Re: Battlefield 6 Price & Release Date Leak Ahead Of 2025 Xbox Launch

Fragslayer

@kuu_nousee well yeah, it's technically called "PlaySomeStuff Anywhere and never you're actual library" internally.

Jokes aside this is their new direction so I fully expect both these things to be sorted out. It is more work then we think but they are working. I hope it comes when we get that Modular Xbox console Phil was talking about at the end of the XB1 era.

Re: Xbox Hardware Isn't Dead But 'Big Changes' Are Coming, Says Digital Foundry

Fragslayer

@NeoRatt The only problem that is stopping this from happening right this second is they don't have the means to allow our ENTIRE library to be played "everywhere".
When this happens, which they are hard at work on as we speak this will absolutely be the case I believe.

I prefer my outcome which I've been on board with since the end of the XB1 era when I heard the only good idea Phil Spencer has had and that was Xbox building Modular Console.

One kit we buy one time then simply plug and play upgrades and auto OS/driver updates. This wouldn't scare away people who like the ease of consoles while allowing upgrades much faster. Multiple storefronts ect. This would open up modding as well if they pivot more to windows.

This would actually be more helpful to the platform then anything and would actually convert people faster then exclusives. Sony would only take this route kicking and screaming.

Re: Digital Foundry Impressed With Oblivion Remastered, But Xbox Series S 'Takes A Hit'

Fragslayer

@ganonms Digital Foundry has kind of turned into clown shoes. Maybe test it yourself I've got 60 hours in and the only stuttering I had was changing performance/quality mode while in-game when I first started to check them both out.

You have the option the change it while playing but the game didn't like it much at all. You have to turn off a few settings to like screen reflections as it looks like trash. All in all it has ran great on XBSX. Now it does have some bugs here and there but stuttering isn't one of them.

Edit: Forgot you mentioned PC I'll have to check it out but that's pretty standard for UE5 in general and this is UE5 wrapped around Gamebryo.

Re: Xbox Game Pass Title Atomfall Looks 'Distractingly Last-Gen', Says Tech Review

Fragslayer

@Mincey0 Have you played Avowed, or just stating the way it looks? It by no means moves the needle but it's a great stress free game. Something that has been missing as of late. So you're comment is very subjective as I name Avowed a great game for 2025.

I also expect some coming to be good to. Clockwork Revolution (hopefully this year), Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Gears E-day, GTA6 (for most people I'm not sold yet), Mafia: The Old Country, Borderlands 4 (maybe, unlikely tho for me), Monster Hunter, Metroid 4 to name a few.

PS5 specifically maybe Death Stranding 2 though this also is subjective I don't care for the rest of his games (sorry) but I liked the original with the Dualsense (PS5 upgrade). Also this is almost certain but GOT: Youei is this year, can't wait.

Re: Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (January 14)

Fragslayer

So why can't Xbox get a port of Diablo? I think Ultimate is a ripoff now. I may cancel my subscription for the first time since the OG Xbox. They raised the price for console players and added PC benefits a lot of people don't care about. They need to make all of their owned IP available on both platforms or drop the price.

Re: Sony's New $320M 'Alliance' Has Left Xbox Fans Breathing A Sigh Of Relief

Fragslayer

@PSDeckSwitchOwner riiight because there was so much competition in the console market at the time? Sega didn't really work with the western side much and Nintendo was doing what it's always done, Nintendo. It's not comparable at all really and redundant to keep repeating this across the Internet. Now Sony has a direct competitor and they did exactly what Sony did to get to where they are.

Re: Sony's New $320M 'Alliance' Has Left Xbox Fans Breathing A Sigh Of Relief

Fragslayer

@Stocksy yeah I would agree with you 100% but that's just how the industry has always worked, like it, hate it, it changes nothing. If TES is exclusive I'll scream into the void with you, not cool or acceptable at all. Every studio at Sony that pumps out those games you all love were 3rd party/independent studios until Sony bought them, Short of SMS.

