@DaveTheRave Yeah you got a point. Personally I've got my own setup and avoid games like this but If you don't want to worry about this then console is the right way to go. Keep an eye out though because I've seen console CoDs on PS5 and Xbox have big hacking epidemics before.

Ready or Not... Hmm... I've got a friend who wants to play that but I'll pass.

@DaveTheRave I get that. And it is on Console too, just in different form. But seriously this is not a laughing matter. Some people who just wanted to enjoy some CoD now have to completely reset their PC's and accounts.

@Tasuki Yeah I get the point. But why not fix the PC version and release the console version for those guys. Or do a Cloud version or something. Now I only play on PC these days. But I am more concerned about my PC than playing an old Call Of Duty. Seriously this is a awful look for them.

Neat. I've already got a Backbone one so I don't need one but I definitely recommend using one of these for Xbox Cloud, Amazon Luna or Nvidia GeForce Now.

@DaveTheRave We don't all hack you know .... It's a in game exploit and people are literally buying these CoDs for criminal activities. It's not like that at all.

@Tasuki Yeah I get that. But honestly it's a really bad look on Activision to bring these to GP. But the problem is that it's better to fix these slowly. Maybe put a group of 10 people or something on it and fix one game at a time. I'd rather wait than get RCEd.

Well Halo Studios is going to screw it up anyway... Maybe remaster Halo 3 instead of one that was already remastered by a team who can make halo games and not ruin them.

It's... Different... But interesting. The secret Level episode was great so I'll keep an eye on this one.

The surprising thing is that they actually added this to Xbox Game Pass. Every CoD game before Infinite Warfare and after Modern Warfare 2 (Old one) has this exploit. This was discovered back in like 2022. Why are they only now looking at this?! I didn't get any of the CoD games I wanted to play because of this hack. Shame on you Activision for not caring about your players. Really messed up that they would add this.

@Soup-Rules It's literally the greatest collection ever made.

I still remember finishing Halo CE. One of my favorites. But nothing beats finally getting through my number one Xbox game ever: Halo 2. Me and a friend had worked on the campaign Co-op and finally beat it after a few months.

Does the Orange Box count? Also I use my 360 for older games and such. I do like the old CoDs though.

I'm a PC first Xbox second player so I got a few games at the Steam sale. I've been playing a lot of Call Of Duty WWII, And just started Resident Evil 2 Remake. I also have been playing a lot of mods. I've been enjoying Doom 3 and Quake 2 VR.

Surprising no one.

I'd play it. But if the game was continued outside of Microsoft does that mean no XGP Release?

I would have totally gotten that on GP. I'll wait for a better Steam Deal for now though.

That's unfortunate. I have recently been looking for some MMOS and ESO Was my standout favorite.

Snagged CoD WWII On PCGP a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. I think I like it better than Bo6. Can't wait for some more older CoD's on GP! (I was going to play space marine but I have the original one on steam already.)

A quick note: All of these games were identified to have RCE hacks that let hackers remotely control your PC. MW1 or CoD4 was confirmed to be safe but every game after MW2 had hacks. Maybe they are finally fixing these.
