@HonestHick it's a new Alienware that touts "World's first 39-inch 5K monitor with RGB stripe tandem OLED technology" (so seems cool). I have a 34" 4K OLED I'm using now but wanted to push it a little further.(E Day looked absolutely amazing tho). no speakers is kind of a bummer but i used a headset for now and already pre-ordered the new Sony Pulse Elevates for PC. I hope GTA 6 comes out on PC soon!

well, I just sold my PS5 Pro (for a nice profit) so I can justifiably buy a new 5K monitor to pair with my 5090 PC setup. So, it looks like I'll be forced to wait for the PC release despite the impending FOMO already creeping in lol.

Wolverine I liked but it was definitely an old school, more linear game than I’m used to playing. Not nearly as bad as the reviews although E Day is easily better. Yotei is right up my alley…it’s my first time playing it having just finished Tsushima on PC.

@Nexozi my EXACT 4 games at thr moment and in the same order lol. I finished Wolverine last week, E day last night, just started Yotei (complete edition). Yotei seems like a lot to do (looks amazing on the Pro).

I have been chasing achievements since 2005 and though now I only have PC (and PS5 Pro), I still like to earn them on the app. I just broke a million in August so I’m sure I’ll have quite a few mythics; I’m excited to see when it finally rolls out for everyone.

@RTGX it's a 5090 paired with a Ryzen 7 9850x3d and 64gb of RAM. I bought an Alienware Area 51 Desktop fully decked out a couple months ago. It was about $5300 (on sale!) but that exact same build is now $7200 on their site so I feel like I got a deal lol. I don't even have an Xbox Series X anymore, just Xbox for PC via the app and a PS5 Pro (for their few exclusives and GTA). I was all set to buy the Xbox Series 25th Anniversary edition (even woke up early to do so), but it was gone before I could complete checkout thanks to scalpers. I hope they have a better hardware rollout for Helix.

I've only played a bit of it so far but it looks absolutely amazing on the "Ludicrous" setting preset on PC. I recently invested in a monster rig and it's awesome to see a game really push it to it's limits and look truly "next gen". Lots of cosmetic bits to buy in the store but that's been the case for a while and doesn't distract with FOMO.

What if Musk made an offer Satya couldn't refuse? He's got the funds to easily buy the brand. (to be clear: I don't want that to happen, just saying: never say never-she's not the one making the ultimate decision).

lol. not really moving the needle for me. here's a list of games I would've LOVED to come to game pass this year (or in the near future): re requiem, pragmata, crimson desert, 007 first light, silent hill f (last year but this year is fine too), aliens fireteam 2, blood of the dawnwalker, onimusha, death stranding 2 (xbox when?), stellar blade (same), ac4 black flag resynced, star wars zero company, ff rebirth/remake, castlevania belmont's curse...i can name more but it seems that game pass is the big xbox games (forza, fable, gears, halo etc) which is cool then a bunch of mid to low tier experiences nobody really wants. i have been an active subscriber since 2017 but not sure how much longer.

@Fiendish-Beaver wow! Thanks for the details. One of my greatest (and longest) gaming experiences was getting wave 50 cleared in the original horde mode back in the day. I’ll still play this new version but it sounds a far cry from what made Horde special.

@Fiendish-Beaver can you elaborate on the changes to Horde? I just started a new job and haven't been able to follow E Day as much as I want to. (I'm getting the premium upgrade for PC Game Pass either way). Horde was my favorite mode in the old games.

I've been saying for a LONG time now and I'll repeat it again here. 1. Get rid of Game Pass completely
2. Make online multiplayer free across both console and pc.
3. Make ALL Xbox developed and published EXCLUSIVE to the console and the Xbox PC App ONLY.
I believe this approach will hurt for a while but will turn the brand around provided the games are of a high quality and decent variety. There's a vast catalog of Xbox properties, it's baffling to me that you can play them ALL without even owning an Xbox or downloading the Xbox PC app. As a PC gamer, I've been "forced" to buy a Switch 2 in order to play Nintendo games and also now have recently purchased a PS5 Pro so that I can play their (not very many) exclusives (plus gta because i don't want to wait). Give me a reason to buy an Xbox and I'll gladly do so. Give me a reason to even download the app (which pales in comparison to Steam in both functionality and store offerings).

Gears+Clockwork Revolution+an X25 Series X no non-scalper can actually purchase is not going to be enough to save this brand, unfortunately. PS5 Pro+Steam is where I'll remain. (I wanted to come back, I have over a million gamerscore and I like the badges lol).

I wish there were more Play Anywhere titles (because it's pretty awesome to go from a disc copy to a pc version). Hopefully they expand those offerings in the future significantly.

Helix is gonna be $1800 if it has performance similar to that of a RTX 5080 and 1TB of storage. (They mentioned previously performance would be on par with 5080 so I use that as an example). I personally just bought a new PC with a 5090, 64GBRAM, a 9850X3D CPU, 2TB SSD and it was (on sale!) for $5400 USD. Can’t see Helix being lower than 1000…Steam Machine specs are kinda low for a grand.

Here to claim “I’ll wait for PC release” but I know I won’t be able to resist the FOMO and probably buy it on XSX 🫠.

Can I still play E Day on Steam or the Xbox PC App or do I have to play on my Xbox Series X? This “exclusive “ symbol is confusing me already lol.

I love that we’re debating on whether we want one or not(personally I do despite already owning a 5090 pc and black xsx), as if any of us actually have a fair chance of ordering one before the scalpers buy out the stock in seconds. Remember the 30th anniversary PlayStations and even the Halo infinite xsx were/are impossible to procure at msrp. It sucks.

Somewhat ironically, the wait between Fable 3 and the new one is actually longer than the wait between GTA V and GTA VI. (13 years vs 16+).

fairly underwhelming if it's indeed the long-awaited elite 3. I hope it has TMR sticks at least. (oh, and bumpers that don't stop working after a few days lol).