Activision though I honestly think this saved what was left of them, they were in turmoil and Bobby never would have stepped down he would have buried the conglomerate with him. I could be wrong of course, don't think I'm spouting this as fact, just based off what I was seeing it was going to end up like every other massive 3rd party dev is going through these days. Ubisoft is looking to be next. When the industry needed all you're voices the most nobody was there... It was to busy focusing on Xbox and not Embracer Group. That was devastating even with the companies that were spared. I don't even think it's over yet honestly, I still worry about 4A games and Crystal Dynamics.

Re: Sony's New $320M 'Alliance' Has Left Xbox Fans Breathing A Sigh Of Relief

Fragslayer

@PSDeckSwitchOwner actually there was plenty of bad press on both. If you're honestly comparing the two, you're out of touch with reality. Had Sony had the pockets to do it they would have and would have demanded they be exclusive to PlayStation. Xbox will not make Activision IP exclusive, this I can say with confidence. I could see WOW hitting Xbox first as a test of it ever happens but that's it. Now on to the second point, the gravity of this acquisition is on another level. Highly beloved, one of a kind, award winning IPs that Sony would, again, 100% make exclusive. They are so anti consumer it's unreal yet the consumer just loves em. Brainwashing at its finest.

Re: Xbox Dev Teases Fans With Sneak Peek Of New Game Pass Title

Fragslayer

@Ricky-Spanish well for sport I'm guessing. Considering the state of the world and it's feelings they don't want to come right out and say he was starved and forced to fight ect ect. Also maybe just simply saving money on not buying them food can be classified as profit especially if they are making you money in other areas as well. It is a extremely sad but true animalistic human trait some people have.

Re: Snoop Dogg Reveals His Insane Xbox 'Year In Review' Stats For 2024

Fragslayer

Top 2% time played: 1,568 hours
Top 5% and 10% for Achievements and Gamerscore in that order.

I'm still proud of the latter because what's crazy is my top 3 games.

Starfield - 292 hours mostly modded achievements off.

Warframe - 150 hours

Balders Gate lll - 136 hours (and going) mostly modded achievements off. Literally 1 achievement from this one.

So making top 5% and 10% was purely based off the other 91 games I played for a minute and is in the backlog. I also don't care about achievements like others, mods will always trump them.

If I ever get to them anyways, I have BG3 to finish then I just got bit by NMS I fear that game is going to get me.

Re: Xbox Delayed Avowed Purely Because Of Its 2024 Game Pass Schedule

Fragslayer

Yeah, except it wasn't. I would much rather play Avowed than Indiana Jones, considering the morons at Xbox are also holding up Outer Worlds 2 by putting a game ahead of it by a company they got way after acquiring and announcing Obsidian and it's games. Had they said, it's been shelved for a minute and they are hard at work on OW2 then it would be better but still annoying, because as I said, IDGAF about indie. I have no faith now that Todd has been running the show on that game. I also find it funny the upgrade is 34.99 when Starfield wasn't even close to that much. 34.99 + 20 for the sub = just buy the game, and Gamepass will now be useless.

So for the love of whatever floats you're boat don't buy that crap. Xbox is testing the waters if it does well, it'll become the norm for every game. Use some sense, you're only taking value away from yourself in the long run. Before the rebuttals of, well you get access to lots of games, that's not the point at all. One, most people will have already played those games as Gamepass only has one selling point, day one releases. PS+ consistently has better 3rd party games on its service (earlier and free) and it's cheaper. I'm a Xbox main by the way, I'm just trying to keep it that way.

Re: Reaction: Xbox Focusing On 'Blockbuster Games' Should Be No Surprise After The Failure Of Concord

Fragslayer

@Markatron84 I feel like we haven't seen the last of Concord honestly. The fact we can't make sense of it otherwise kind of points to this.
Maybe they put it out saw who would actually buy it.
Watched the player count for those who did buy it.
Checked feedback.
Pulled the game w/ refunds.
Took it back to the drawing board.
Also probably on the back burner though to push out some other titles.

This coupled with the fact, they are just throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks. I commend thier commitment to succeeding though. Though I'm not sure it's necessary.

