Oh no the Sonic the Hedgehog fan who can't wait five days is done with me boo hoo. I will cry about this until Oct 5th when I can play Forza 5 days early.

For those with common sense this Premium play early deal is really a great value and I love it. The Starfield one was pretty great too because you not only got early access, but you prepaid for the first story DLC.

So since you want to hold marketing to their word, then how do your propose they let you play early and put it as part of a Premium offering, but allow any Gamepass player to also play Early?

See I am in the firm camp of Gamers who enjoy fun and find eSports to be a cancer that is hurting gaming as a whole.

When I spent $70+ on my games I enjoy them, have a fun time with friends and family. I don't obsess and try to be the best esports player in the world. I play a wide range of games and will be moving on from MK1 as more games I want to play come out. I will revisit for each season and when the DLC characters start to launch. But again I don't obsess and gave at all about fighting game tournaments.

I can completely understand if they are younger or without work, that extra $30 can feel like a slap in the face to someone really super duper looking forward to the game. But at that point maybe they should get off Xbox and find meaningful work where $30 is an impulse purchase.

Street Fighter 6 looks like it was made last generation and they sat on it until just now. Mortal Kombat 1 blows it away for it's story, character designs and upcoming characters and support. SF6's TMNT content was an overpriced joke

If you feel that strongly about it no one is telling you to keep Gamepass. You can move on to Sony and get their "gamepass" and play their games on Day 365+

It's not a farce, months ahead of it's Oct 10th release date they have let you know that it is coming Oct 10th. The option to pay into an early release is a good thing for anyone who doesn't want to pay more. Us who will be playing on Oct 5th will basically be stress testing the servers for the rest of you. You are getting very hung up on the Day One aspect of this and again they never said it was coming out on Oct 5th for Gamepass and then suddenly delayed it to the 10th and charged $30 for the original release date. So I see no reason for the outrage

It is a great thing. It gives fans who are super excited to play it as soon as possible and get other stuff for these big games an option to pay in. And not to forgo gamepass completely, but instead think of it as a $70 discount from buying the Premium edition. It will not kill you to wait 5 more days, and if you find it to be too hard to wait break out $30.

You are missing the fact you get more than simply 5 day early access for the $30. You get several cars and other digital goodies. This is something for super fans of the game. I love these $30 premium upgrades because it's better than paying $100.

Just calling it early access undersells the Premium upgrade. It gives you:

• The Forza Motorsport Premium Edition includes the full game with 5 DAYS EARLY ACCESS, the Race Day Car Pack, Car Pass (30 cars delivered to your game weekly, one per week), VIP Membership and Welcome Pack. 

So if you are super into this game its a nice bit of content for $30+

I would say the N64 Controller was one of the worst controllers, especially for a 3D centric console. One joystick in the direct middle made no sense

Instead of paying $300 - 500 for a gaming system they should work out options to get better internet.

The next BG3 story I want to see on here is when it's coming to Xbox so I can give them my money

I feel sad for the eastern coastline, they have to watch a non-live version of the show apparently 12 hours after the rest of us get to watch it

Believe it or not, no disc drive in a current Gen system is not a deal breaker for as many people as you'd think. Physical sales are way down compared to digital, hence why everyone is moving towards an all digital future.

I've always said I think Microsoft and Nintendo should come up with a battle plan together. I think their 1st party IPs should do the following:

4k/8k Home versions - Xbox's current and future consoles
Portable versions - Nintendo Switch and future consoles

That way you can cover all types of gamers and play their games whichever way you'd like.

The conversion rates changes for every 3 months of gold now convert to 2 months of Ultimate.

I just want a release date to look forward to. Just tell us when I'll be $70 less rich. Also Microsoft should drop a thick stack to get this on Gamepass and that would shut up anyone mad about Series S not having local co-op

I think Microsoft should drop the console parity clause and announce a one time offer. Send in your Xbox Series S for a one time $200 off an Xbox Series X. Problem solved and no court on earth would go after them for false advertisting.

Honestly none of us have the hard data to see if couch co-op is truly utilized in these bigger titles. Maybe Microsoft does have that information and deemed it wasn't a hill to die on.

You didn't address how is it possible for BG3 to run on the steam deck but not on the Xbox Series S.

The steamdeck is a 1.6 teraflop capable machine (basically 1.5x the Switch) and the Xbox Series S can do 4 teraflops of computing.

The S is more than capable system at a killer price point. I used the S for the past couple of years and had little to no issues with it. That being said I am enjoying my upgrade to the X

I'm not saying use the cloud option for all games just for overly demanding games or for lazy developers like Larian Studios who can't seen to get a fairly basic title to run on a system that everyone can run it on. If they can get it to work on the Steam Deck they can get it to run on the Series S

I'll do you one better why not get a PS5, the corded to the system Playstation VR 2, and the Playstation Portal. And then sit around and wait for Sony to release more games. I guess you have Spider-Man 2 to look forward to. What after that? I'm not sure
