Hogwarts Legacy Suffers Delay For Xbox One, But Not Xbox Series X|S

The release of Hogwarts Legacy is now just a couple of months away (crazy, huh?), but if you were looking forward to playing the game on Xbox One, we've got some bad news - it's been delayed until April 4th, 2023.

To be clear, that delay only affects the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, while Nintendo Switch has also been pushed back to July 25th. The Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5 and PC versions are all still scheduled for February 10th, 2023, with an early access period going live three days earlier.

"We want to deliver the best possible experience to the entire community, no matter which platform they choose. That said, we're excited to announce the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions have gone gold!"

Back in early November, we were treated to our first proper deep dive into Hogwarts Legacy's gameplay with a 40-minute showcase, and you'll be able to view another of these on the Hogwarts Legacy YouTube channel tomorrow at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. If you're interested in the game, it definitely looks like it'll be worth a watch!

We can't wait to try this one — let's hope it can live up to the hype of the wizarding world next year!
