I don't think there's a compelling reason to delay launch. By most estimates, we'll see a recession of some kind in 2023. Sales potential isn't going to get better, so pushing back the release date is just going to hurt them more. (Assuming the game is actually done).
The best feature of the first gen PS VR was that I could play mature-themed games in privacy while my kids were in the same room (using the non VR "theater mode"), even though the resolution was poor. I'd definitely buy an Xbox VR headset if the same feature were available in 4K.
@Generik: I had a similar experience streaming Wasteland 3 from the series X in my home to the desktop PC in my office. It worked remarkably well, considering the distance (~3 miles).
If multi-platform development is so easy and everyone wants to make money while serving a broad fan base, then why can I not stream God of War, Horizon ZD & FW, and Last of Us directly to my phone or janky non-gaming PC right now? I'd happily throw $$$ at Sony right now for a Game Pass equivalent for a year or two just to play their exclusives, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards. Why, then, is there so much vitriol directed at MS for offering the PS community a service that Sony simply can't reciprocate for Xbox fans? All things considered, I'd say MS is being pretty inclusive with their strategy. If anything, the accessibility of the MS catalogue across multiple platforms is actually an incentive to invest in Sony's hardware, rather than Xbox. MS must have a ton of confidence in their position going forward...
For XSX owners, the Control and Witcher 3 deals are awesome. Control is an enhanced edition (I think the game pass version is not) and Witcher 3 should get a free next gen upgrade sometime soon. Good stuff.
Is it fair to say that Jeff Grubb is a MS insider the same way that Mike Zeroh is a Star Wars insider? Unless at least 85% of what he's been "leaking" is validated at E3, the gaming community needs to hold his feet to the fire.
FWIW, I'm one of those folks who converted from PS4 to XBSX. After owning the original XB and 360, MS lost my business last generation with the XBONE debacle. They've won me back now with Game Pass and the Zenimax acquisition. Mission accomplished for Phil Spencer.

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Expectations For The 2022 Xbox Games Showcase?
I think we'll see an extended trailer and gameplay for STALKER 2 along with a tribute to GSC.
Re: Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Will Reportedly Be Shown At Star Wars Celebration In May
Loved the first game; hated poncho couture. Maybe we can get some day one fashion options for Cal?
