Genuinely your pandering to the negative spins over Halo for mere traction is why I can't stomach game sites like this. It's popular to moan about Halo even when it's doing incredibly good stuff.

Halo, the only game that needs negative and positive stories in order for people to cultivate attention. from previews that say it's amazing yet state they're concerned to players whining over the smallest things as if it being free isn't enough. It's like, trendy to diss on it only to then compliment and praise is to go back to dissing on it. Hearing people talking about Halo is like listening to the moods of a bipolar cat lady.

I played it on the Series X during the dark days. Ran fine for me. Loved every second of it. Sadly, due to the glitches on other platforms and horror stories about production it's become a sacred object of negativity by miserable gamers looking for something to crap on. I'll pop back here later in the night to see the updates. I don't expect anything huge to go down, though I imagine a lot of unnecessary hype will leave many disappointed. Which is a shame because this whole event is meant to be celebrating Xbox history. On a side note, I would like to believe they have something up their sleeve, and a part of me is hoping for the very least, that we will have some brilliant gamepass news. That little naive slither of me in the back of my mind is wishing that, as it's an anniversary of xbox, gamepass gets a hoard of original Xbox and Xbox 360 games, such as Max Payne trilogy (could be why take 2 director accidentally slipped that 30 million sub comment) along with Sonic (I know it was panned by many but I actually liked it). Guess time will tell. Best not let the hype train drag you along though

Mine still says special edition. But I had to go into the creation club and saw it said buy for this many points, when I clicked on it it came up as loading, installed.

Is there a install button, I think it's Y. Try pressing it.
Maybe reinstall the game too.
Failing that definitely contact Xbox support. I'm sure they will sort it out for you.

These two goliath companies will push each other to the extremes of quality and we the gamers will reap the rewards. Ultimately however, I feel the future has been paved the way for Xbox, they're immense wealth and forward thinking ideas will become supreme. Even now, Sony seeking PC players as a means to reach more people is testament to the long arm of MS.

Deep pockets, high end cloud technology and profits sought in different areas as opposed to limited to one division is simply why Xbox will eventually take the crown.

That said, Sony won't sleep, it's a mighty Dragon with mighty talents and will do what it needs to in order to maintain its throne. I expect bigger exclusives some that will upset Xbox players, I imagine them loading the big guns like Metal gear, I also imagine them acquiring more studios the likes that will leave Xbox gasping. Yet Xbox will rise to the challenge.

The western RPG market is mostly owned by Xbox. Imagine when they come to gamepass.

Also, I upgraded on game pass and the extra content is awesome. The new quests are fun. The armour (spell armour especially) is great. Also, grey hood is back

I like how the more you die the more painkiller bottles you get. Even on easy this game was challenging. I imagine it'll come to gamepass on the Xbox anniversary
