Not even Netflix or Disney have a billion a day. How can Xbox think they can achieve this?

I hate to see the studios leave but with how this industry operates with the studio closures, having the studios remain open and funded is a great thing

Nobody wants to have their game release around GTA6 but February is always a busy month even more this time with other games moving to February because of GTA6 I don’t think they’re going to have the breathing room they think they’ll have

Could xbox restructure into what Capcom does with tiered studios. Tier A would cover flagship titles, tier B would be your smaller scale titles and C would be your support studios and funding would be the highest at the top and be lower as you go down

What I suspect will be turn 10 studios will be absorbed into playground games, and compulsion will be shut down. As good south of midnight was it took way too long to make and did not sell well. I believe double fine can make a bigger hit since their next game is a more ambitious one.

@StylesT I think this is a benefit from the 7 dollars saved a month you save 84 dollars. so you can buy cod each year and save 14 dollars

If they want to go back to the roots, I will launch an Xbox classic program bringing back parts of the original Xbox to 360 like avatars, old dashboards, etc. Another thing I liked from double fine was their Amnesia Fortnite. Allow their studios pitch smaller AA games that small teams can work on while also having their main teams working on AAA games.

I wonder why starfield is in the currently on-going project, nothing has been added since 2024.

@OldGamer999 I would suggest watching digital foundry conversation about Fable. They mention how it might not be possible for the game to run at 60fps on console, I don't believe GOY or ACS would be as cpu intensive as fable will be with what it is trying to do with each NPC. I would prefer them pushing the hardware and getting better systems than giving us a 60fps game

I believe SoD3 and Clockwork are coming out next year, so they have halo which I don't think should get a deep dive as they showed so much already so that leaves gears which wouldn't be enough

@OldGamer999 that’ll be a good poll, I think there are going to be some games that will be on the conversation for goty like crimson desert the next plague tale

Has PureXbox ever run a poll or article where you vote on which games you think will be GOTY contenders at the beginning of the year, and then look back at the end to see how accurate everyone was?

I could be wrong but would gta 6 not make it in for nominations, for the last 5 years the nominations were never revealed on or after November 19th

I believe in the same answer he says " The game is still massive and will take a long time to get through it" which I like the sound of.

I feel that it is still worth it because you have to pay to play online which costs 120 a year, add 3 games to that your close to the GPU price a year so if you play more than 3 games a year on it than it is worth it. PC would be a different story tho.

Could it be fake, why would the upgrade give an Italian passion car pass when the game is set in Japan?

If they release halo on PlayStation I doubt it’ll be the mcc collection when they would make more money with individual remasters. They are working on multiple projects so they’re probably remastering each in UE5

I’m happy with more games on ultimate rather than standard being the focus

@Kaloudz I want to see more fable but more details on the mechanics and not just another trailer that they’ve been doing even though I like them. It’ll be good to see the morality system, buying property, etc

@Moparhippy420 if you don’t include games that haven’t been announced there’s still project Mara from ninja theory, whatever halo studios is working on, the new ip from zenimax online, fh6( which would be a stretch I think), obsidian has other projects they’re working on, the next call of duty and what double fine is working on. If you include revealed games there’s OD, blade, clockwork revolution, and a bunch others. They have a lot of games coming out

@NishimuraX I don’t think sales is the big thing they focus on, of course it’s definitely a good part of it but game pass probably makes up for the sales for the smaller games

@TheGameThrifter they’ve only done that for starfield, last year it was black ops 6 which is multi platform

I think this was the footage Jez cordon was talking about and that was 6 months ago so from then to release it’ll be probably 2 years development so a lot can change

@RiverGenie I’ve been using a fire sword as my primary weapon haven’t found a good spell book yet unfortunately

I’ve played around 10 hours so far and it’s great, combat feels really good. One thing I would say could be better is the loot, every chest just gives material for crafting and a random base weapon, I’d like to see better weapon variety in chests

@IOI there were a couple announcements that had a narrator talking over it and Linda ruined the announcement

@swedetrap does that go for Indiana jones, hellblade 2, black ops 6, and starfield I don’t remember those games getting mid 70’s but I remember concord being a ps game and that was 62

@Bobski as much as I’d like for a new console to be shown I don’t think it’ll be this year maybe next year and I really hope it allows other apps like steam and GoG on it. And I agree I played Indiana jones and enjoyed it, not once was thinking I can’t believe ps is getting this, I got to play it that’s what matters

@NeoRatt to be fair the amount of people who complain is a small percentage of the overall fan base. You only hear them because they’re the most vocal

@armondo36 I think they would’ve ported to Xbox if Xbox sold more consoles but it’s way more valuable to port to pc and for Xbox to port to ps

@Daniel1221i do agree that they’re messaging us pretty bad and a case by case basis is why it is. But why does it matter if it’s day and date on everything but on game pass game is is what keeps me on Xbox and a lot of people

@IOI what is the difference of buying it on Xbox or ps you’re playing the same thing on a plastic box that has the same specs

@Isolte what do you think about a one year exclusive for all games, I’m good with timed exclusives but I think Xbox should make it clear that all games go over but at a certain time, a case to case basis just makes it all more confusing

@Isolte well more money = more money spent on games and game pass. Seems pretty simple if you think about it. Xbox is just a platform for game pass to be played on so it’s vital

@VoidPunk for me it’s game pass, I would not be able to afford every game if I bought them full price so game pass is very nice and there are a couple games a year that I’ve played but wouldn’t have if it weren’t for game pass

The more money they make the more money they can spend on getting more games to be day one on game pass

@Fiendish-Beaver also idk if this applies but if everyone would just buy at where it’s cheaper than nobody would buy on Xbox or steam because you can get cheaper keys on CD keys or eneba but since it’s easier on steam or Xbox I think convenience adds a big part. If I can buy Xbox and steam games on one console not having to deal with the upkeep a pc requires that is more enticing for me
