Omg, I loved that dashboard so much! You could actually see themes and stuff. I got so annoyed when the NXE rolled out. Man, those were the days. And let’s not forget the old Xbox 360 intro... 360 really felt premium back then. I can still remember walking into Woolies to pickup my copy of Oblivion (Elder Scrolls) and the wireless adapter for Halo 3.

@Bmartin001 Why? Skyrim was awful and half ar*sed, and filled to the brim with bugs. Storyline wasn't exactly great either. Only reason it survived is because when Bethesda abandoned it, the mod community had to save it. Like when a baby gets abandoned at a doorstep and its up to whoever gets it to raise it? Exactly like that.

@InterceptorAlpha The 60FPS mod? I found it didn’t work correctly, and I had to keep re-enabling and disabling it each time I started the game. It would work great first time round, but when you leave and come back later, you have to do it all over again, it’s not permanent.

I wanted to try and play vanilla Skyrim again, but it’s infested with so many bugs and glitches I was forced to instal unofficial patches etc. Really wanted to get achievements, but don’t really have a choice now.

@Spaceman-Spiff Be thankful they’re even updating Bethesda games. We’re talking about a company who half a*ses games and leaves it down to the community to salvage the mess. Skyrim is a perfect example.

Dual wielding Needler’s in Halo 2 along with overcharged shields was the most deadly combination one could do.

@FraserG Oh Christ, I remember watching it for the first time, my jaw literally just dropped. Essentially just gave everyone the middle finger and near ended his career. I dread to know what they all thought and said behind the scenes.

Oh please no... Tiktok is actually cancer of the internet. My missus watches it non stop 24/7, and it’s just constant videos of teenagers doing dances, miming to stupid stuff, and weird text to speech stuff that isn’t really funny. Also, it annoys me how people on it don’t get docked for using copyrighted music, but places like YouTube are a completely different story.

@Tasuki Fortunately we have a product for people who can’t get some form of connectivity, it’s called Xbox 360.

Honestly, I’m surprised people even still watch Linus. I stopped watching him years ago after he became a complete sellout, using tacky clickbait thumbnail tactics, etc. I used to admire him back in his NCIX days, real nice guy. Go watch his older videos, watch today’s ones, and tell me you don’t see it too.

@Reverandjames My biggest issue with V, is the extremely toxic multiplayer. I haven’t really played the story as I’m not big on it to be honest, but when I tried playing online, everyone was so toxic, cheats being ran left right front centre, and just outright unappealing to play. I hope to whoever is making the next one implements some kind of anti-cheat system or something like VAC.

But what about Microsoft Points codes? Say if you had some old MS Points codes that never got used, how would they work? Do they expire, do they convert to cash, or outright not work?

Here’s my quick story. I had mine pre-ordered I GameStop Ireland not long after they started taking orders, and put down a €50 deposit. When the consoles were eventually released to the public, I waited day after day, checking my inbox hour after hour just waiting to see if I had got one. Eventually it got to a point where I got fed up waiting (first world problems, yeah.) and was contemplating buying an Xbox One X instead as they aren’t too far apart performance wise. So I took a trip to CeX and got hold of a second hand one which was ok, could of been in better condition what with all the scratches and markings, but it wasn’t the worst I had seen. And then here’s the part which made me wish I listened to my missus who told me to wait. Literally an hour after buying the One X, a good friend of mine who used to work in Currys called me to say they had about 8-12 of them all lined up that weren’t pre-orders, you could just walk in and grab one. I had never got up more quickly and drove to that store in my life, my heart was racing. So i got there within five minutes and they had 3 left. I go up to the cashier and asked if I could still purchase one, and he said he’ll check in case they aren’t pre-orders. He went away and came back, and sold it to me, and I walked out feeling like I had won the Lottery, haha. I had always wondered why ever since they had them all of a sudden, I jokingly said to my missus that they’re probably all defective ones, haha!

I wanted Fallout 4 GOTY, but bought it while it was on sale. Knowing my luck it’ll come on Game Pass shortly after or something.

I just checked Twitter at 9:13ish and someone had posed a screenshot of a live chat with Argos and said they sold out. I guess we missed it.
