Skull & Bones is actually coming out next month after what feels like a never-ending development period for the high-seas adventure, and Ubisoft has now gone ahead and detailed its launch plans - including an open beta for Xbox.

All Xbox Series X|S players will be able to try Skull & Bones for themselves on February 8th, with the open beta wrapping up on February 11th. Better yet, progression carries over to the full release - so if you're planning on grabbing the game anyway then testing the beta seems like a no-brainer!

Skull & Bones Xbox Beta Announced As Ubisoft Details Year-One Roadmap

Clearly, Ubisoft is also planning for Skull & Bones to stick around for a while. As you can see in the trailer up above, the team has plenty of endgame content already packed into the title - along with plans for post-launch support via its year-one roadmap.

Anyway, Skull & Bones finally washes ashore for Xbox Series X|S on February 16th, 2024 - after the best part of a decade in development.
