@GiveMeMoney if all major reviewers give it 10/10 across the board an user placed reviews hammer it then that will be obvious. I’m really hopin it lives up to the hype, it’s games like this Xbox needs to really compete with Playstation. If they can pull it off over an over we all win.

@Moonglow quality over quantity. Xbox has Forza M, we know how that will be, it has Starfield which looks incredible but we just don’t know yet. Everyone’s hoping it lives up to the hype, that’s it!! Flight Sim will be great, Age of Empires is wat it is. The rest may be incredible games or they could be more Redfall!! Spiderman 2, Wolverine, TLOU Factions, Ghost of Tsushima 2, KOTOR, all guaranteed to be incredible games!!

Been playing Dead Island 2 an started a career as Wrexham on Fifa 23. Also played the FF16 an Lies of P demos, both very good but my god there’s a lot of cut scenes in FF16!!
Got Diablo 4 for fathers day so will be playin that later wen i’ve taken kids to my dad’s.

@themightyant i thought the Playstation showcase was ok. It wasn’t as good as Xbox imo but they did show a few great lookin games. Yes the fact they only showed one exclusive, 2 if ya count FF16, was disappointing but we know for cert they have some quality games in the pipeline. For some reason Sony decided not to show them, maybe they’re saving them for a future show, maybe the games aren’t at a stage where they can really show gameplay, i dunno. Both systems have some quality looking games coming tho. I’m really hoping Starfield lives up to the hype. It sounds mind blowing!! It’s a similar concept to the classic 80’s game Elite which i played on the ZX Spectrum. Flying ya ship to hundreds of planets, some friendly, some not, mining recourses, buying an selling goods, upgrading ya ship, fighting. That was great, Starfield is Elite x 1000000!!!

@themightyant yeah i get that but it’s def wat Xbox need. PS5 an Series X are pretty similar capable machines, the only reason Playstation outsells Xbox is the exclusive games. If in 2 years Xbox has had 10+ exclusives that are all 10/10, GOTY contenders that would def bridge the gap somewhat.

Imo 55” is the perfect size screen for gaming. I don’t wanna be playin COD team death match an have to turn my head to see people!!

@themightyant this is the only reason i do prefer PS5 over Series X, the games. Playstation exclusives are often masterpieces, The Last of Us Parts 1 an 2 bein my absolute fav games. I’d love it if i absolutely couldn’t choose between them. I’m really hopin Starfield is as good as it sounds, if they pull off what they’ve told us it will be right up there with Playstation exclusives.

Starfield, Forza, MK1, Spiderman 2, Final Fantasy 16, Lies of P an Flight Sim are my most hyped games. A few others i’ll take a look at too.

@TakeItEasy working on can mean anything. It can mean 3 guys in a room. You really think they have 12 live service games full hands on an well on their way? Naughty Dog for one have TLOU Factions well on the way and they’ve said they’re making a brand new ip.

@TakeItEasy why are folk saying Playstation is moving to live service games? Because they showed a few at the showcase an only showed 1 exclusive, 2 if ya count FF16? Playstation know they’re number 1 because they make the best exclusives, no way are they gonna drop this. Live service games are as well as. There are plenty of Playstation exclusives in the pipeline, they’ll show them soon enough. Xbox has released 2 exclusives in the last 2 an half years!! That’s less than 1 per year!!! This year they have Redfall, Starfield an Forza. Redfall an Starfield were meant to be 3rd party games, Forza is fantastic but years old.

I read bout this, apparently it’s kind of a reward. They know the game will sell literally millions more on Playstation, Playstation will make them far more money so Playstation gets the dlc for free!!

He’s basically sayingSquare Enix games not coming to Xbox, (Final Fantasy), has nothing to do with Sony, it’s between Xbox an Square Enix. If Sony paid Square Enix to keep games from Xbox he’d just say that. I’m sure he wouldn’t lie to everyone to stick up for Playstation.

I have been one of the most vocal bout Starfield, saying i hope it lives up to the hype but i’m sceptical. Was genuinley nervous we’d get another Redfall an no way will it live up to Playstation exclusives. I have to say, it looks incredible!!! It’s gorgeous an there’s just so much to do an explore!! J love exploring, most games take me double the stipulated time to finish as i’m an explorer!! Starfield could actually be a bad thing!! I work full time, have a missus an 9 year old twin boys who live up to their names!!! Ronnie an Reggie Bray!! 😂😂
My mood has now changed, i’m almost certain Starfield will be 10/10 across the board. Could Xbox get their first GOTY award!? I think it has a huge chance going on wat we’ve seen so far.

