COD fan but it def not as good as Playstation exclusive games.

Whilst COD is on Playstation sales will remain pretty much same as before.

I’d like to see some new games! I’d like see MS say here’s a blank cheque, make us a sensational, exclusive game!! Like Sony do with their acquired devs. COD, Diablo, Tony Hawkes, etc are great games but had MS not bought Activision we’d have still got those games. I want a TLOU or Uncharted or God of War or Spiderman competitor. Playstation acquired devs bring us new games that always smash reviews. Xbox need do same!!

If someone offered to give me this i’d politely refuse. That look so bad!! I mean gorgeous graphics don’t always make great game but this just look terrible and boring!

Will we get new games tho? New ip’s. I have feeling nothing really change!! We continue get COD, maybe another Diablo, Tony Hawkes. As far as being a gamer go Microsoft owning Activision will make no difference what so ever. As you were gamers.

I play it on Game Pass ot PS+ in future, not gonna buy. Looks fun tho an i love original Robocop movie!!

Keep meaning to get back to Starfield. Not played for bout 1 week. Been playing Mortal Kombat 1, Cyberpunk and Ghosts n Goblins resurrection which was on offer on PS+. It’s basically old game with PS4 visual. Very good an…..THERE’S DIFFICULTY SETTING!!

@Raffles you think best way for Microsoft to make money invested back is to make COD exclusive an stop 70% of COD players buying the game??? Unless Xbox become huge an overtake Playstation, (not gonna happen), they will never make COD exclusive. Each COD sell bout 25 million copy on Playstation, far, far less on Xbox. Why you think Minecraft not exclusive???
