Re: Talking Point: What Should Xbox Do To Celebrate Its 25th Anniversary Next Year?

New Xbox consoles or new Series X/S refresh, more multiplatform day 1 parity with PS5/Switch, not getting skipped by Japanese & Asian publishers, price drop for Xbox series to boost consoles sales, ask Sony to stop doing timed exclusives with 3rd party devs (too many big AAA skipped Xbox at launch because of Sony, we Xbox gamers need to wait for 5 years for FF7 remake to come to Xbox), ask Sony to port all their first party hits to Xbox because Xbox also give first party games to PS5 (fair trade), possibly ask Nintendo to port some of their games too (Xbox give some Xbox hits to switch, now it's time to return the favor by porting smaller games like Fire Emblem, Bayonetta 2&3, Astral Chain, and others), and announced commitment to revive older IPs like Banjo/Conker because Xbox first party need varieties not just shooters, racing, RPGs; we need old platformer nostalgia too, and lastly revive perfect dark; it's huge shame they cancelled it

Looks like everyday is a bad news for Xbox. They always said that Xbox is dead, but here we are. Xbox still live and well, as long as lifetime Xbox doesn't sell <20 million Microsoft will not stop making Xbox consoles. Xbox is here to stay will always be PS5 alternative, Xbox publishers support this generation is much better than Xbox One too. Believe in Xbox everyone

Re: Final Fantasy Dev Insists The Future Is Bright For Square Enix Games On Xbox

I think it's hard for Square-Enix to release FF7 remake trilogy and FF16 due to exclusivity contracts, Microsoft acknowledged the deal (FTC leak) as games that won't come to Xbox in unknown period of time (highly likely until PS5 generation ended).
However Xbox has another chance with other publishers like partnering with Atlus to bring Persona series to Xbox, and now partnering with Koei Tecmo to finally bring Atelier series to Xbox.
I know Persona & Atelier won't beat Final Fantasy, but hey better than nothing at all. At least Xbox try and acknowledge that their platforms getting skipped many times by Japanese publishers, Xbox also got skipped by many Chinese publishers & indie developers. Well Xbox still has many homeworks to do well in Asian region

Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About 2024 On Xbox So Far?

Huge disappointment, they released more games on PS5 & Switch than their own console (Xbox). More Japanese games also skipping Xbox, Square-Enix still skipping Xbox with Romancing Saga 2 Remake, FF 7 Rebirth & FF16 (their timed exclusivity already ended & no Xbox), more publishers skipping Xbox e.g. Capcom with Marvel vs Capcom, Bandai Namco with Gundam Breaker 4, NIS with Legend of Heroes & Ys still skipping Xbox. Terrible year so far, Hellblade 2 also a disappointment

Re: Talking Point: Will Certain PlayStation & Nintendo Games Eventually Come To Xbox?

From PS: Helldivers 2; Marathon; MLB; Spider-Man 1, 2, Miles, Wolverine (if PS forced to make them multiplat by Marvel). Other than that I don't think they will port other games, exception is flop Japan studios game like Gravity Rush; however PS doesn't care about Gravity Rush. And Japan studio was already closed for several years, so the IP is dead now.

From Nintendo: Astral Chain; Bayonetta 2, 3, Cereza; Tokyo Mirage Sessions; Xenoblade 1, 2, 3. Other Nintendo games no chance, I only list those because they are the worse selling Nintendo published games, some are flops like Tokyo Mirage, Cereza.
