Outside of the GP sub (and im not sure how much longer i'll be bothering with that now) and the series X itself, not paid a single thing on the xbox store, whats the point? Honestly outside of the rare GP Release that I want to play, the system is barely turned on these days. I generally stick to the PS5 Pro for majority of releases.
Everything else Remedy makes has been absolute gold for me. I love Control and the world they've built around it, but this just seemed so...unnecessary?
@senote I think they made the right call and just played it safe. It went through all that dev hell, and then they were handed it. God knows what kinda state it was in so imo they did a fantastic job with what they had. Game is a lot of fun, gore tech is great, its gorgeous too. Give them a Dead Island 3 to do from scratch and I think they'll work wonders with it.
Have to disagree with the quality still being there. Sure it looks nice. But the "open combat missions" are utter garbage, the story goes nowhere, it ends on a cliffhanger just as the story has an interesting beat. It was the most bored I'd ever been with a CoD campaign. Sledgehammer need to be removed from making "full" titles. They just haven't proven they can do it.