Re: Reaction: Xbox Focusing On 'Blockbuster Games' Should Be No Surprise After The Failure Of Concord

Fragslayer

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Let's not do like "journalist" do and leave transparency out of the equation. Redfall is a horrible example. Sony started, greenlite and published the game from the very beginning.

Redfall was pretty much done and part of a acquisition. Now I will say Phil probably learned to get up out his chair and check on games instead of taking someone's word on it. Especially when they are trying to inflate their price to be bought by him. He thought oh it's Zenimax it can't be bad.

Re: Bethesda Makes Changes To Starfield Mods Following 'Negative Effects' On Xbox

Fragslayer

Good because modding Starfield on Xbox has been pure doo doo. Skyrim I had zero issues as I wasn't a noob to modding as a most we're on consoles. Starfield though has been complete and utter trash.

Hopefully they can fix the issues as I won't start another save and just quit the game all over again. I don't have the time I used to so losing even 40 hours is a nuisance I can't tolerate especially after having to disable and enable mods every single time I boot the game to get my audio back.

I doubt they will remove performance mods but if it's the mod I think it is I still quit. The mod that turns off Bethesdas horrid color filter. The game is actually good on the eyes (unlike some have said) but you never see it through all that green. I can't play without it now. Sure maybe if you turn everything off it'll look like crap but I think that's every game ever made now.

Re: Six Games Are Confirmed For Xbox Game Pass In July 2024 So Far

Fragslayer

Avowed didn't even get a date (minus a accidental one on their website which could still be a placeholder and has since been removed). Fable barely got anything new. Perfect Dark at least got showed I guess. Cool for Flintlock I guess I'ma try it. But dang Xbox is slow AF are they just not supporting their studios or what? Obsidian made NV in less time than it took for FO3. Yes dev cycles are longer but I expect this to be a pretty short game. Either as long or shorter then OW. I mean Ninja Theory is a legendary developer and look at HB2. Short AF and took 5 years to make... I will chalk some of that up to learning and leveraging UE5 but still something needs to change.

I rather graphics get toned back and they focus on shorter cycles, better AI, complex systems ect. Just fun games again instead of this nonsense. To many games already hitting 5 years with no official dates or even showcases.

Re: Our Predictions For The 2024 Xbox Games Showcase

Fragslayer

Only shadow drop option better be Avowed it's been long enough and we still need Outer Worlds 2. Just release the game already it's probably short n somewhat linier Obsidian goodness so it's time. As for reveals I think it's time to let us know if Perfect Dark is truly in development hell or not. Fable also needs a date and a timely one at that even if that means putting their precious Forza on hold. Still don't understand how PG got the Fable IP I'm baffled considering the devs at their disposal. Phil is uh Phil I guess I think he smokes to much for a suit. Also a New Vegas 2 or a Remake and a Oblivion remake or I give up on Phil's vision of Xbox for real.

This generation was oversold and highly disappointing I actually hope they announce the next Xbox regardless of popular opinion. We need more power and the gap needs to close more consistently with PC. Consoles really do hold the industry back to a substantial degree.

Most importantly. More so then games. More so then hardware. I'd like to see and hear a competent plan come out of Phil's mouth that shows a promising direction for the brand. Coupled with competent plans for the utilization of all that talent they own. Otherwise Phil needs to step down rather then be fired.

Re: GameSir Unveils 'Groundbreaking' New Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller

Fragslayer

Yeah while on the topic of Bluetooth that's another failure of Xbox. I'm guessing when you sold the Bluetooth technology of the 360 to the government you sold it's rights to. Because every controller after the 360 is a turd in comparison.

I used to show people I could go MANY houses down tell them to look at the screen and it would work. Now it's some proprietary garbage that constantly disconnects and nobody talks about it. I'm 3 XBSX consoles in and even this brand new one cuts out. So I can't say bad luck anymore..

Re: Talking Point: What Convinced You To Pick Xbox In The First Place?

Fragslayer

Well after Dreamcast died even though it was responsible for bringing arcade quality gaming into our homes I needed a alternative.