@Fishticon they literally confirmed it releases on 6 September. Unless they delay it again, as it stands, it releases September 6th 2023.

Starfield, Forza M, an similar or same as Playstation showcase. There will be no Indiana, there will be no Fable, there will be no Hellblade. Pointless buildin ya hopes up.

Remember pre Playstation showcase??? Everyone was full of predictions for games we’d see. We know Playstation has some absolute bangers in the pipeline but only one of them was shown an people were disappointed. Can see Xbox showcase going same way. No way will we see Fable or Indiana!! Hellblade is doubtful!! Starfield, Forza an a load of similar an same games Playstation showed. That’s my prediction. Don’t get ya hopes up an ya won’t be disappointed.

The interaction with characters you come across has to better than Red Dead Redemption 2. That game is amazing, you can interact with pretty much anyone and you develop a reputation, people remember you and react accordingly. If ya a nice person people will. Say hi, welcome you, offer you a drink. If you’re a bit of a ***** people will avoid you or scowl at ya, even start trouble with ya. I also hope there is lots of variety in the planets you visit. It needs to feel like i’m in a new world. Simply changing colours of things won’t do it. The game sounds too good to be true, if they can pull this off this could be right up there with Playstation exclusives. Might even get Xbox first GOTY award.

Love the original Robocop movie. Think i’ll wait for this to hit Game Pass or PS+ tho. Diablo 4, Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy 16 an Mortal Kombat 1 are my next games.

Xbox have a chance to really shine an up the anti after the Playstation showcase. I don’t think the PS showcase was bad to be fair, it’s just with Sony’s rep for their incredible exclusives they only gave us one, 2 if ya count Final Fantasy 16. They do have some bangers in the pipeline but for wat ever reason they opted not to show us. There was also a lot of hype an crazy predictions which lead to folk being disappointed. I just hope all these rumours bout Xbox showcase don’t make it go the same way. We def have Starfield, there is that. Hopefully Xbox won’t disappoint.

I really can’t get in to this game, it’s a bit dog *****!! Annoying that the game is constantly interrupted an i’m forced on a stage to do a timing thing which is hard to do an ya can’t go any further until ya master it!! I JUST WANNA PLAY THE GAME!!!! STOP MAKIN ME DO THESE!!!! 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

They should do a multi game release!! Final Fight, Street Fighter 1 an 2, Res Evil 1, Mega Man, etc!!

Saw this a few months ago on PS5, it looks pretty fun. One of those pick up an play for an hour games, not much thinkin needed, just if it moves kill it!!

@UltimateOtaku91 they should give us Xbox 360 classics!! I never owned a 360, bought Left for Dead 2 for my Series X a couple of weeks ago.

@Banjo- do you honestly think if Xbox had a player base equal to Playstation MS would do timed exclusive deals? I really think they would mate. They had a close player base in the 360 days an the 360 had numerous timed exclusives. Xbox One an Series S/X haven’t been able to as a huge majority of console games sell on Playstation. I don’t think Sony do it to hurt Xbox gamers as you say, they do it in the hope Xbox gamers will either switch to Playstation or buy both consoles. I’ve had every Playstation, Series X is my first Xbox. I bought it because i wanna play Starfield, Hellblade2, Indiana Jones an i’ve always wanted to try Forza Horizon. Always loved Gran Turismo an been told by Xbox gamers Forza is as good or better so wanted to see for myself. So the strategy does work. Had MS not bought Starfield, (Bethesda), i maybe wouldn’t have bought a Series X an i’d have never discovered Game Pass.

@Moonglow they never said they can’t afford it they said the income from an Xbox version doesn’t justify the extra work involved.

Just because they weren’t shown at the showcase isn’t a big deal. Xbox has Starfield an Forza, Forza is wat it is, we know wat it’ll be like. A fantastic, Gran Turismo style racing game. Starfield is anyone’s guesse. It could be a 10/10, it could be another Redfall, we just don’t know.

@Moonglow @Tharsman i’m just telling you what i read in numerous articles an interviews. You say they’re lying, nothing i can really say to that. Even is Sony did pay for exclusivity there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s business. Xbox did it in the 360 day when the player base was similar. Atari 2600 were the first to do it. If Xbox had the same size player base as Playstation they’d do it too.

@Tharsman Sony don’t pay Square Enix anything, Square Enix took the decision not to release Final Fantasy on Xbox as they said it wasn’t worth the extra work. Games sell far more on Playstation.
