After Sony's miserable current gen showing, MS had my respect with the "for the gamers" and for awhile it was. That's gone now. I've slowly become a PC player again after few decades of exclusive console gaming. I have all the current consoles but I have rethink that in the future with game prices going up.
Instead of raising game prices, how about driving down the development costs because something is definitely wrong there with broken and mediocre but expensive first-party titles.
Excellent. Two of my only annoyances have been fixed: public lobbies only and long travel times. Sailing is really well done but sometimes I just don't have the time.
Gave it a B - like, it seems, most of the people. Hi-Fi Rush is one of the best games of the year. Starfield was ok, nothing spectacular, maybe a bit last generation in how the narrative was constructed. But I've tried a lot of game pass games, some of them I've loved, some of them I have not but without the gamepass I never would've played them.
I agree, there's truth to that. That said, a lot of games has far too much "content" in them, bad or mediocre side quests and activities. I rather finish the story and move on instead of "savoring" what I consider weak padding.
Then again, there are games like Cyberpunk 2077 which has a lot of very well written side content which I was happy to play.
So here's an idea: instead of 60+ hour games every three or four years, make two or three 20 hour games every two years. Unless your game is really, really good. Some are, vast majority is not.
An 8/10 game. Did most of the factions, they were pretty good and enjoyed the main quest enough even if it wasn't particularly novel.
The weakest point of the game was the writing of the characters: they just wanted to tell their stories all the time. They didn't really have a life outside of their contact with me. One-dimensional.
Started Cyberpunk right after again. Character work is on a whole different level.
I have played about 13 hrs and haven't even finished she second story quest yet. Just running factions and doing stuff. Built my first starship just today. Maybe I should play a few main quest missions too.

Re: Review: Kena: Bridge Of Spirits (Xbox) - Slick Combat & Cute Companions Smooth Over Some Rough Spots
Not a bad game at all, some boss fights are pretty challenging too. Definitely worth playing.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The Skull & Bones Beta On Xbox?
Bad! No soul, no fun, typical Ubisoft formula.Took a break from Sea of Thieves to try out the demo. Went back to SoT after 30 minutes.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 16-17)
Against the Storm on PC game pass via GFN. An exceptional game, been playing for a week now and can't get enough.
Coral Island on the box. A really well made game too - especially after the few patches.
Re: Xbox Account Syncing Update Begins Rolling Out On Nvidia GeForce Now
GFN works great for me too, sometimes a bit bad resolution but mostly it's great.
If only we got a GFN app on Xbox too. I don't like going through the browser.

Re: Coral Island 1.0 Launches Today With Xbox Game Pass (November 14)
Pretty buggy. This is starting to become far too common. You wait for a game for years, they get released and all the bugs take away the will to play.
Re: Poll: Which Has Been The Best Generation Of Xbox So Far?
360 was great but I still voted for the current era as this is gathering some great speed. And gamepass is just amazing.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 1-2)
Aliens: Dark Descent on XBX. It's been really good so far, three missions in. Escape Simulator on GFN.
Re: These 12 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (May 17-27)
Just bought Farming Simulator last week. Goddamn.
I really don't mind. It's great.
Re: Xbox Players Are Getting Stuck At The Tutorial In Crusader Kings 3
I've started two games and played the tutorial twice and I have barely any clue. I know it is a good game but damn does it make it hard.
Re: Xbox Adds Another New Dynamic Background For Series X|S Owners
This game is fantastic. Been playing it with my son for the last four months.
Fun alone but better in co-op. Also, fighting some of the bugs alone is really hard. Together the difficulty level is good.