Then comes the Xbox which is actually responsible for bringing online console gaming we all know and love into our homes. A fact people forget or missed. It was heavily backed by Sega so that piqued my interest.

Then something truly crazy happened they released the specs. This box was going to run off DX, Intel Pentium 111 and a Nvidia GeForce 3....... TF......That's when I said MS/Xbox is coming to play and win.

I've been a Xbox main since but have always been a multiplatform player since the Master System/NES. I've defended and talked up Xbox since the XB1 doing so with thoughts of what I would do with all those publishers.

I got to say though, I've stopped doing those things. Truth hurts but Xbox and especially the ppl making the decisions have squandered every internet breaking decision they could have made. You stopped doing different things because you listen the oppositions fanboys thinking listing to them will change sales.

You have so many devs and IP at you're disposal but so many years later and I've yet to hear ONE exciting thing coming from it. Short of Avowed and I guess Outer Worlds 2 though I think the latter would have happened without Xbox. ( They could have bought back the rights and with Xbox's current state they probably would have done it)

You gave Fable to Playground games..... Playground Games. Not to say they aren't great devs they make the best racing sim in the world. They just aren't a good fit for Fable or wouldn't have been my 1st or even 4th choice. I hope you prove me wrong. Considering the lack of well anything about the game I don't have high hopes.

Phil's obsession with Gamepass and tripling down on it just feeds fuel to the flames. FOCUS ON YOURE GAMES AND DEVS. The lack of involvement within their own studios is well dumb. Sure don't hold their hands but make sure it's on track to be something we want to play.

343 Studios is a PRIME example of the consequences of the aforementioned issue. How do you ruin Halo? The formula was done for you? Gears, same crap this constant push for open world elements that have no business in these games.

Really all's I can say is look within yourselves while looking back at what made Xbox great in the heyday Xbox/360. I would LOVE to see crap on everyone and go with Intel and Nvidia again. Maybe not the current intels let's wait till gen. Then both you and Nintendo would be running Nvidia hardware.

Look at you're IP look at the cult classics and start greenlighting sequels and or Remakes to hold us off till new IP launches. You can have collaboration between studios now you have that power. You need to turn all the publisher power into a well oiled machine and kill it.

Sending exclusives to PlayStation only helps PlayStation and is only worth it if they do the same. Otherwise every person such as myself who has HEAVILY invested into the Xbox ecosystem won't buy anything from Xbox especially if you ditch hardware. Which is you're future if you send all you're exclusives to PS.

In a perfect world we wouldn't have exclusives and each person could pick the box they want. Take a look out the window and you can see this world is far from perfect.

Oh but you're hardware, elite controller, backwards compatibility and OS all rock.

Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy A 'Revised' Xbox Series X|S Controller In 2024?

Fragslayer

Yeah it has to have precision haptics. I guess hall Effect sensors are like unicorns nowadays. I mean the Dreamcast had them so I'm confused here. That aside modular is cool to so long as it doesn't create other issues. All's Xbox has ever needed was some bells and whistles and the controller design itself is spot on. Do NOT change the shape or feel of the controler. Also you can't completely ramrod us Elite freaks. Launch them at the same time, I don't care about the price as much as others might. Just make sure we aren't waiting eons to get a Elite version.

Re: Poll: Four Months Later, Are You Still Playing Starfield?

Fragslayer

I played hard at launch but the NG+ kind of sucked the life out of it. I completely did a first playthrough as in finished the story and most of not all side content. I see the logic because of Skyrim and how many new games had been made in that game. It just didn't flow well in Starfield when they release new content and open up mods and make Outposts bigger and badder I'll for sure be back. All the hate in it is ridiculous and boils down to exclusivity which is sad. It wouldn't have gotten 98% of the critique if it was on PlayStation. I already have to deal with BG3 winning GOAT for the same exact reason.

