It's only my third nfs game so I can't compare it with the others. It's a solid arcade racer and it's visually very impressive, no shortcomings on the technical side either. Objectively it at least works how it should.
The police chases are way harder and more diverse than in Heat, where it was already pretty hard until you maxed out your car, at that point it became a breeze right. But in Unbound they have multiple types of cars that shake it up a bit.
Car customization seems to be about the same.
The (anime) effects were very divisive indeed, most of the negative shouts I heard came from the older generation of gamers. I think you should be safe, if you like it, it does open up a whole lot on the customization side. I personally dig it, thought it was sick and made it stand out.
I mean it's not like we want more copy and paste games right lol
Overall pretty decent, if you like the genre you'll like the soundtrack, if not connect your spotify/apple music.

@Zoidpilot4 yeah they seem to have come to a bit of a halt for the past two months in my opinion.
Maybe they expected the actibliz deal to go through sooner, that would've meant a whole backlog of games + diablo IV.
Anyway nfs is bound to keep me busy for a short while until dead space drops as well

@Banjo- I prefer the ps store, it's weird how the xbox store doesn't have a price filter. Also weird how the whole tv section refuses to work.
Was in the insider beta for a long while and reported the bugs, was never fixed. I'm out of it now, rebooted xbox and all but it still won't load 😂

@UndyingInsurgent95 actually not the biggest fan of Dontnod but their Vampyr game was excellent and the cinematic they put out for Banishers was amazing yh!! I had actually already forgotten about it within a week lol
I like focus entertainment so much I actually signed up for their playtesting programme yo 😭 (because you get free games)
I've only ever gotten an invite to go to their HQ for on site playtests but I don't speak french sadly, or at least not enough 🥲
I hope microsoft get some sort of gamepass deal going on with them, I really wanna play Evil West already, its sales haven't been enticing enough but it looks amazing and also playable in co-op!!

@Markatron84 I thought EA already took 'measures' to stop that by just not giving those games trials, back when Jedi Fallen Order released it didn't get a trial and they went on to say it wasn't because it was short or sth, seemed like bs though.

But as far as games go if it manages to lean the way of Uncharted and even sth quirky like Strange Brigade I'm all ears, if anything I hope we get some gameplay.

Mannnn ngl I've been watching the Indy movies in anticipation of the new movie and the game and they're wackkk, most def have not held up well at all.
Some saving graces at least but it totally killed my hype for the game.

Fifa by far. So nothing really. Planet of Lana got boring fast, nice setting though.
Had some real war of the world vibes early on, but just too little meaningful filling inbetween.
Pretty sad I couldn't like Eastern Exorcist, it looked really neat.

@BRT15 I thought the Epic deal was a bit shady as well but now that we've actually seen Alan Wake 2 it seems to have gone okay.
Hope the same rings true for Fumito Ueda's game.
