@Zoidpilot4 I've been playing games since the Master System where most games ran at 60fps. it was only the introduction of 3D when games dropped to 30fps.
Since playing VR I've started getting bad motion sickness which is more noticeable at lower framerates. MH Rise and Redfall were unplayable for me as a result.
I also don't understand the argument that because games used to run at 30fps we should be happy with that now .
TV used to be B&W would you be happy with that on a current screen? Things evolve and games should get better over time not worse.

It's killed all my hype for the game, 30fps gives me motion sickness so will be a no go for me.
We should be given options on how we want to play games, the raytracing and graphics will have to be phenomenal to justify the poor frame rate.

Shame they couldn't get anyone to help with a decent Framerate.

Another Xbox exclusive that can't hit the framerates we were promised when buying the console.
I grabbed a 120hz TV to go alongside the Series X and now the exclusives can't even manage 60fps.
If I wanted to play games at 30fps I would play on the Switch not a current gen system

@Episode_13 I've only recently picked up a PS5 so I still have loads from thier back catalogue with many of these titles on PS+ Extra.

I've had my Series X from launch so I have already played everything I wanted.
Unfortunately the releases so far this year have been pretty lacklustre, there hasn't been anything that shows off "next gen" games - Atomic Heart, Redfall, GhostWire Tokyo, Minecraft Legends have all be pretty underwhelming.

@Wheatly I also have a Switch and PS5 so hardly play on the Xbox, there's been hardly any games out recently that has justified it.
I was super excited for Redfall but after the state rhat was released in I've not bothered with my Gamepass sub this month as there wasn't worth paying for. Most of the titles I want to play are available on PS+ anyway, will see what is announced and what state Starfield launches in but its just collecting dust atm.

It will be the deciding factor if I keep my Xbox or not.

Really looking forward to this.

I hate to say this but PS+Extra has significantly more value than GP. I've had GP for over a year so have cleared the backlog of games I wanted to play and decent new releases are grinding to a halt. May grab a months sub when Starfield drops otherwisr will emigrate to the PS5 as my full-time console.

I hate the Xbox dashboard.
It reminds me of an ADHD kids MySpace page, it even has adverts flashing up everywhere, just pure sensory overload.

The PS5 has the nicest dash in my opinion.

I've not come across much Toxicity on Xbox, but in fairness I have a pretty twisted sense of humour so probably dont notice. I got booted out of a party for jokingly telling a new player that I would hard carry him in Gunfire Reborn if he sent me nudes of his sister, it didn't go down well
If I'm joining randoms, I tend to go for 420 Lobbies when searching the LFG boards, stoners are definitely more chill and know how to take a dark joke - as well as sharing plenty themselves.

#edit for clarification, the dude was in his mid 20's and it was his older sister who was 35.
It all started because one of the guys was talking about a friends hot sister and things escalated.

Meh, it really shows how poor Xbox are doing when over half of the top 10 are ports and remakes.

I was interested in GhostLore but when I went to download realised its couch co-op only so will give that one a pass.
ARPG's get pretty boring playing solo.

People kicking of about Redfall running at 30fps yet creaming themselves over Nintendo for releasing a standardHD game running at 30fps.

It was really close between Dishonored 2 and Deathloop, I voted D2 as if I had to choose which one I would want to replay right now it would be that one.
I'm currently playing through Redfall and now I'm over my Initial disappointment I'm having a really good time playing it with a friend - although we have encountered numerous glitches and bugs the moment to moment gameplay is pretty fun if somewhat basic and repetitive.

Think I will cancel my GamePass for a while, there's nothing coming out that I feel justifies an extra subscription.

This is such a missed opportunity, I was really hyped for this but then there was the 30FPS fiasco followed by these luke warm reviews.
I only have a few days left of GamePass and don't think I will be rushing out to resubscribe unless this grips my attention, there's just not enough exclusive content getting released to justify another subscription service atm.

I see they still haven't updated the Framerates.
I genuinely don't know why I upgraded to the new gen consoles as there's nothing that truly justifies the jump from last gen. Even first party games like Redfall are launching incomplete

Shame, suppose I will cancel my Gamepass sub once I've finished Redfall. There's nothing coming out after that I'm excited about to justify paying for both Gamepass and PS+

If I wanted to play a new game that was poorly optimised and runs at 30fps I would pick up my Switch.
I expect more from next gen games, especially exclusives released 2 years into a consoles life cycle.
