Update []: As suggested, Xbox Game Pass redemptions are no longer available as part of Microsoft Rewards. It seems this is due to the major Xbox Game Pass overhaul that was unveiled this week.

Original Story: It feels like we're getting a lot of Microsoft Rewards news at the moment, and this is a particularly interesting development - various MS Rewards users are getting told that direct Xbox Game Pass redemptions are about to end!

They're seeing this when going to the standard Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser, but it's only a few people noticing it right now - enough to take it seriously, but not widespread by any means.

Here's a look:

As mentioned, there are a lot of Microsoft Rewards users who aren't seeing this right now, so there's a chance this is all just a big mistake on Microsoft's end, or perhaps it's limited to certain regions or even certain users. Who knows?!

Whatever the case may be, we wanted to bring it to your attention considering the date is set as October 1st, after which you may find that direct Xbox Game Pass redemptions are no longer available via the Microsoft Rewards program. Instead, you'll have to redeem Xbox Gift Cards and then convert those into Game Pass membership time.

If we find out anything more on this over the next couple of days, we'll update this article accordingly.
