After pissing about trying to find something that felt right for weeks, I've settled on Hell is Us and it is definitely impressing so far. The combat, atmosphere and music are all great. What I really like is the reliance on investigation, no waypoint or mission markers. You have to rely on what people tell you or what you find to piece information together to help you on your way. A npc will tell you the compass bearing and that's all you've got. Intriguing game and looking forward to experiencing more.
Have a boss weekend everyone and happy gaming π
@FraserG Do you know if this will replace the complete edition in my library, or will it work similar to the recent Mafia update where I just have a separate version in there too? Thanks βΊοΈ
After many false starts, I'm tackling the AC series starting with the first entry. I keep jumping away from walls and plummeting to my death but I'll get there.
Also playing Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 as my chill side game.
Can't imagine I'll have much time to game this weekend, much like the last few weeks. Hopefully be playing a little It Takes Two later though, and possibly MGS on Sx and Tails Noir trophy clean up on PS5.
I'm currently playing The Adventures of Elliot on PS5 and having a really good time with it. It refreshing to try and a new setting and genre. Kind of wish I bought it on Series X now for the Play Anywhere, ho hum.
Not played much recently other than starting a playthrough of MGS via the master collection, which is probably the 1000th time since the 90s. Had a look at the Adventures of Elliot demo and really liked what I played so will be researching that genre a little. Off to see the Odyssey tonight so may start something like Oblivion π€
@themightyant That's fair, and you might as well enjoy it while it lasts. DofH is perfect to dip in and do a day or two.
I'm in a similar position, my work pattern has changed recently so I'm away from home more, so my switch has suddenly found a use. Ploughing commuting hours into Breath of the Wild and yet another playthrough of Vampire Survivors. When I get home, a little Vampire Crawlers, providing I have the juice left in the tank.
@nomither6 This is my experience too mate, I'll take an occasional delisting (which in reality doesn't affect you if already purchased) over a wealth of library security and ease of use. I sometimes play my Xbox games off the home computer just because I can haha

Re: Xbox Announces Big List Of Games And Broadcast Schedule For Gamescom 2026
Can't wait for Fable, I won't be watching anymore on the game as I'm completely sold on it. Definitely intrigued by Dawnwalker and Bad Magpie.
@HelloCraigo Looking forward to your coverage, love Gamescom π
I think there's an 'eye' missing at the end π