Re: Activision Says Xbox Can 'Take Games In The Library And Remake Them' Post-Acquisition

Fragslayer

@BacklogBrad id totally agree if it were ANY OTHER acquisition they have made. What could they possibly pull them off of? COD? Or maybe COD again. These guys aren't making anything right now we have the the god forsaken COD about to launch we have support on Diablo 4 Overwatch 2 ect. Nah the best thing MS could do is finally take the focus off of COD split the devs up let Raven finally do something else again. They can offer support to quickly remake some games while others are in pre production. Actually now is literally the best time to do this. Blizzard has been a 9 to 5 mentality they're games have lately have proven that. So I doubt they have even started anything else. They need to focus on finally getting WOW to Xbox that's just good business it would bring a lot of people to Gamepass. It's sad to say but they will actually get more from bringing old IP back right now till things get reorganized.

Re: 10 New Xbox Games To Look Forward To In October 2023

Fragslayer

I've all but given up on Darktide actually coming to Xbox let alone Gamepass. It sits right next to S.A.L.K.E.R 2 considering the first game never made it to the 360. Gotham Knights was a nice surprise that has had me at odds so now I can actually try it before I buy it. I also am Surprised Sonic is coming to GP I already pre-ordered the game though. My kids will be very happy Hot Wheels is FINALLY coming considering he got his hopes up just to have it dashed for the longest time. Speaking of Xbox you should really try to avoid this stuff it seems to happen a lot lately. then we have the biggest most anticipated game on the list Alan Wake 2. Talk about long time coming. Throw Mario Wonders (I'll pass on Spider man 2 till it's on PS+) in the mix and we got more games than time. Starfield, MK1 and CP2077 is demanding enough I may need a clone or two anybody know a good place to get some?

Re: 10+ Xbox Game Pass Titles Received New Announcements At Gamescom 2023

Fragslayer

@Kaloudz It's truly baffling watching people dog Xbox for getting rid of a toxic cycle of people abusing the new members rate. Literally insinuating Xbox is the problem and they suck ect. Is this the world we live in now? Sooo you can't get a service for a dollar, good... you shouldn't. I haven't gotten it for a dollar and have never felt the need to cancel it. Xbox has done so much for the hobby/industry that they will never get recognition for. Scratch that, credit for the same delusional people probably think Sony did it all. Gamepass is a great deal and is about to get better. Our subs helped fund Xboxs growth and they now have quite a few devs under that green belt. It'll pay off soon and people will have to find some other crazy reason to run ones mouth. Don't confuse this for bashing Sony either I've been buying/had every console since I was child (therefore have a PS5 and all before it). Brand loyalty or Fanboys are laughable to me. Each thing brings something different to the ecosystem. Each thing brings competition, competition equals good things for consumers. Sorry that went into a rant I just read some REALLY STUPID crap about this. Because of Starfield people are "mad" (sad) and really do not want to pay Xbox or Bethesda for their work. Go play in the street. I would bet they would pay Sony for a $1000 for a PS5 EXCLUSIVE Starfield edition where Jim Ryan comes to your house spits in your mouth , beats you up, jacks all you're stuff and empties your bank accounts. Leaves the game code for you which would say this code has already been used but then you realize he took your PS5 and they rate it Game Of The Year anyways without ever playing it.

Re: 10+ Xbox Game Pass Titles Received New Announcements At Gamescom 2023

Fragslayer

Stalker 2 was supposed to hold me over till Starfield. Such a disappointment they can't do they're job due to idiots. If that's actually the reason at all. Taking thier word for it ATM. So now it's WAY on the back burner for me now and that is a crap launch window for that game. I wish them luck though I hope it does well.

