It's not on the list, but Buffalo Bill's Lotion Application School was the game for me this month. It was very challenging, way more than I thought it would be. I kept getting the hose. I finally got through it. I played through the second time on new game plus and it unlocked a secret ending with Joe Dirt.
I just picked up 2 more of these. Well, I got the Diablo bundle at Target for $449 with the $75 gift card the other day. Then I heard about this deal and I know target price matches. So I went up there, did that and then as I was showing them the listing on the Walmart app, I added it to the cart so I could pick it up tomorrow. I decided to just go up there and see if they had them in stock. They had 4 of them on the shelf, so I got one and price matched thier app. So now I have 2 Diablo Series X bundles. That reminds me, on the box it says that Diablo 4 would be delivered during sign up. How do I get two copies of it if it's going to give me a digital version on my Microsoft account? Is it going to give me a code to give to someone else since it knows I already have one? They have to give it to me some way or another because I paid for it.
I have roughly 27,744,676,442,268,874,388,432,377,532,467,874 points. That's about 27 Novillion points. Sooo... I'm feeling generous, I think I'll buy one of...... everything..... for everyone.
Oh yeah, the code just wrote itself, uploaded itself to the server and then deployed itself as an update across the world to everyone all by itself. If so, the credits to a game would just say, "AI" and tons of people would be out of a job as well as a career, because apparently all of those positions can be done by one greedy ass AI. Good one Ubisoft. Did AI write the response as well?
I'm going to guess this wasn't included in the original terms of service of the game that the ads are showing on. This could be a violation of the contact and lead to lawsuits. This is also altering the software beyond updating it to fix bugs and add content, so there may be legal issues with that as well.
I still have all of my Xbox systems. That includes: 3 OG Xbox, 5 Xbox 360, 2 Xbox One X and a Series X. I got my OG Xbox day one. I worked at Microsoft at the time and I remember they had the Xbox games at the company store for $10. I just recently acquired my 1000th xbox game and have acquired 60 more since then.
I bet nobody eats the controller and keeps it with the set so they can sell it 30 years later for an insane amount of money. Then the person who buys it will eat the controller and get sick and die.
@Mephisto2869 I just call it how I see it. I don't keep up with who owns what or when what came out. I was just guessing. If you read what I did the other day to my Xbox collection you would know that I am anything but a fanboy and call out whoever I think is wrong and agree with whoever I think is right. I am not some weak ass slave to a corporation. I have actually worked for quite a few big tech companies including Microsoft and resigned from all of them because they are all full of s_h_i_t. It seems to me that you may be what you are calling a fan boy, because you seem determined to prove me wrong or to get me to agree with your opinion. I don't give 2 f_u_c_k_s about any of these companies and will never take sides based on brand. I do not like where any of technology is going lately, and I am voicing my disapproval. I may not be 100% educated or accurate with my statements either. I have a life and don't live on the internet. Like I said before, they have created a few new IP recently and acquired some as well. Again, does it matter how they got there as long as they got there? Bought or created, it's all the same. If they create new IP it will come from a studio under them which was probably purchased at some point anyways. What is the obsession with new IP anyways? Nintendo seems to be doing just fine without creating new IP and everyone loves them and isn't giving them a hard time about creating new IP. Why pick on Microsoft and Xbox? Any new IP Sony creates will probably fall under the same conditions that Microsoft has. They either purchased the studio that created the IP or they create the IP with the purchased studio. It doesn't really matter and all thinking about all of those technicalities does is complicate the matter and lessen the enjoyment of the whole situation. I just want good entertainment and I want to be a customer, not a product. Provide a reliable, good quality product with no strings attached and I'm happy. Anything less and I speak up.
@iplaygamesnstuff Get ready, the landscape of gaming is about to change drastically in all areas. If you don't like what happening, I suggest collecting current and past games and systems to keep enjoying gaming. Especially with cloud gaming and the irresponsibility of the companies with their handling of game preservation.
