The only reason I would buy this is to support more SIE on Xbox.

Most of the time it’s great and seamless to jump between. However i’m pretty sure I lost my 30hour Powerwash Simulator save because I jumped too much and confused the cloud save 😭.

Finished Split Fiction and though it didn’t impact me like It Takes Two it was still incredible. That last level was absolutely mad. They really thought outside the box.

Actually going to go back and play A Way Out now as I missed it originally.

In 2021 I had my multiplayer GOTY as It Takes Two and my Single-player GOTY as Psychonauts 2.

Right now it’s Split Fiction and Avowed but excited for either of those to be beaten.

Wow yes thats so good to see. Not helping me fight this early access dlc though!

But glad Compulsion smashed it. The game struck me right from that first trailer.

This review just hit metacritic bringing it up from a 74 to a 75.

This almost seems like the antithesis of Avowed where in that game gameplay was king. Both beautiful though.

Just wrapped up Avowed and Split Fiction so my body is ready. Which is tempting me to get early access. Which is naughty.

I did get Starfields early access but didn’t get Indiana Jones or Avoweds.

@GuyinPA75 I don’t get that argument, or where $30 a month came from.

I pay about £90 a year and in 2025 that will allow me to play Avowed, South of Midnight, Doom the Dark Ages, Tony Hawks 3+4, Towerborne, Ninja Gaiden 4, Outer Worlds 2 and COD 2025 if I want. And thats only from Microsoft as a publisher. And that includes online which you need to pay for on PS5 or Xbox anyway (annoyingly but still). Can’t play those games on my Nes.

More on topic; they are 100% releasing everything multi-platform going forward. Phil has said it a couple of times now; we are just in that weird time-lag year where Avowed and South of Midnight hit Xbox first. Phil even said they wanted to add the PS5 logo to games during the summer showcase last year but it was too late.

My opinion is that since everyone else has exclusives; ABK and Zenimax should be multiplatform but XGS should be exclusive. Since they would be a drop in the ocean next to COD etc. But that idea is long gone.

I want it but don’t have £100 for a keyboard right now…

@Beetlebum91 Flush and Jupiter are my go-tos as well. Also if you can get the Joker that allows Flush and Straight with only 4 cards then 👌

@Fiendish-Beaver I don’t either and the fact it doesn’t come with wheels is probably the deal breaker for me 🤣🤣 could always look up a youtube tutorial I guess but it would be for my son instead of me.

But thinking back to the Tony Hawk games you definitey get to choose your “deck” which is just the actual board itself.

@Fiendish-Beaver I think it’s a case of this only including the “deck” of the skateboard, so no wheels for example.

It Takes Two was my 2021 GOTY (above Psychonauts 2 and FH5) so I really enjoyed it. Playing this with my one gamer friend asap!

3 is an incredibly fun game. V excited for these.

Also great to see a Bethesda and Activision collaboration!

Phil already said he wanted to include PS5 (and PC/Switch etc) logos in last years summer showcase but they decided too late. So yea. If they hadn’t decided too late - we would have seen PS5 logos on anything that is far enough out to have a PS5 version ready at launch.

There isn’t really any discussion or speculation anymore as it’s all multiplatform.

Regarding the actual trilogy - I would have always assumed it would be 2026 because it’s the 20th anniversary; same as Oblivion. But hey they really are going hard this year.

I think it looks great and i’ve been looking forward to it since that initial reveal.

However is it possible THPS3+4 drops before this? 😮

I knew this would be the one to get bumped out of the year. Sad but not unexpected. Very excited for it though.

Also I think 2026 and onwards games will launch day one on PS. So expect that now…

This was already incredible with It Takes Two but that brings it to another level. What a standard for co-op games. Even if the game does cost a bit more than their past releases.

Trying to convince your friends to play a co-op game (outside of Gamepass) can be tricky as you ask them to drop £40 to play with you. So this is a great solution.

I have loved DW games ever since I played the demo for DW3 and immediately picked up DW2.

Why is me thinking it’s the best thing from the show console warring? It was also a shadow drop which is cool in itself.

