Infinity Ward is back at the helm of Call of Duty this year, which means that naturally, a new Modern Warfare title is likely for Fall 2026. We've already heard various rumours and reports that this is the case - and now a new Xbox x Fanta collaboration gives us our strongest hint at 'Modern Warfare 4' so far.
Shared today by the folks over at CharlieIntel and Klobrille, it looks as though some promotional Fanta cans are being manufactured that tie into Xbox's 25th anniversary this year. Some of the cans are also adorned with Call of Duty logos, alongside famous Modern Warfare character 'Ghost'.

As you can see in the posts above, these Fanta cans have seemingly been spotted at a Canadian retailer, and if all goes to plan, they'll crop up in public soon. Ghost featured heavily in the recent Modern Warfare reboot trilogy, and looking at the COD variant of this new promo, it looks as though the long-time franchise character could play a big role in this year's title too.
We'll have to wait and see how Call of Duty gets formally announced here in 2026, but if we can add a potential Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to Xbox's 25th anniversary lineup, Microsoft is going to have a stacked year on its hands. It'll be interesting to see how the team figures out its release schedule as the year goes on!
