Re: Talking Point: Could Microsoft Be Interested In Acquiring Netflix?

Cyberpsycho

Even if Microsoft wanted to buy it would be blocked by the regulators. It's a different time to when Disney brought everything they wanted.

Microsoft have absolutely no experience in producing films and TV shows or shown any interest. Look how many years it's taken to finally take Xbox and gaming seriously. It got so bad last gen I thought they were going to stop making consoles.

Will never happen and don't want them to ruin Netflix.

Re: 10 Random 'Gamers' Are Suing Microsoft Over The Activision Blizzard Deal

Cyberpsycho

This is getting ridiculous hope it gets thrown out and the plaintiffs loose money. Just a few salty fanboys trying it on nothing more.

Unfortunately could stall the deal even further probably won't close until 2024 if ever. I think Microsoft should just let it go and invest the money elsewhere. They can start by hiring more staff so they can get games out for a start.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Buying In The Xbox Countdown Sale 2022?

Cyberpsycho

I was tempted to buy Elden Ring but really not sure if I would like it as not a fan of souls games. A shame it doesn't have a trial or demo so I could be certain. Nothing worse than buying a digital game you don't like and getting refused a refund cause it's been played a couple of hours.

Saying that I should save my money as just spent £330 on the Final Fantasy XVI collectors edition. I could only justify it by calling it an early Christmas present.

Re: What's All This About A Cheaper, Ad-Filled Version Of Xbox Game Pass?

Cyberpsycho

Not interested in adds no matter how cheap as would ruin the experience. Wouldn't even be worth it if you can't access first party games for 6 months or the full catalogue.

They should deffo get rid of gold and make online free we already pay for internet and PC players are not forced to pay extra each month. It's been poor for years and made even worse removing 360 games and reducing the amount of games they give out.

Re: Pick One: Which Is Your Favourite Final Fantasy Game On Xbox?

Cyberpsycho

On Xbox XII they are all good in their own way as I like all the different settings. Prefer the action ones as I really don't like turn based pleased they swapped to make them more modern.

Looking forward to XVI on PS and treated myself to an early Christmas present by pre ordering the collectors edition. I would have brought it on Xbox but not waiting years.

Re: The Best Deals From The Xbox Countdown Sale 2022

Cyberpsycho

@FraserG It would be but still has many issues look at the reviews. The Diablo games are excellent especially 3.

I had to get it refunded a couple of weeks ago as the servers wouldn't work. I had great difficulty signing up for an account took several attempts. When the game finally did load there was no sound. However some seem to have no problems.

Re: Bethesda Talks Starfield Quests In New Developer Deep Dive

Cyberpsycho

@BAMozzy I'm certainly not expecting perfection just don't want loads of game breaking bugs. For example on Skyrim still has many bugs years after launch as they don't fix them. The last straw for that game when the save corrupted after playing over 40 hours wiping my progress.

At least Cyberpunk eventually got fixed.

Re: Poll: What Is Your Xbox Game Of The Year For 2022?

Cyberpsycho

@trev666 I thought As Dusk falls had a weird PowerPoint presentation where characters didn't move I don't think it worked very well. I appreciate that they tried something different.
Also thought the ending of the story was rushed and could have done with another book or two. It wasn't a bad game overall but Horizon Forbidden West beats it hands down but it wasn't as good as the first one.

Re: Poll: What Is Your Xbox Game Of The Year For 2022?

Cyberpsycho

A plague tale: Requiem although the ending was a bit brutal. Also Hugo could be annoying.

None of the Xbox exclusives as barely released anything apart from the awful Pentiment.

Sony killed it with Horizon Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok. Hopefully next year M$ actually has something to offer of their own. Phil and co were happy to praise and advertise for PS while they had nothing but broken promises for another year.

Re: Microsoft Has Again Reduced The Xbox Series S For Christmas 2022

Cyberpsycho

I recently bought a barely used Series S for £75 from Vinted. It didn't have a controller but I have plenty of spare ones.

My dad will be happy this Christmas as he only has an original PS4 and desperately needs an upgrade. He can also use my Game Pass and paid for games for free. Should keep him busy now he's retired.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 GOTY Edition To Launch After 'Phantom Liberty' Expansion

Cyberpsycho

Really looking forward to the DLC but it's been so long since I've played it have forgotten the story and controls. Hopefully the DLC is set in space the best ending

Shame that they are only doing one expansion but suppose it makes more sense to start work on the sequel. Taken too long to fix a broken game that shouldn't have been released.

Re: Pure Xbox Game Club December 2022: Pentiment

Cyberpsycho

I couldn't stand Pentiment incredibly boring with endless walls of pretentious text with no voice overs. 1 out of 10 and is actually the worse game I've played this year by far.

Disappointed with Obsidian I really hope M$ ups it's game next year and finally starts delivering. Last chance or many will leave the platform for a competitor with a regular schedule of quality games.

Nobody will be accepting another year of excuses.

Re: Microsoft 'Likely' To Offer Remedies Soon For Activision Blizzard Deal In Europe, Claims Report

Cyberpsycho

I would rather M$ use the money to invest in the studios they already have. Maybe actually hire competent management and some more staff to get games out. No reason why the studios they have can't be expanded so they can make more titles at once.

All these studios and they can't get one decent game out in a year. Obviously just trying to buy themselves to the top taking the easy option instead of hard work.

This money could be better used elsewhere.