@Banjo- just wanted to chime in that there is (or was) an Xbox Tax 100%. It’s not about conspiracy theories. The main example being that once you have Geoff Keighley elected king of the industry he immediately taxes Xbox. The man is a straight up Playstation fanboy. He tweets constantly about the positive Playstation news and the “negative” Xbox news. If anyone doubts it watch him announce Genshin Impact for Xbox. He just mumbles it like hes upset about it. Plus as you mention the board; even companies like Kinda Funny would agree that they skew blue; and they are on the award board.

And the review scores definitely include a tax because most reviewers have a Playstation bias. It can be denied over and over but it’s a fact. Even if they don’t state it (though Metro’s Hi-Fi Rush review almost blew their cover).

Best thing from the “show” and only £20. Very excited to try this.

@mac_da_man you don’t need to rent it whenever you want to play it, you also have the option of buying it.

It is also extremely unlikely to leave Gamepass as it’s a first party non-licensed XGS game and IP.

Secondly what are you even talking about? Xbox would have seen how Deathloop did on Playstation. They don’t usually get to see so much financial detail from games releasing on Playstation because it’s usually none of their business. However they would have seen the financials for Deathloop. @fatpunkslim lack of knowledge? I’m aware Sony signed the exclusivity deal. Hence the point of it releasing first on Playstation (like I said). Xbox was in the acquisition process at the time. They honoured the 1 year deal. You think they don’t have optics on the financials from that deal? But thanks for the insult 👍

One thing I never see mentioned and i’m not sure if it’s because i’m forgetting something but - I blame Deathloop. That would have been their first proper taste of a Playstation launch for a new game (outside of Minecraft right? Can’t really count that as it’s next level). They must have liked it.

@fatpunkslim we are only getting exclusives at the moment due to time-lag. Once they catch up there will be zero exclusives outside of the odd indie game that needs a slow rollout. And of course any legacy titles like Redfall, delisted Forza Horizons and maybe Rare Replay.

@TanaDax yea it would be better if it was all in one go, but I do think some are being saved for Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct in April - I think that is where they say Halo is going.

I think what is actually crazy is we are getting an article for each of these. And then we are going to get them again when they flood the Switch 2 with these games.

@Isolte no I get the coverage. This is huge. What I mean is - if God of War or Spiderman came to Xbox, you wouldn’t have people from Playstation rushing to buy them on Xbox. It would mostly be new Xbox players. Whereas with what is happening here, MCC etc on Playstation, Xbox players seem so excited to buy the games on Playstation again.

Unless it comes down to trophies and achievements?

@abe_hikura thats 100% going to happen with Starfield. But thats the thing; they put so much hate out towards “xbox” games to make their platform seem superior and now they are getting them anyway. So yes they are hypocrites or liars or whatever but… it worked. The narrative in the industry has almost always been that Playstation is “better” than Xbox and now they got what they wanted; Xbox giving up.

Doesn’t help that you have fanboys locked in at the top of the industry like Geoff Keighley and now Chris Dring who ***** on Xbox every chance they get. Or at least they did…

Whats funny is that Adam Boyes acknowledges the whiplash and confusion Xbox fans are facing after over 20 years of Xbox - but Parris of Gamertag Radio will shoot down anyone who questions the strategy and calls them a fanboy for console warring. So basically any concern shown towards this multiplatform approach is not allowed.

@JetmanUK i’m in the same position, thousands of games (around 800 digital plus hundreds of 360/one games) and I don’t know what to do. I love buying Xbox games but I literally tweeted at Phil Spencer yesterday saying “which console do you actually want me to buy games on” because it’s really unclear.

I feel rubbish because I just don’t think i’m as excited about the industry going forward as everyone else seems to be. I love the 3 console pillars as they are; I love buying the hardware, I love achievement hunting, I want all 3 platforms to succeed together. And important to me is that I want to share that love with my kids when they are a little bit older.

Bit of a joke but the idea of the next generation of children associating Halo/Gears/Forza with Playstation is just… gross 🤣

I mean it’s done isn’t it. Might be announced today; they may as well. Might be at the Switch 2 game reveal in April.

Everyone is so excited to play these games on Playstation - I don’t get it. They’ve been accessible to so many for years; but okay. The industry is designed around protecting Playstation so whatever.
