@huroma it’s more than that. It’s incredibly profitable for me and them. I save so much money avoiding awful games like weird west. It’s raf deflecting that nobody wanted weird west. Raf sucked the life out of Arkane Austin leaving with the main talent and thus gave us red fall. Everything from raf is deranged now.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner these people that are coming up on the news that are criticizing Microsoft gaming are deranged people. Services are becoming more digital things like GameStop are becoming less relevant. So the profit margin that you have to share with Sony when it’s a digital game is the exact same as GameStop.

You shouldn’t listen to someone that was so deranged that they left the company they found founded because the company they sold it to wanted to change the name of the project. Then, after all of that, blames the company he sold it to for shutting it down after he took himself out of it and the main talent.

I really don’t appreciate this obvious interest in creating pessimism and negativity in the in the community. This is something where the side you’re on is going to be on the top on every platform and you’re complaining. Just be happy with what you have instead of what other people’s got. You literally are getting it for free even if you aren’t subscribed and you’re complaining. It’s something nice.

My honest impression is that I find it absurd with the amount of money Sony has lost investing into live service while remaining the most profitable company by revenue every year. They lost 3.6 investing into bungie, like half a billion on concord and who knows with the amount of wasted man hours and money that went into the last of us multiplayer that bungie told Sony to scrape.

I’m not interested at all now ngl. I think it’ll flop, not as hard as concord, but still a pretty damn hard fall. I’m sensing bungie layoffs again. Someone save me from this pessimistic perspective I have

I totally disagree with the author of this article. Ubisoft used deceptive language when saying only aspects of the game and not virtually everything.

Do you think companies should have to sell off the publishing rights to their most successful franchise before they expand into a new market?

@themightyant they have seven big publishing brands for Game Pass that they did not have before in 2019. They have Xbox Bethesda Activision and blizzard that they bought. And they’re renting out EA, riot and Ubisoft. That’s all very expensive. There was a lot of garbage games on it before they made these large acquisitions and deals.
