The only reason some are saying it was bad is because of Playstation’s rep for GOTY contending exclusives an there weren’t many. We know for a fact we have Ghost of Tsushima 2, Wolverine, KOTOR, Death Stranding 2, TLOU Factions, FF16, Silent Hill 2, etc. I’d rather Sony held back than build up our hopes with footage an release dates only to be delayed! Everyone complains that Microsoft did that with Xbox upcoming exclusives! We got Spiderman 2, Marathon, FF16, Metal Gear, the Metal Gear compilation, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Phantom Blade Zero which looks very good. I thought it was decent, not incredible but decent an i’m still hyped for the stuff we know about! If Xbox’s is as good i’ll be happy, surely gonna see Starfield an Forza, other stuff i’m not so sure.

@Lup i think ya wrong. Look how far in front Red Dead 2 is to GTA5!!

I honestly think GTA6 will be like nothing we’ve ever seen. GTA5 was fantastic, still holds it’s own but look how far ahead Red Dead 2 is. The number of things you can do an you can interact with anyone. The way people remember you and ya build a reputation. GTA6 will be well worth the wait. My only worry is the size!! I bet we’re looking at close to 200 gig!!

Never played Forza MS, Series X is my first Xbox. Is it similar to Gran Turismo? Love GT7, i do love Forza H 5 but prefer the realism of GT7.

@Stoned_Patrol Final Fantasy being Playstation exclusive is nothing to do with Sony. Square Enix said the work releasing the games to Xbox doesn’t justify the sales. They’re happy with Playstation sales as Playstation has a far bigger player base.

PS4 sold so well because of games like The Last of Us Part 2, God of War, Uncharted 4, Spiderman, Miles, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, etc. This is Playstation’s main selling point, PS5 an Series X are pretty identical on all other fronts. More people go with Playstation for the games. Seen literally hundreds of people say so on here, Pushsquare an social media.

@NeoRatt i get ya point but these are my fav type of games, i’d like Xbox to make a few!! There’s the upcoming Naughty Dog online game set in TLOU world so that might be different for a PS exclusive game.

@NeoRatt Playstation exclusives are also universally great games, that’s what Xbox needs!! Games like TLOU 1 an 2, Uncharted 4, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman, etc.
Spiderman 2 will 💯 be a GOTY contender, we already know this. Starfield, we live in hope.

I think Spiderman 2 will be Starfield’s competition. Starfield is Xbox big exclusive of the year, Spiderman 2 is Playstation’s. Spiderman had record breaking sales an reviews, Starfield is new. Insomniac have said they want it to be the best game they ever made! An Venom’s in it!!

@Deshalu most people who buy an Xbox sub to Game Pass. Console sales bring Game Pass sales. Playstation massively outsells Xbox, PS+ has more subscribers than Xbox Game Pass.

@DKGXX85 i don’t worry, i’d play Series X either way if it’s on Game Pass. Just think it’d be a dumb move to spend all that money then cut off 75% of your biggest games customers.

@Deshalu @Deshalu their plan wouldn’t work. There is only one reason Playstation outsells Xbox the way it does, Playstation exclusive games. If MS got Activision and if they made COD exclusive Playstation is still way in front. And like i said, MS would lose 70% of it’s COD sales. It’d no longer be the biggest selling game.

@awp69 they already did in the 360 days wen the player base was similar. Now Playstation’s player base is far bigger so devs wanna do deals with Sony not MS.

@Bleachedsmiles i’d say nowadays majority of gamers have at least 2 systems. I have Series X an PS5, my kids have Series S an Switch.

It’s not bad, bout a 6.5/10. It’s about as good as i expected it to be. I don’t know why they hyped it up so much. It was never gonna be a 9+/10. I just hope Starfield isn’t being overhyped an is average at best. That would be tragic for Xbox!

Age of Empires is old, Flight Sim is a PC game since the 80’s, HiFi Rush is ok. Not a Minecraft fan but kids love it. Whilst geeat none of those games come close to PS AAA exclusives.

@eduscxbox i haven’t criticised Redfall because it’s an Xbox game, that’s not the point. Minecraft was a game long before MS came along. An Xbox dev didn’t make Minecraft. Redfall is a new ip, made by an Xbox dev, like TLOU, Uncharted, Spiderman, Days Gone, etc were all new ip’s from Sony owned devs.

@eduscxbox those aren’t proper Xbox exclusives tho. They’re games that Microsoft simply bought.

@BAMozzy if it were a Playstation exclusive i’d be 100% confident it’ll be a 10/10 game. Not so much being an Xbox exclusive.

@eduscxbox i get wat you’re saying but i’m not saying the exclusives are what bring in all the sales. The reason for that is because Playstation has a far bigger player base than Xbox. There are roughly 155 million PS4 an PS5 owners, there are about 68 million Xbox One an Series owners. Yet the reason for this, the reason Playstation sells more consoles is mainly because of the exclusive games.

If in the next 3 years Xbox released 10 exclusives that were 10/10 across the board, as good as or maybe even better than the likes of TLOU 1 an 2, Uncharted 4, God of War Ragnarok, Spiderman, Days Gone, etc, Xbox sales would shoot up. The only reason Playstation hammers Xbox is because of the consistent AAA, mind blowing quality of their exclusives. Everything else on both consoles are pretty identical.

Wat do folk really think Starfield will be like? Can it match or even surpass Skyrim? I just can’t drop that niggling feeling it’ll go the same way as Redfall.

Not confident in Starfield at all. Forza MS will be great as expected, they can’t really mess that up. But i can see Starfield getting the same reception as Redfall!!

Typical Xbox exclusive. Starfield will likely be similar. It’s a fact Playstation devs make the best games! Proper hoping Starfield lives up to the hype but i’m kinda 70/30 that it’ll be average at best.

Absolutely nailed on this would happen!! Starfield will be the same. Xbox devs just aren’t that good at makin games!! Playstation exclusives are always on another level. I’ll still give it a go wen i get in.

@Banjo- Square Enix not makin games for Xbox is nothing to do with Sony. Square Enix openly said they chose not to release on Xbox as Xbox game sales don’t warrant the extra work. The games you mentioned that were PS timed exclusives were so because Sony an the devs struck up the deal. This isn’t a new thing. Xbox did the same in 360 days when Xbox player base was similar to Playstation’s. Atari 2600 was the first console to have timed exclusives.

@theduckofdeath but doing that would massively hurt sales of COD. Reason Playstation get exclusivity deals is because of their huge player base. Over 70% of COD console sales are on Playstation.
