It Looks Like Silent Hill 2 Remake Is About To Go Fully Multiplatform

Since the Silent Hill 2 remake graced PC and PS5 platforms last year, we've been eager to see if the Konami & Bloober Team collaboration would eventually come to Xbox - and just as the game is about to hit its one-year anniversary, we have some evidence to suggest that an Xbox port is near.

As shared by Rebs Gaming, the Silent Hill 2 official website seems to have added a couple more platform slots on the backend - which are of course still showing as blank right now on the public page. It's suggested that those two platform slots will become Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 when Sony's exclusivity window ends.

As for when this window ends, well, as we shared in our full guide on whether Silent Hill 2 will one day come to Xbox, the game's PS5 console exclusivity expires on October 8th, 2025. We could quite possibly hear of these new ports in the coming days as Bloober Team seemingly prepares to give the recent remake a second wind on Xbox and Switch 2.

The Silent Hill 2 remake was generally well-received last year following some initial skepticism upon the game's announcement - and after the success of Silent Hill F last month, it's looking like Konami will be on a bit of a roll with its famous — and long-dormant — horror franchise.
