Toys for Bob ain't it. They've made a few good games, but nothing on the scale of a complex 3D platformer. They seem all style less substance to me. But I suppose it couldn't hurt to see what they could do.
I still believe Double Fine should be the one, if they wanted to of course. They've more than proven them can create in depth 3D platformers, with the sense of humour and quirkiness Rare used to be known for.

Were any of these people who say this is the best Xbox has ever been around during the 360 days? That was the best Xbox has ever been, the real glory days.
Current Xbox is as exciting as a trip to the dentist, which is a real shame.

I'm fairly certain that MS views the PS5 as their console now. Mentioning Xbox inside MS headquarters is likely to get you roughed up by security & tossed out the door.

Yeah I guess it makes sense from a financial perspective & all that.
But......
If only they had held out a little longer, they would've seen Sony stumbling with first party releases, and taken advantage of that with a killer first party Xbox line up. It could've almost been the 360 vs. PS3 days again. But nah MS just couldn't help themselves, they didn't even give themselves a chance. It's pretty pathetic. Now they talk more about PS5 & PC rather than their own console, it's like they're ashamed of it.
But hey they have their fancy rental service and squeaky controllers.....so yay?
Not only that, but the smug levels radiating from Push Square are at astronomical levels, you'd think George Clooney bought the site.

New games here in Australia cost $90-$125 currently. As a result, I buy much less these days. Any higher and they can shove it up their ass. And the console too.

I'm so glad all these devs are working on Marvel games way after the MCU bubble burst. I'm sure it will definitely pay off, as good as Star Wars Outlaws has for Ubisoft at least. Go team!

All of these shows have been utter garbage. People were championing the demise of e3, & this what you get: the watered down soda of events everytime you tune in to one of these, with Keighley's big boof plastered over every one.

Microsoft has a problem with Series X/S output in general.

What makes anyone think an xbox handheld would actually sell? I just don't see it. Especially with the Switch 2 around the corner.

What a ***** joke. I thought consoles were designed for ease of use? The fact that an article had to be written just to install a ***** game properly tells me we've drifted way off track. Remember how easy it was in the 360 days to whack a disc in your console & you're generally good to go? The menus didn't look like a Netflix menu back then either, & were actually managable.

I only watched a little, but it felt like I was being beaten with a bag of oranges. Just awful.

I want Gears Of War 6 to be titled correctly, & feature a cast of likeable characters like the original trilogy. Perfect Dark in the style of the newer Deus Ex games would be fantastic.

I'm playing Sand Land, which I'm really enjoying about 5 hours in. I'll also be playing some Halo MCC campaigns co-op with my nephew, which is always a good time.

Yeah Infinite Wealth is my no.1 this year so far, such an awesome game with an excellent story & gameplay to match. Its rare that a game exceeds my expectations, but this one did.

They don't deserve to be argued about anyway imo. The Series X & PS5 are as exciting as a tumbleweed sandwich.
It's not like the PS1/Saturn/N64 gen, where each console felt very unique, just for example. Which is something that is absent from those 2 bricks. The PS5 has the haptics & those stupid triggers which feel broken during gameplay as a feature, which is exciting....I guess.

Current Xbox will probably bring Starfield to PS5 as an apology for buying ABK & announce it publicly.
This stuff doesn't bother me, as the current generation is so incredibly boring both my XSX & PS5 have turned beige over time.