Re: Red Dead Redemption Comparison Shows How Well Xbox Version Holds Up Against PS4

Fragslayer

@EVIL-C Of course things are going to change they don't want to overload the backend. Some games will be lost that's a given. As for completely doing a 180 and giving up on B/C, it is a reality. That is also a reality where people give up on a brand so I don't think it'll be such a easy decision. They may take a break on it they may not hype it up so much now that they have actual games to talk about. But I'm comfortable albeit not positive they won't give up on it. Phil would have to not want his job or any respect to make a stupid decision such as that. I have 5 boxes (kid you not) of Xbox 360 games. I install them as I need them and love Xbox for that. It is a selling point, and whoever said 5% of the community let's say that's even accurate. Id argue that's the 5% (likely more) who are like me and are heavily invested into the brand/hobby. Retro gaming has made a big comeback I've had some insane offers for my collection I have on Facebook from the younger guys. So yes it's possible they just throw up they're hands and give up on something they are proud of but it's nonsensical. That said you may end up correct in your evaluation God knows companies have done dumber things. They will however lose something from that decision though. PlayStation at least shows no Interest in it so it's expected where as Xbox has built it's brand on it.

Re: Red Dead Redemption Comparison Shows How Well Xbox Version Holds Up Against PS4

Fragslayer

@XboxTheBestBox yes it is and they get most my money for it. I'm sick of comparisons to honestly. As a owner of all of em I can see them firsthand. Yes Sonys 1st party titles look great but ummm so does Xboxs. 3rd party games are identical and any difference you would never notice on normal terms. I actually find most games run better (not necessarily looks) on Xbox so digital foundry be damned. Point is I buy any game I can on Xbox (3rd party) and obviously any game I can't on PS. I'm even waiting on Balder's Gate if I play it at all as I don't appreciate what they did but that's another story and article. Better online, service better community and a great way to play older games at higher Framerates and HDR without waiting on a company to charge you full price for a buggy remaster that barley looks different and somehow breaks the game. Also they gave us a beastly way to play retro games (I'm sure some of you know) I like it better then on PC somehow.

Re: Starfield's Early Access Release Times Have Already Been Revealed

Fragslayer

@BacklogBrad Again you are getting day one access which refers to the standard launch date. This is nothing new I've been buying into early access editions for awhile now. They still have PC and whatnot to which doesn't have as many Gamepass subscribers. The fact that you can upgrade the game from Gamepass for only 10 bucks is a huge service I've never seen seen before. So if it isn't worth 10 bucks to you then it's not play Sept 6. You weren't robbed is my point. You get to play day one or pay 10 bucks for the version a lot of people are paying 80 to 120 for.

Re: Starfield's Early Access Release Times Have Already Been Revealed

Fragslayer

@BacklogBrad well it is by rights. There is almost ALWAYS a premium edition of AAA games that allow early access which usually comes with the 120 dollar edition. That being said Xbox is allowing you to only pay 10 which NO OTHER company would allow. I have had Gamepass/Xbox Live since the OG Xbox and it's a sweet thing to allow. I paid retail for the game just to get the Constellation edition and probably would have either way. The fact that your getting early access for the low price of 10 is a win, take it.

Re: As Work On Xbox Version Continues, Baldur's Gate 3 Is Now The Highest-Rated Game Of 2023

Fragslayer

@Fenbops well it's there own fault that they think all of us are idiots. I could have accepted it if they came out and said Sony has got timed exclusivity. I could be wrong but words from articles or people alike wouldn't be enough proof for me. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what's happening Sony needed a answer to Starfield and paid another 3rd party dev to achieve it. It's Steam Deck verified now and with split screen play. So basically they are saying the S is now on par with the Switch. The same EXACT devs that said the S is not holding the industry back it just takes a little extra time to optimize it. I don't consider split screen play optimization. No way that's anymore a difficult feat on the S than it is the XBSX, PS5 or the Steam Deck. I believe the date says September 2nd now on my PS5 I'll have to double check. Normally this wouldn't bother me at all I just don't think we are getting the whole story and that I don't appreciate. Especially when Larian is being applauded for transparency.

Re: Talking Point: Should Xbox Make A Revised Controller With Haptic Feedback?

Fragslayer

Yeah I dunno man to many people saying leave it alone. I gotta say the haptics are sweet I don't understand the logic here. Yes hall effect sensors but I want both not just one. I don't know if it's Xbox only players saying no or what but as a owner of all the consoles I really want Xbox to get on haptics ASAP. I would have skipped the PS5 but the controller sold me I've always disliked the dual shock but the sense is on point. The haptics add another sense of immersion for example in Death Stranding your fingers get tired as he walks these long elevated and uneven distances. Guns feel more like guns ect. Flat out saying no is a major loss for Xbox and I'm wondering why you all would want that. Maybe keep everyone happy and just add haptics to the Pro V3 it can sit next to my V1 and V2. Or simply let users toggle it.

