@Tasuki EXACTLY! CoD can't go around calling itself "realistic" or "edgy" with weed chameleons and Beavis shooting at a green dragon! This is why I like older games. Because there are no idiotic characters in them. I'm not against characters who actually fit in like the Terminator but I am very against guys like that freaking cardboard character.
@WildConcept6 Oh yeah I saw that. I recently went back to MWII because of a friend recommendation, but I noticed celebrities and other stupid stuff. Honestly aside from Gunsmith and special modes, I just play Counter Strike.
I'm a PC player and the EA app absolutely SUCKS. On console though I did get a bit of use out of it. For PC all I would use it for would be Titanfall which I already own and Dead Space.
@Kaloudz I played through the first 3 campaigns and stopped midway through Reach to go through Half-Life. But I didn't like Infinite's campaign at all lol. That was my main reason for playing these games.
@Kaloudz I'm picking up Isolation at the steam sale. I wanted to try the VR Mod for the "authentic alien experience" But Fireteam looks like it'll be more fun with actual teammates instead of randoms or AI.
@Lrapsody Yeah... I used to play Bo6 MP a lot but with the Beavis and Butthead skins.... just why. WHY? It's quite literally the most moronic thing I've ever seen in a CoD game.
@Kaloudz Personally I prefer PC streaming, But it would be nice to have like a toggle or something. And as for Stardew Valley that would not make much of a difference as it's a pixelated game. A game that it would make a difference for would be something like Halo Infinite or Doom the Dark Ages. For example: I played Arkane's PREY on PC but the Console version has some impressive visuals but ultimately it felt off for a PC gamer like myself. I think that their console based streaming is a good way for people with a series S to play beefier games but I think PC streaming with something like GeForce Now is the more accessible option. Plus it's not limited to Xbox. But with the next Xbox reportedly being a Gaming PC it will be interesting to see how this goes. Heck with the Steam functionality being added to the Xbox app they might be headed more in the PC direction than we thought.
@Kaloudz Xcloud was mainly used for Console as NvidiaGeforceNOW Dominated PC streaming. Console games have different refresh rates and run different to their PC counterparts. A keyboard press registers faster than a console button and may throw a few Console players off. Some console versions are completely different from Xbox versions. And it is only tied to XPA.
@trev666 Yeah I agree. GeForce now is extremely usable for Mobile, Xbox and more. Heck I think it's on switch 2. But XCloud is console based and the few times I tried to use it it was awful. I would rather Amazon Luna or something. GeForce is also free, not counting the prices of the games. Also its not just Xbox PC it's also Steam and Epic.
@TrevorP86 Yeah GeForce now is better because it includes almost the entire PCGP library and if you own a game on the Xbox PC app you've been able to stream it too. It also works with Epic, Ubisoft, battle.net and steam. So it's just better.
I'm 100% tuning into this. Already hoping for some Prime Video related news and some more on Half Life, ES6, Silksong, RE:9 and Black ops 7 and more. Definitely watching this year.