@iplaygamesnstuff I know that you didn't ask me this question, but I'll put in my two cents. I don't think that is a problem. That's exactly what is trying to be accomplished. It doesn't matter if you buy an Xbox, it doesn't matter what platform you are on. Microsoft wants you to have access to their ecosystem on any device. So I'm sure they would be just as happy that you were playing game pass on a PlayStation or an Xbox or a Switch or whatever. I think all they care about is that you're paying them a monthly fee to make them money and give you a good experience playing the games you want to play, where you want to play them. At least that's what they say.
@Mephisto2869 What is your criteria for being considered developed by Microsoft? Because you say they didn't develop any of those games and they don't count before the acquisitions. I think almost all Microsoft studios are acquisitions of some kind at some point. So I'm wondering how is it not considered developed by Microsoft if they own the company that developed it? At the same time people claim PlayStation is developing a lot of wonderful games, yet they are in the same boat. Those games were developed under studios that were acquired by them at some point. Double standard. Like I said before it doesn't matter how they get there, it's that they get there. Whatever needs to happen to bring great games to people on whatever platform is all that matters.
@Sakai Well, I didn't actually get around to selling it. If you read what I posted the other day, you will find out the fate of my Xbox collection. Until my Microsoft account sells, I am utilizing my game pass ultimate subscription and streaming games on my laptop using a friends controller.
@Kaloudz Been trying to figure that out for my whole life. My Dad says he's my Dad and my Mom says he's my Dad, but I don't believe them. My combination of traits cannot occur from my parents genetics. I am more than likely adopted and they just won't tell me. My guess is that they found me in the trash can at the gas station, but that just may be a false memory.
@electrolite77 I would abandon the ecosystem if they stop making hardware. Actually I've already pretty much abandoned the ecosystem because of ads. But if the ads thing didn't happen, it would be if they abandon hardware. That's where I draw the line. I'm not going to participate in the gaming industry if they take away physical software and hardware. I already have enough hardware and software to last me the rest of my life, so I really don't care if they come out with anything new at this point.
@Mephisto2869 Starfield, Avowed, Redfall, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Hi-Fi Rush. I'm sure there are a lot more that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
@Kevw2006 It doesn't matter how you get there as long as you get there. Anyways, it seems like Nintendo is 100% stale, PlayStation has a few new ideas and Microsoft is buying up everything and at least trying with new ideas and IP.
@Dr_ENT My hand and my common sense won't let me get used to the PlayStation controller. It has been absolutely ergonomically incorrect since the Dual Shock 1 was hacked together to complete with Nintendo.
@Dan1283 I agree that Sony makes some good games but not the best. Nintendo on the other hand, keeps re-releasing the same games over and over and over, just updating them. They have been milking the same series and IP since the beginning. Seriously are they incapable of coming up with something new and creative. How many Mario Kart, Mario Party and Mario whatever games do we need. No first party makes the best games anyways. If you want my opinion, I think the next gen or the one after that, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo will be 100% in the cloud with no hardware. You will just load up the apps on your Smart TV, Roku, Apple TV, PC, phone, tablet, etc. I'm sure it will be where you can still purchase digital games or subscribe to a service like it is now. You will just connect your favorite controller and stream away. That is what I want no part of until they rewrite the ownership rules/laws of digital media and guarantee access and preservation as well.
@Mephisto2869 Now why would they do that when PlayStation and Nintendo are pretty much just a bunch of loser clowns at this point and neither one of them can be trusted any longer. Xbox is about to demolish the competition without even trying. I say that while I am currently upset with Micorsoft and the ads situation on Xbox.
@ebony-shabba It's all irrelevant now. I purposely rubbed all of my disc games on the concrete, stepped on all of the cases and then let them soak in the pool all night to ruin the artwork. Then I drove that soggy mess up to Gamestop and dropped them off so they can deal with them. Then I took all of my xbox hardware outside and smashed it on the street and then ran over whatever I could afterwards with my car. My Microsoft account is now for sale with over 500 xbox games on it if anyone is interested. Screw Microsoft for becoming worse than Google, Apple and Sony. I'M OUT!!!! --- Drops mic --- Haha.
P.S. This site is just a bunch of ads for Xbox anyways. Its no different than the xbox dashbaord lately.
I think Phil should worry about building trust with the customers and that doesn't happen by converting paid for hardware and software into ad supported behind the customers backs. Bait and switch doesn't work.
