Re: Delta Force Dev Announces Plans For Lots More Xbox Features And FPS Improvements

Balie3000

@InterceptorAlpha I'm not talking about the original game. I'm saying that the 2025 Black Hawk Down campaign can be played coop on pc. Now why didn't that feature make it over to consoles? I have read some online discourse and I'm not the only person that has an issue with that.

You can't justify a feature of the pc version not making it over to the console version.

And yea, I played the OG campaign many times back in the day when I was a kid. It was perfectly playable solo because the enemy AI was bad and they couldn't shoot straight.

Re: Three Classic 'Monolith' Games That Are Backwards Compatible On Xbox

Balie3000

@NintendoByNature Hell no! Start from the beginning, with FEAR 1. I also highly recommend the FEAR 1 expansions. They are unfortunately not FPS boosted on the Series X, but still very good to play. FEAR 1 and 2 run at 60fps and play really well. Only then play FEAR 3 if you must, but it isn't any good. Hope I saved a soul here...

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of Eternal Strands On Xbox Game Pass?

Balie3000

Gorgeous visuals, I must say. I mean during the daytime, it's one of the prettiest games I've seen in a while, from an art direction point of view. The big monster slaying is also a lot of fun, but everything in between is very average and can get tedious. Too many systems in the game. Could have benifited from being a bit more streamlined. And losing 80% of your resources (that you've been collecting for the last hour) upon death must absolutely get in the bin.

Re: Roundup: Here's What Critics Think Of New Game Pass Title Sniper Elite: Resistance

Balie3000

The Sniper Elite games are peak AA that are just a blast to play. I'm not too fazed that it's more of the same because it's quality stuff and it's on Gamepass. Excellent, beautifully designed, giant sandbox levels to sneak around in and shoot some Nazis. What more could you really ask for? 😄

Having said that, I think this is the last of the current formula they can get away with. The next game will have to evolve in a big way, and maybe even move away from WW2?

Re: Indiana Jones And The Great Circle 'Glitch' Shows How The Game Would Look In Third-Person

Balie3000

Being a huge fan of the Tomb Raider and Uncharted games, it just makes more sense to make this type of adventure game in 3rd person. The brawling in 1st person is truly silly and would've looked better with some nice 3rd person animations, as well as all the platforming. I mean they did such a fantastic job with Indiana Jones' model... would've been nice to actually see it in action. And you can still have 1st person close-ups to admire specific detail, like what Uncharted did.