Re: Battlefield 6 Price & Release Date Leak Ahead Of 2025 Xbox Launch
Time to actually use the horrid EA app again.....
Re: Microsoft Reverts Price Increase For The Outer Worlds 2, Will Launch For $70 On Xbox
@Questionable_Duck Reason for that is so they don't have literal riots for stupid skins in an 80$ game.
Re: Microsoft Reverts Price Increase For The Outer Worlds 2, Will Launch For $70 On Xbox
Huh. Interesting. Guess pre orders didn't do well or everyone already has XGP lol
Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Locked In A November Release Date For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
@WildConcept6 Oh yeah I saw that. I recently went back to MWII because of a friend recommendation, but I noticed celebrities and other stupid stuff. Honestly aside from Gunsmith and special modes, I just play Counter Strike.
Re: 'Battlefield 6' Confirmed As The Next Mainline Entry, Reveal Coming This Week
@WildConcept6 I know there will be some microtransactions, it's EA for gosh sake. But I'm talking about Beavis and Butthead in Call of Fortnite.
Re: Xbox Game Studios: All Microsoft First-Party Developers & What They're Working On
@jesse_dylan Gotta make the stupid skins for the kids
Re: Xbox Game Studios: All Microsoft First-Party Developers & What They're Working On
@Fiendish-Beaver more crapfest halo games I guess.
Re: Xbox Game Studios: All Microsoft First-Party Developers & What They're Working On
Can't wait to see what Arkane cooks up. ID software too. Heck I'd love a Quake 5. And if only we could get Prey 2... Rip Arkane Austin.
Re: 'Battlefield 6' Confirmed As The Next Mainline Entry, Reveal Coming This Week
@Tasuki Stopped playing Bo6 for that reason. Hopefully BF6 isn't a microtransaction filled slop fest like modern CoD.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Locked In A November Release Date For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
@WildConcept6 I'm just playing these for the solo mode after the crapfest of microtransactions in Bo6.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Locked In A November Release Date For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
@stefan771 I heard some rumors.
Re: Talking Point: Five Years On, How Much Longer Can Xbox & EA Play's Partnership Last?
I'm a PC player and the EA app absolutely SUCKS. On console though I did get a bit of use out of it. For PC all I would use it for would be Titanfall which I already own and Dead Space.
Re: Three Games Are Available This Week With Xbox Game Pass (July 22-24)
As someone who played through Half-Life in 4-6 different ways, I'm 100% trying Abiotic Factor.
Re: Abiotic Factor Brings Its Amazing Multiplayer Survival Game To Xbox Game Pass In July
Totally playing this.
Re: Random: This Incredible 'Skewer' Kill Shows How Impressive Halo Infinite's Physics Are
@Kaloudz I played through the first 3 campaigns and stopped midway through Reach to go through Half-Life. But I didn't like Infinite's campaign at all lol. That was my main reason for playing these games.
Re: 25 Of The Best Xbox Play Anywhere Games In The Summer Sale 2025
@Kaloudz I'm picking up Isolation at the steam sale. I wanted to try the VR Mod for the "authentic alien experience" But Fireteam looks like it'll be more fun with actual teammates instead of randoms or AI.
Re: Random: This Incredible 'Skewer' Kill Shows How Impressive Halo Infinite's Physics Are
@Kaloudz These are even in the campaign lol. I once shot a grunt with the shock pistol and he flew hundreds of feet into the air.
Re: 25 Of The Best Xbox Play Anywhere Games In The Summer Sale 2025
@Kaloudz I was going to ask the same thing. I've been looking for some more good Alien after Rogue Incursion. Heard Isolation was really good.
Re: Talking Point: As A Game Pass Subscriber, Do You Still Spend Money In Xbox Sales?
Uhh no. I buy games off of steam but not Xbox. I only play XGP games on xbox.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 19-20)
Still having a lot of fun with FBC Firebreak, and I'm going to try to actually finish Doom the Dark Ages. On steam I've been playing Peak lately.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Locked In A November Release Date For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
@Lrapsody Yeah... I used to play Bo6 MP a lot but with the Beavis and Butthead skins.... just why. WHY? It's quite literally the most moronic thing I've ever seen in a CoD game.
Re: Random: This Incredible 'Skewer' Kill Shows How Impressive Halo Infinite's Physics Are
Ok I hate infinite but that was sick.
Re: Microsoft Movies & TV Is Officially Ending, Which Will Have A Big Impact On Xbox
Everyone hurry and get movies anywhere up and running!
Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Locked In A November Release Date For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
Nice. I was worried this was a 2026 game.
Re: Oblivion Remastered Dev Hit With Layoffs As Company 'Restructures' In 2025
BOOOOOO!! This is absolutely DISGRACEFUL
Re: Deals: All 70+ Backwards Compatible Games In The Xbox Summer Sale 2025
Is Microsoft TRYING to get us PC CoD players RCEd?
Re: Xbox Console Exclusive 'ExoMecha' Finally Has A New Release Window
That trailer is definitely fake.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Is Working On Next-Gen Cloud Gaming, Including PC-Based Streaming
@WildConcept6 I actually think they give you access to some games with the subscription. I don't mind using the free plan on mobile though.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Is Working On Next-Gen Cloud Gaming, Including PC-Based Streaming

Re: Rumour: Xbox Is Working On Next-Gen Cloud Gaming, Including PC-Based Streaming
@trev666 I completely agree. PC cloud is dominated by GeForce but for Xcloud it can help series s players run beefier games.
Re: Xbox Adds 30+ Games To 'Stream Your Own Game' Library, Including Some Big Titles
GeForce now has most of these already...
Re: Rumour: Xbox Is Working On Next-Gen Cloud Gaming, Including PC-Based Streaming
@Kaloudz Certain PCs can run better than a series X. And they have better settings and performance and such.
Re: Rumour: Xbox Is Working On Next-Gen Cloud Gaming, Including PC-Based Streaming
@trev666 Yeah I agree. GeForce now is extremely usable for Mobile, Xbox and more. Heck I think it's on switch 2. But XCloud is console based and the few times I tried to use it it was awful. Re: Talking Point: The Xbox Summer Sale 2025 Is Upon Us, So What Are You Hoping To See?
I'm broke for game money from the steam sale so I'm not getting anything. I'll stick to the XGP library for now.
Re: Xbox Brings 'Stream Your Own Game' To PC App For The First Time
@TrevorP86 Yeah GeForce now is better because it includes almost the entire PCGP library and if you own a game on the Xbox PC app you've been able to stream it too. It also works with Epic, Ubisoft, battle.net and steam. So it's just better.
Re: Poll: Which Of Xbox's Fall 2025 Games Are You Most Excited About?
I still haven't finished OW1 but I'm looking forward to Bo7 and OW2. Might play Ninja Gaiden but keeper is a definite skip for me.
Re: Xbox Brings 'Stream Your Own Game' To PC App For The First Time
Nvidia GeForce Now exists already. And they don't force you to use a controller.
Re: Xbox's Full Black Ops 7 Reveal 'Kicks Off' Gamescom 2025 In August
@FarmDog08 They tried adding them but they can't because the PC versions contain a deadly RCE hack. They have security issues so they can't be added.

Re: Starfield DLC Reportedly Still In The Works Alongside The Elder Scrolls 6
There is NO WAY this exists. And who would buy it?!
Re: These Eight Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (July 17-August 1)
Might give Abiotic Factor a try.
Re: Oblivion Remastered Is Getting A Physical Release For Xbox Series X
@Coletrain Because they want money
Re: Oblivion Remastered Is Getting A Physical Release For Xbox Series X
The disk is going to basically serve the same purpose as a Steam Key.

@FraserG oh ok. I've heard you can backdoor it though.
