Re: Dying Light 2's Day One Patch Aims To Fix Long List Of Issues

Epux_fhouwuo

I am well aware that gaming companies send their game inn for a review prosses where they check the game before alowing it to be relesed on a platform, but there sould be systems in place where they thoroughly go over the game to ckeck for bugs/gliches making sure they dont have to pach it later before they send the game inn.

It is to common nowadays with day one patches and updates after the game is relesed, back in the PS2, Gamecube days they did not do this (and they could not do it) they had to relese a game without too manny gliches and bugs if they did the games and their company got a bad reputation.

I am also well awere that there is a huge diffrence between PS2/Gamecube games and PS5/XBOX SERIES X games and that they need more of everything to make a game now compared to around 2001, but there is obviously somthing wrong with how the game industry thinks about this topic, for me its like if a movie company relesed a movie that have stutter, small audio/ visual gliches here and there and scenes in the movie that abruptly stops or have bloopers in sted of the finished scenes, there would be no one that would defend them and say "making movies is hard, this is just the way tings are"

There need to be a more comprehensive testing prosses before they alowed themself to submitt the game to platform holders for review, they rely to much on the possibility to pach it later and the game sould be 100% finished before they even think about sending it for review.

And i dont care about Dying Light 2 at all, its just sad to se how normal it is to relese games and send out paches later to fix game breaking bugs, i mean small gliches that dont break the game/***** up the visuals/audio or wipes your save file can be fun, and thats what i mean by finishing the game, get rid of anything that breaks the game before relesing it.

Re: Bungie Confirms Destiny And Future Games Will Still Be On Xbox

Epux_fhouwuo

Q. Bungie has future games in development, will they now become PlayStation exclusives?
No. We want the worlds we are creating to extend to anywhere people play games. We will continue to be self-published, creatively independent, and we will continue to drive one, unified Bungie community.

Interesting, i see this statnent in a few ways:

1. This is part of a shift that Playstation and Xbox is part of where they will share more games between platforms and they are going beyond the console puplishing games on more devices to broaden their reach with the games they produce.
2. This is just to calm everyone down until the deal is finalized and after it is done, the games will become exlusive to the Playstation platform.
3. Same as the discord with the activision acquisition, that existing games on the Xbox platform will be there (Destiny 2) and free to play games (maybe Destiny 3?) But any new IPs will become exlusive.

Either way it is interesting witnessing this trend/shift in the gaming industry.

Re: Talking Point: 10 Days Later, How Are You Feeling About The Activision Blizzard Acquisition?

Epux_fhouwuo

I am exited by the possibility of new IPs and new entries in franchises like crash bandicoot, spyro the dragon and guitar hero when Microsoft buys Activision ( If everything goes acording to plan and the acquisition goes through ) and that they will come to Gamepass.

I feel like this is a huge shift in the gaming industry and it would have been exiting to me even if it was the other way around and it was Playstation that had made the deal.

Re: Ubisoft Thinks Players Just "Don't Get" NFTs

Epux_fhouwuo

  • "And our belief is that, piece by piece, the puzzle will be revealed and understood by our players. We hope they will better understand the value we offer them." -

You mean: We are going to implement NFTs into games whether you like it or not, hoping that there will not be to much pushback, and thats why we are starting small to ease the transition.
Remember this is a good thing besause we belive that this will be highly profitable for us, we sell you a Game or DLC and you can get something back on your investment if you choose to resell it, and of course the best thing about this system is that we get a large cut of the money when you do so!

We are incredebly exited by the monetization possibilities of NFTs and hope to implement this system as fast as possible, the beginning was DLC, microtransactions and Loot crates, the future is NFTs!

Re: Techland Reveals Post-Launch Roadmap For Dying Light 2

Epux_fhouwuo

Whatever happened to releasing finished AAA games πŸ˜“ this is translated to me as: We are releasing the game early and in 5 years it will be compleated! Plese give us money so we can compleat the game...please :3.

If they really are going to "support" this SINGELPLAYER game for 5 years! Why not delay the game even more and finish it, or maybe the game has enough "content" right now and dont really need any more.

They could have used the energy they are usig on DLC to make a new game.

Re: Xbox Exec Responds To Being Criticised For 'Trolling' PlayStation Fans On Twitter

Epux_fhouwuo

I understand that he is a microsoft employee and everything he does on sosial media will be scrutinize, but why should it not be accepted for them to have a profile picture of what they want/like ( i am talking about all companys playstation,Nintendo, xbox ect.) What if he was a massive fan of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn or Nathan Drake from Uncharted, and wanted to use a profile picture of them?

There might be "something" behind the decision to use that profile picture now, or it might just be because a fan made the picture and he liked it and are a fan of Crash Bandicoot.

Re: Here's A Look At How Much Xbox Game Studios Has Grown Since 2017

Epux_fhouwuo

@BAMozzy That sounds amazing but i just remembered that Halo Infinite actually also had suport studios similar to call of duty, i am sure this is a common practise with game development but we genarally only hear about the main studio.

Wikipedia: Halo Infinite was developed by 343 Industries with assistance from SkyBox Labs, Sperasoft, The Coalition, Certain Affinity and Atomhawk.

But then again Halo Infinite was a new direction for the series so that must have added to the overall production time and why they needed suport form other studios to relese the game faster, i think Halo Infinite was in production for 3-5 years.

So if they are going to have one main studio developing Call of duty from now then they need to do 2 things:
Hire a lot more people to that studio and have a longer development time with Call of duty, maybe 3-4 years.

I just hope Microsoft changes up COD so the Activition studios have the possibility to make other games.

@LtSarge You bring up a really god point with GTA and the elder scrolls, i think if they change up the release schedule of COD the really hardcore fans will og crazy with negativity at least in the beginnig and over time they might accept it. With more time between each game the developers could suport the existing game a little more with uppdates over a longer period and get a little more breathing room between games, generating more hype for the next one.

I think it could be healthy for the series

Re: Here's A Look At How Much Xbox Game Studios Has Grown Since 2017

Epux_fhouwuo

@K1LLEGAL I am actually hoping that when the deal goes trough and Microsoft owns Activition that they relese a new Call of duty every 3 year ( or maybe even every 4th year) and the studios go on rotation.
Meaning they have one studio working on the game, with maybe one other studio suportig, its getting a little rediculus with with the number of studios used for one game.

Call of duty Vanguard:

Treyarch developed the Zombies mode of the game. Additional work by Beenox, Demonware, High Moon Studios, Activision Shanghai Studio, Toys for Bob and Sumo Digital

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 22-23)

Epux_fhouwuo

I am in the prosess of playing through Metroid Dread for the second time and i am enjoying the game more than this time around, i was a little frustrated by the E.M.M.I's ( Robot enemies ) mostly besause i was to impatient.

I also think i will play some Call of duty: Vanguard multiplayer, i am working my way up to get Petrova and i think i have around 140 kills out of 200 with a sniper now πŸ‘

And maybe if i am not to lazy i will also play some Ring Fit Adventure.
