@Lup the map of the first game really sucks. They improved the maps of Survivor, but still could be better. Aside from that it's a great game and I'm looking for the sequel

I've decided to count all the games I have and they sit around 815 games through all platforms. Add to that the 500+ games from GPU sub. I really have more than enough to play...

I don't have any specific dreams, just keep delivering games of all kinds. I just love how Xbox now has different genres coming out in a good rhythm (Starfield, Hellblade, Avowed, Indy, Forza, COD, Pentiment, As Dusk Falls and the list goes on)
I don't want a Nintendo or Sony game like many folks here desperately want. We already have the other platforms for that.

I've just finished Star Wars Jedi Survivor today, bought the licence for Dolby Atmos, charged my headphones, pre-installed Hellblade 2 and I'll be playing some Forza until tomorrow. Happy gaming folks!

I'm hearing Xbox is dying since the days of the OG Xbox (even when surpassed Windows in revenue). There's news about Xbox death every week. I'll wait until it actually dies.

My feeling is that the gamer community as a whole is becoming worse. I guess I'm going to leave the internet for a while and only play my games. I come here everyday to see articles about games (reviews, new games coming and stuff) but gaming media has become something else and the articles I appreciate are becoming scarce.

@ConsoleGamer86 actually you cannot accumulate a Gamepass subscription more than 3 years, so... (or maybe you bought a lot of giftcards to be prepared for a zombie apocalypse).
All this talk and articles again and again about xbox closing this and that, industry crashing, the end of games in the world and stuff...can we just play games and comment about games themselves? (we all know neither of us haven't finished our backlog yet)
If MS eliminates Xbox from earth tomorrow I'll play on a PS, if PS ends I'll play on Switch and then on PC, on mobile and whatever platforms available. Games are toys and only that, when a toy breaks we buy another, simple as that.
That's why the articles "What are you playing this weekend?" have so few comments, the so-called 'gamers' are more worried reading news than playing. Nice gaming folks!

I'd definitely buy one if it's a dedicated hardware not a streaming device like PS Portal.

First, Sony closes London Studio, Japan Studio and Media Molecule.
Now, MS closes Tango, Roundhouse, Arkane Austin and Alpha Dog.
I'll just keep playing while I can, before everything consolidates into FIFA, COD and Fortnite. My backlog is so big atm that I have more games left than days of life.

@NarutosBiggestFan I respect your opinion and many roguelikes I've played seemed just like you described die and restart the same stuff.
What I feel different in Hades is that after you die the whole game advances (gameplay and story). So even when I was restarting the run I felt progress and not that I was stuck in a hamster wheel.

I'm excited to play Eiyuden Chronicles after I beat the first one this January. Also Have a nice death is a good looking fast-paced metroidvania that I want to try

@awp69 because of indie pass I've played indie games like Outriders and Guardians of the Galaxy from that small publisher Square Enix. Also other small games like Hitman Trilogy, GTA V, Alan Wake and Control, Starfield, Yakuza (almost the whole franchise), mass effect, dead space and much much more. All of them with the quality of a game boy for sure. Long live Indie Pass!

Gamepass, the games are good, quick resume and backwards compatibility. Also I think the community around Xbox is better.
Nowadays my PlayStation and my switch are exclusives machines only.

Since I started following Pure Xbox the trolls just keep coming. There was a spider dude the other day, then the train guy, the racoon buddy and now the alien one. They create a new account and start commenting the same stuff in every article. Now it's time to read "Helldivers 2, blah blah blah" until their mamas call them to get out of the basement and they delete the account again.

Good additions. Of the 3 games that are returning to GP I couldn't finish 2 of them - Maneater and Bloodstained. So now it's my chance.
I've really enjoyed Indivisible when it was on Gamepass for the first time but good luck for those playing it, the final boss it's just damn hard.

And as someone who doesn't care about games I've already played almost 2 decades ago think otherwise and that's ok for both of us. Different opinions and tastes. By the way, if you haven't played Zestiria, Symphonia and Vesperia I strongly recommend you to do so.

@ShadowofTwilight I respectfully disagree. I think Gamepass won this month because Persona 3 reload (day one) and Tales of Arise is a better offer and a better combination of JRPG's than Arise and the 3 other Tales from 2004, 2008 and 2015.

In my opinion there'll be just one or two games going multiplat and that's it. (I know I know I can be surprised next week)

But my opinion about all those rumors is that MS shouldn't be everyday admitting or denying rumours on Twitter from those 'insiders' (and now some of them are admitting they exaggerated and made mistakes). Why? Because the midia takes everything MS say and use in a bad way so why give them more ammo to new rumours? It's rumours feeding from other rumours and then suddenly the fans start going crazy. On the other hand I've seen many people here just saying to calm down and wait until something from MS, not from 'leakers'.

Do I believe MS should be more straightforward in communicating with the fans? Absolutely! Sometimes they're too much vague. I'd love to hear they saying today what will and won't be exclusive for the next generation. But I understand their stand as exclusivity is the main point the regulators try to criticize and block MS actions in the market. Or anyone here believe that if MS said all games would be exclusive they wouldn't be called a monopoly and the acquisitions blocked? (Bethesda and ABK acquisitions prove my point).

On the other hand, to see the distinction, when everything from Insomniac leaked the white knights (or blue?) came out and said "We shall pretend this doesn't exist because Sony doesn't deserve this" (even when they're planning to split Spider-Man 3 in three parts to charge more from the players). Why people don't start asking Sony to come out and confirm or deny these bad practices?

I have the three consoles, love to play them all, but I'm not blind with all the different treatment they receive from the midia.

It doesn't matter the studio this is always a sad situation.
On the other hand, the business side of the leak is interesting, knowing that Spiderman 2 made 'only' $75 million of profit after costing $315 million to produce. X-Men game is on the way, releasing on PS and PC, although it looks like a GaaS model and all characters will be completely exclusive.

It's one of the best features of this gen. I miss quick resume when playing on PS or Switch.

Splinter cell will be completely unplayable like the crew or just the multiplayer?

@Tanuki_Bob not ALL the criticisms are because of exclusivity, I agree with you. Like every game it had pros and cons. But definitely some of its problems would be overlooked if it was a PS or a Nintendo exclusive.
People just forget Spiderman 2 had bugs, crashes and a poor story. Also forget that Zelda Totk had violent frame drops many times.
If the gaming industry was a game itself there would be different difficulties to play:
Nintendo (Very Easy): Your games get a +10 score using the power of nostalgia.
Sony (Easy): Your games get +8 score if it has more cutscenes than gameplay or if it's a "sad dad simulator".
PC (Normal): Your games run better than any other but the midia will never look to it if you don't release on consoles.
Xbox (Hard): Your games get a -10 score it doesn't matter what you do. You have a trillion dollar company backing you up so you'll attract hate.

It'll be exclusive. But just like Starfield MS will remain silent for now so the midia and PS players keep talking about the game, with hopes up of a PS release and later when discovering the exclusivity they will criticize the game, Phil, Bethesda and MS. The story repeats itself

@themightyant Same here. I was trying to finish before it leaves but after 25 hours and not even finishing the Act I of III I'm going to buy it.

If there's one thing gamepass has taught me is to be glad these small and different indie games keep coming. And there'll be AAA games during the next year, we don't need to worry.
I was once a ''AAA player only' but after gamepass I play more games and from different genres. Many of them became favorites. Can't wait to play Open Roads
