If it isn't shaped like an X or has a X shape be the main design of it will be the 5 Xbox console that isn't an X box. Stupid request I know but atleast the competition is sticking to what their consoles are named. The the switch can indeed switch and the PlayStation still matches its titles as its a station that can be used to play media. Surely it can't be too difficult to create something that has a X on it without including the logo or power button.

I'd be down but Microsoft already have tons of legendary series under their name they just doing nothing with and instead just keep on buying more amd more and more I'm afraid if they do pick up the project we may never see it. I know it's the worst case scenario but that's just the way my mind thinks I always see the worst outcome of everything

@Tharsman the devils in the detail. Microsoft is claiming the full experience running on switch. Not the switch pro, switch 2, switch XL or switch successor. The switch the same console that has been out since 2017. everyone thinks that the next Nintendo console is just going to be a powerhouse to rival the ps5 and series systems. But you need to remember this is Nintendo the company who doesn't care what the fans think and will go off and do their own thing that their fans will eventually look at and say "ok it's not what I was wanting but I'll bite". Nintendo goes their own way. When Microsoft and Sony started to cut back on disc production Nintendo where there to say oh don't worry about this game we are shadow dropping tonight it will also get a physical copy in a weeks time. If Nintendo is getting cod on their system they are going to fight to the nail to make sure it's not a switch pro exclusive because they know that will isolate all 3 current switch owners which is where Nintendo is making most of their money.

Sorry about the rant. I love my switch and I would love to see it come to Nintendo platform but based on everything we currently know I think that this is impossible.

@Tharsman I mean they have reason to be, think about it Microsoft promised the same game experience day and day on switch meaning there is going to be some downgrades. There is a chance that it can be downgraded to the point where the game becomes unappealing to play. When a game becomes unappealing to play people look for a replacement. Looking at current shooters on the market Microsoft already has a shooter title they can funnel these players too. And considering the wording of the deal something tells me switch will also receive it if the next cod game is unappealing. And the thing is Microsoft do have a motive to degrade the quality of the cod franchise. As profitable as cod is they would make much more money if they got cod numbers on halo compared to cod. Not only would Microsoft have avoided the long payment patch from tryark to Activision blizzard to Microsoft but they would also get the switch market involved which is extra bank for them.

Ok but why couldn't this have been a classic basketball style game with powerups that imbrace the toons and all their wacky and weird ways.

Give it a week once its no longer free the game will die. A month at the most believe me i played it during the beta and i loved it but don't think this game will ever blow up because a far better game also had a chance to blow up and it did until among us was found. I still play that game though and i wish it was still as popular as it once was.

@KelticDevil also also the games after launching include ratchet and clank rift apart,returnal,gran turismo 7,godfall and if you take pc out of the picture then final fantasy 16,project athia and god of war 2 just to name a few sure the number is small but its certainly bigger the xboxs exclusives 0.

@KelticDevil ok then answer me this what do you have apart from a cheap price what do you have that is only able to be done on xbox series x, because last time i check 2 exclusives is better than no exclusives.

I didnt want to go this far and if you actually read it all you would have seen my full thoughts and have gotten everything into your head what i thought ill by a xbox seires console when there is something worth buying it for.

@KelticDevil you walked yourself right into that, the ps5 will have destruction all stars and astro playground both ps5 exclusives with the library of exclusives growing quick each and every day after launch the xbox series s has no console exclusives day one the selection of xbox games which are getting a xbox series s version wont be done until Christmas and even then its just beefed up ports (although ngl will of the wisp series s looks fantastic) and all of the big consoles exclusives title don't have dates or wont happen until next year, so that just makes me wonder what do you do day one if you have this thing there is nothing that makes the console special price is cheap yes but that means nothing if there is nothing that makes it worth the price a player is only as good as there controller but a console is only as good as its game

Ill eventually pick it up but thats only when it offers something that only it has.

@KelticDevil firstly spider man miles moralus isnt dlc its a new game all together, and secondly god of war 2 isnt a remake its a new game which takes place after the wvents of the ps4 god of war.

Also "my standards are low" says the person whos defending a console which has currently no major consoles exclusives and thats not even a joke why dont you go see geoff keeleys tweet if you dont believe me.

But to be completely honest im more of a vr gamer and so far there is no way to use vr on the xbox series consoles so im either going for ps5 and use my friends psvr or oculus quest 2.

Like ya its cheap but that mean nothing unless you have something that only your console has and the way i see it is playstation has god of war 2 xbox has mario 64..i mean halo 3....i mean Chinese bootleg doom eternal.
