Game feels identical every year, so, not a big loss. Not much hope that skipping a year will make much difference. We'll see...

Have to say, I've been having more fun with Motorfest than FH5. The presentation of the game is superb, each playlist feels different, with track elements varying every time. Lots of different races, different types of vehicles. I feel it's kind of underrated when people compare it to the "perfect" and overrated FH5.

Putting features aside... Man, that thing is ugly! Looks like a safe.

I swear, GTA might be the most overrated game of all time. I've played it. It's not a bad game, but man, it's way overrated. I've played tons of games that were more fun and more enjoyable.

By the way, with the way society is nowadays, you can forget about all that dark humor and satire GTA is known for. With everyone and their grandmas being offended at everything now, the next game will pale in comparison. I don't know what everyone is excited for, tbh...

Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite games from the last generation. I usually fire it up when I want to chill. Such a good atmosphere, awesome soundtrack and gameplay. I like both versions, Original and Catalyst, but I played more Catalyst, maybe because it was open world, and I can just wander around the map freely. I also have the main theme as my ringtone 😁

I think she gave away the fact that the price is also going to be "very premium", and a lot of gamers are going to be priced out.

@Fiendish-Beaver Especially, seeing as next-gen consoles will probably be near $€1000, as hinted by some sorces. They will price out a lot of people that will stay with current-gen consoles for the long run.

I think they're easing us up to accept the Next Xbox price when they're out... "An all-new shiny console for just $100 more". You'd be crazy not to upgrade, right?

@TrollOfWar Nice! I feel like every game should have a demo. Sure, you can watch a video on YouTube, but it can never beat playing the game yourself.

They killed NFS a long time ago, since the recent games were complete rubbish.

@dreadful Exactly. I think I need at least two clicks to reach MY pins. Ridiculous! Pins should be the main focus of the home screen.

I've been playing it recently on PS5 (bought it originally for PS4) and it plays at 60fps. Not sure if it's the PS5 alone, or my 4K TV with Game Mode on, or both, but it plays super smooth.

If they update the graphics as well, it would be nice, though.

PC gaming getting more and more attractive now...

If next gen consoles cost upwards of €700, good luck getting an install base in the tens of millions, as this is becoming a luxury hobby the masses can't afford.

Am I the only one not the least bit excited about GTA 6? Can you imagine a politically correct GTA? No, thanks...

Those numbers aren't very exciting, if they want to compete with FM... 70+ cars and 27 track LAYOUTS, not locations. Those layouts might be from just 10 different tracks.

For MS to raise the price of Xbox consoles, you'd have to find them in the stores, in the first place.

At that price, might as well buy the game. It's cheaper 🙄

...And I thought the standard controller was already expensive...

If this is "one of the most impressive open worlds of this generation", I guess that says much of how uninspired this generation has been... 😒

@wildcat_kickz My thoughts exactly. I was always skipping half the maps. Most of the time people were choosing "Classified" in map voting because the other two choices were terrible. That shows how bad BO6 maps are.

Delisting the game because of licenses I can understand, but making the game offline, I don't.

Why can't they migrate server data to the Horizon 5 servers? I'm not a tech wiz, but I bet it's not a technical problem. More like, they can't be bothered to do so. The game's player base must be small and for them, it's not worth the effort, I guess.

All racing games eventually face the same fate, and it's a shame to lose such an important part of racing game history.

I think they're wrong about their strategy and only time will tell if they're on the right path. Not for me, though.

Next generation is only about PS6. No reason for sticking around in the Xbox ecosystem if all their future games will be on the competitor's hardware. I'll keep my Series X for my game library, but I won't give them any more of my money.

Ever since the "Unexpected Error" started appearing randomly in career missions, I pretty much stopped playing.

I ain't wasting my time with this. It clearly needed more time in the oven.

For me, it showed F1 24 for €16. It's really tempting, although I don't see much difference from last year's game.

@MeanBeanEgg That's the thing, this score seems negative biased, because it shows the reviewer went to the game with preconceived notions, like first-person view, and didn't review the game for what it is. It doesn't read like an honest review to me, but like any reviews, that's my personal opinion

I bet it will have a better score on Push Square when it releases on PS5. This score just feels mean and nitpicking. Are we even on an Xbox site?

Ever since FM4 it's been downhill. The game lacks passion from the developers. Content is still being drip-fed and it's not enticing enough to come back regularly. Even Horizon 5 is better supported than this.

I wonder how Skull & Bones is faring... I wouldn't be surprised if it's the next one to bite the dust.

The game is a mess right now. It needs a LOT of patches. Yesterday I was playing a 2H mission in career mode and got an "Unexpected Error" close to the end, which wasted my time. It's not guaranteed it won't happen again, so right now I'm avoiding playing it, because it doesn't deserve my time.

I'm glad I was playing it through Game Pass and didn't pay for it. We'll see how it performs in a few months...

I've been playing it a lot, but not without problems.
World Photography is awesome. Managed to photograph some animals in Africa and some landmarks in Asia. The photo goals are a nice motivation to keep coming back.

Career is what I always wanted in the 2020 version, with missions. The mission grades, however, seem like a hit or miss. Today, I had one of the smoothest landings in a mission, yet the game gave me a rating of 0% in landing smoothness. Maybe not 100%, but 0% would be if I had crashed it. They need to sort this out.

Nature detail seems much better than 2020, especially on the ground, but when you're flying in cities, the buildings still look like cardboard maquettes.

And where are the Bush Trips? I hope they add it in a future update.

@UserTK-421 Both Mirror's Edge games are among my all-time favorites. I did play some Battlefield and Star Wars, but not much recently.

Mirror's Edge is not active anymore, unfortunately, but I still play it from time to time just to chill.

Not most, but more. The standard battlepass costs 1100 points, but if you complete all tiers, which isn't difficult if you play regularly, you can make 1400 points. That's 300 extra points per season, so in theory, if you always buy the standard battlepass, at the end of the game's six season lifecycle, you can make an extra 1800 points

I always knew this game would be a mediocre attempt at reviving a beloved franchise. As soon as I knew KT Racing was developing it, my enthusiasm died right away. These guys don't know how to make a good racing game.

Good news. They should've launched with more maps, since they had an extra year. Season 1 hasn't even begun and I'm already tired of some maps.

@gamer5634 You can always train with bots before venturing with multiplayer. It's great to learn the maps and test different loadouts and you can have a taste of how multiplayer works at your own pace, since you can choose bots difficulty.

@BIG3 You're in for some treat, then. COD campaigns are always fun to play, except for last year's, which went a different route.

I'd recommend Cold War and Infinite Warfare, but Sledgehammer's Vanguard and WWII are also very good, IMO.

The only thing keeping me in the Xbox ecosystem is my huge game library. I hope they'll have a next-gen Xbox, because despite all we've been hearing, I prefer to use Xbox as my main gaming machine.

C'mon, graphics are way superior. Are we playing the same game? The Omni-movement is a game changer, too. It's more fast-paced, but I guess that may not be for everyone.

For me, it's superior in every way from MWIII.

The game feels like a generational leap compared to last year's. This is what a next-gen COD feels like.

I have a feeling this new COD will be the best one in years. They had 4 years to make it.

People talk ***** about COD, but when other alternatives pop up, they disappear to oblivion. Makes you wonder that people who actually diss COD are in a minority.

In my opinion, Phil should leave XBox. If he's not making any decisions anymore, what is the purpose of his job?
