Would be great if the article could mention potential licensing issues. Wouldn't be the first game to be delisted and if it's a licensing issue, then Microsoft can't do anything about it.
If this is in fact true, then I hope the game will be on sale again before it gets delisted. Would be a bit annoying to delist it at full price while it seems to be on sale on a regular basis (almost always 75% off, according to Deku Deals). But we'll see.
@themightyant sorry for the very late reply and thank you! I ended up getting the achievements that I was close to Tuesday afternoon (CET) to be on the safe side. Fortunately I beat the game the weekend before.
@Dezzy70, I'm sure they will after some time, but I feel (not actual proof) that 3rd party games that drop on day 1 at GamePass (and are marketed) usually stay longer than one year. E.g. The Gunk was released 1.5 years ago and it seems like it's not leaving anytime soon. But of course, it's just a feeling from my side (but imo it would make sense).
Would be surprised if this version ended up being on GamePass. DLCs are usually not included, but only the base games. Would still be nice if you could just buy the upgrade directly.
@Kaloudz, agreed, but at least that's something you see coming. What's imo more annoying are games (looking at you Forza Horizon 5) that inform you about a big update just when you have an hour at the end of the day to play. And of course you can't play without the update.
@Kaloudz, was the same with Hot Wheels when it dropped on GamePass. Two versions in the mobile app, the one with Windows in the name got installed on my console (and obviously worked just fine).
@themightyant, nope, it seems like they have contracts in place that have been signed. So not "just words". But of course, we don't know what the contracts actually say.
What exclusivity deal? Nintendo owns Astral Chain and finances the development of Bayonetta.
Both Sol Cresta and The Wonderful 101 were released on other platforms as Switch too. Both are on PC. Shouldn't be that difficult to port them to XBox.
Of course XBox doesn't get Astral Chain and Bayonetta 3, why would it? Astral Chain was developed together with Nintendo and now the IP even belongs 100% to Nintendo. While the Bayonetta IP belongs to Sega, 2+3 only exist because of Nintendo.
But they definitely could've released The Wonderful 101 on XBox too.
XBox was probably not allowed to promote it due to the exclusivity, so not having heard anything until now doesn't really mean anything. I also can't imagine the game just shadow dropping. Microsoft needs every game they can get for the holidays, so everything they can get is better than what they currently have.

Still super annoyed about the lack of splitscreen. Dungeons is awesome in coop on one screen.

Re: Rumour: Ubisoft+ Set For April Xbox Launch, Featuring A Massive Lineup
Why would I subscribe for Ubisoft games when their games are heavily discounted not that long after the release?

Can anyone tell me when exactly (aka which time) those games are leaving?

Re: Xbox Game Pass Version Of 'Atomic Heart' Gets Huge Day One Update
@Cikajovazmaj, I didn't look into that, but it was a bit confusing and definitely could've been labeled better/clearer.

Re: Xbox's Phil Spencer Explains How Call Of Duty Will Work On Nintendo
Really clever move on Microsoft's side. Show's good will, calls out Sony on their bs and will give them additional revenue.
Doubt they games would be cloud versions of the actual games. CoD is also on mobile platforms, so Switch won't be an issue.
Re: Todd Howard On Starfield's Xbox Exclusivity: 'It's Just Awesome'
I mean, what else do you want him to say? It's horrible and the game will look awful?
And of course it's "easier"/better when you can focus on less platforms (from a developer's point of view).

@Feffster, @FcnBlanc, October 13 (aka tomorrow when the next festival playlist goes live). November 13 is wrong (plus, it's not a Thursday this year).
