@Kaloudz if you don't count Japan that is. The Common Japanese "PCs are work tools and not gaming platforms" mindset is still as strong as before the PC Gaming Boom
@Cashews 3 players control the Killers (Bubba and his 2 brothers) whose objective is to Kill the survivors (and not let them escape the farm) and satisfy their grandpa and 4 are survivors trying to escape them
@UnusedBabyWipes Sorry, but AoE3 will never be given the same treatment as with AoE1 case since it's so radically different than 2 and 4 due to its Home City Shipment system (the very same reason why it will never get a console port either)
@Chaudy It was not blocked in the US. The FTC have no power to block the deal (unlike the CMA (which has proven time and again that it favors Sony over everyone else even before Brexit) ever since the UK left the European Union or the European Commission). Only a federal judge can block. The only thing the FTC can do is recommend a Judge so he/she blocks it (but it's not likely it will happen since there's no proof to the FTC's claims and the fact that even lawyers that used to work there left because of Lina Khan's unfitting behavior for the role that she was given)
Honestly, the only upgrade Series X needs of the moment is to its storage which is too low considering how big games will get as generation progresses. And not many people can handle the cost of the extenders. And before you graphic lovers start with the whines not everyone haves 4K TVs or likes high fps counts to enjoy their games
@Friendly Day one for Xbox Game Pass (or Xbox in general) but the fact remains that they're ports of games that already released so, in one side, their public already bought and played them before (MHR on Nintendo (which is where most the Main Monster Hunters have been residing ever since Sony betrayed the Vita), P5R on PS4) and in the other side, they don't take too much of a budget compared to a entirely new game, so it's easier they will make it back regardless.
If these games released on Xbox Game Pass as they did on their Original Platforms (at the year they were originally released) and they succeeded, another, rooster would be singing
What i do think of Games with Gold? The same as almost everyone. There's no reason to keep this with Game Pass around.
The only reason Gold is kept around and paid is because of Online Multiplayer in Xbox and some discounts here and there (which does add to the discount Game Pass sub's have), not the games. Just add them to Xbox Game Pass already and abandon Gold for good.
@RedShirtRod Well we're still getting content this month with both the Lone Woves for Halo Infinite and the (Just Announced) Knights of the Mediterranean for AoE3DE
Just a few days ago we've got Dynasties of India for AoE2DE and before that we've a full rework for both Britain and Spain as well as Mexico for AoE3DE
While i do want Full Games to come, its not that we're going empty handed with content
@Medic_Alert In PC there's no real need for developers to get involved with programing how a game will run, That kind of tuning is done by the User alone (through buying the components and the fine tuning in the software itself)
That was never the case for consoles, and it will never be the case. Programing the Graphics on Consoles is a task exculsively done by Developers and Developers ALONE
This decision makes a lot of sense as they're considering that:
1- Series (and also PS5 and Switch's Sucessor) will never outsell the Switch and the PS4 not matter the effort. Situations like what happened with those 2 consoles only happen once in a lifetime and never happen again (specially if we consider Japan and Asia)
2- There's a pre-established audience for many of the games that Activision have in PS and not everyone will jump ship to the Xbox Ecosystem even if they want to due to other reasons
@Tasuki But in that game you actually need them to soak up damage and distract the opponents. But in Overwatch a big chunk of players tend to use tanks like if they are some kind of pushovers (like if they were CoD players), getting too far ahead of themselves so supports can't help them, instead of doing what they're supposed to which is protecting the front of your team and distract opponents while the DPS deal the damage. Now with this change let's hope that the tank player sticks to it's role or the entire team get's ruined. Specially when playing with Randoms
@Fiendish-Beaver Well the servers for Gears 5 Multiplayer are the same in both Windows 10 and Xbox, so in this case, they can do it, Same with Halo Infinite when it comes out. Microsoft's servers have become the most secured on the market due to the fact that they keep them updated to the latest when it comes of countering shenanigans (Hackers and Cheaters already have a bad time getting away with it)
@Xiovanni Sorry but that's not up to you. If you release your game on Xbox, it releases on Xcloud, because it will be a automatic process once Xcloud gets fully implemented outside of Game Pass. Like it or not, that's the way it is as Xcloud and Xbox are the same thing software wise and will share the same store (the only difference is that one is Cloud-based and the other is Hardware based). Microsoft wants everything Xbox-related to be a unified one ecosystem. Just like Apple is doing right now with the arrival of the Apple Silicon-Based Macs (and a hypothetical game console if rumors are to be beleived), they want every single Device from now on to be unified in a single ecosystem and the new Macs complete the process by abandoning Intel
@Xiovanni What the document says is that if a Indie Studio publish their game on Xbox, it is also being published on Xcloud as well as the Console (due the fact that both are the same thing as Xcloud is in fact a cloud-based VM that runs Xbox OS (which is a gamer focused version of Windows 10)). This actually does not mean you can't publish in any other competing cloud service (which is the way Epic is trying to demonize this, which is not surprising as Epic's greed is so on the roof they're so out of touch with reality, what Apple did was to expose this to the general public)
@Xiovanni This does not stop you from doing so. What Xbox wants with this is to make sure that games become as widely available as posible by putting it on Xcloud (specially on the Asian Markets which are Mobile-centered and rarely buy Home consoles and Gaming PCs). This also allow to compensate for the fact that Xbox Series will be remaining scarce due to the Semi-conductor Shortage preventing them from making more of them
@AliceInChains Makes sense in the case of PC since rumors/rumours point to the second game being published by Epic Games and surely they want to release the first one as a free game on EGS as a way to promote the sequel
@StonyKL While Playing on Game Pass Exclusively might make sense on a tight budget, it is more recommended to buy the games to truly secure them to your Xbox account as games get removed every 15 days and if you have a life that prevents you to play 12-18 hours a day, or you're playing more than one game at the same time (that happens), and that game you're playing gets removed, you'll have no choice but to buy it, no matter what, if you want to continue immediately
@UltimateOtaku91 Remember that this is an Early Access (thus you're buying a game that you're allowed to play as it develops), you can't ask for a Physical Release of a title that is still in Development. The price is so you contribute to the Game's Development as well as securing your game when it comes out fully
First things first Epic does not really need Xbox Game Pass for almost anything as Fortnite is a Free to Play title and thus why put it in there. The only reason they would accept is if there's no other choice but to actually place the game for iOS users in particular.

Re: SEGA President Excited For Future Of Consoles Despite 'Huge Trend' Of PC & Mobile
@Kaloudz No at all. Most Gamers in Japan are either Mobile Gamers or Console Gamers (specially portable ones)
Re: EA Is Shutting Down Anthem, And It Won't Be Playable Offline Either
@abe_hikura yeah. The core design of the gameplay was pretty well done. But, everything else surrounding it, basically ruined the game.