Re: High On Life No Longer Xbox Exclusive As 'High On Knife' DLC Nears Release

Fragslayer

@shoeses @Rafie Yeah I know what you mean as I own all the consoles. To be fair though these disclaimers are a front and FF7 Remake CLEARLY said 1 year. Normally it would be on Square but in this case it's because of Sony that the deal stays the way it is. So that disclaimer is absolutely useless at that point and not transparent at all. Which was probably part of the deal so conversations about it stick to what your saying. FF16 my favorite topic, you wanna know where I saw my first footage of it? On a Xbox showcase not Playstation. @Shoeses I love your enthusiasm but I'd curb it a bit of you think FF16 will be on Xbox in a year. As I stated above some of the first ever footage of the game was on a Xbox showcase and announced for Xbox. Somewhere along the line something happened and that changed. What reasons I have heard who knows what the actual truth is. Saying Xbox can't afford the rights suddenly after some kind a deal was already struck seems off. My guess is they changed the deal to some astronomical number that isn't fair or worth the IP with a nudge from Sony. Sucks that happened to Xbox only users AFTER it was announced to be on the platform at launch. My advice to you is don't buy their games they will regret thier choices in the end, Xbox is becoming a powerhouse. It's up to you to spank them and let them know this behavior isn't acceptable unless of course Sony pulls out they're wallet and buys them in which case I accept it 100%.

Re: Best Xbox RPGs

Fragslayer

@ActionPanther Yes and before I die would be nice.... I appreciate the new IP that is Starfield but I'm not so sure that it'll be worth the cost. The cost being at least a decade before ever seeing 1 of those Bethesda titles. Sure we can all jump to their defence and make predictions that'll it'll be 5 years but I myself doubt it. Maybe not a full decade but it'll be close. Plus I'm curious what happens to Fallout after Todd leaves? He has stated the next Elder Scrolls will be his last game. Fable, yes we finally saw something but again no real date. The only things I trust to see soon is OW2 and Avowed. New Vegas 2 would make my day (life) but I'd like a full high production Remake first. For one the game deserves it we could munch on it while we wait for 2. Also it will introduce it to the new age of gamers who expect a more modern experience. If they can fix the clipping issues to them great if not I still don't care, make it happen.

Re: Halo's Joe Staten Provides Update Following 343 & Microsoft Layoffs

Fragslayer

@Floki Yeah I agree, Id isn't the one I dont think. If this was a decade ago I'd say yes now definitely not. If they keep it in-house lets pray they don't let Activision get it if they do aquire it. I'd rather Respawn give it a go then them. Actually im editing this post I think Respawn would be a great choice period. If MS would back them and beef them up to take it on I don't think I'd be concerned.

Re: Halo's Joe Staten Provides Update Following 343 & Microsoft Layoffs

Fragslayer

@Baler I have to agree there ive NEVER not completed a Halo Campaign. Infinite is the 1st one I did not... Halo is and always has been defined by its world building (& story) and level design. Open world just doesn't work I actually enjoyed Halo 4 that was a "masterpiece" compared to this crap. Even Halo 5 I forced myself to finish the Campaign. But the person is entitled to that opinion if they enjoyed the open world aspect then I say to each they're own. Best thing 343 has done is the remaster collection and 4 I believe Bungie still worked on with them so that dont even count (if im correct). I pray they find new jobs I really do thats a bummer but Halos been a disappointment since they have had the wheel. Im not a MP junkie like the rest of the world/generation destroying my hobby but I do/did LOVE Coop in Halo and they botched that to. So good luck to all you guys and gals I pray for your families im sure your good devs you'll find a new home. You just couldn't seem to grasp what Halo was and tried to make it your's.
