@The-Grezzly-Bear Same! I played the 10 hour free trial and it felt great but just wasn't willing to spend the money on it when I know it will be on EA Play soon enough.
I struggle to believe the 'demand' for an Inspector Gadget game is significantly higher on both Playstation and PC. Are Playstation and PC players known to be hardcore Inspector Gadget fans?
@AverageGamer I have a feeling game optimization is only going to get worse and worse for the Series S. We're already seeing games come out locked at 30 FPS on a Series X even.
By all the talk about this game online I was concluding that this game would be terrible so I'm glad there's some positive light on it now. Still don't think it's worth full price for me though.
Companies need to stop giving definitive dates for games and instead give people release windows. Its getting to the point where we need to add 3-6 months to the initial release date for every game.
Microsoft doesn't need to cut off PlayStation in the slightest because they already have a massive advantage - game pass.
If you were to give a call of duty fan the option to either a) get the new cod on day 1 on game pass or b) pay full price for it on Playstation which one do you think most people will pick?
It works as intended for me as I already have a high-end PC. I use the Series S essentially as a game pass machine and for those purposes it has delivered.
However, I must say that although having a PC that can play anything you throw at is great, its pretty hard to beat a Series X in terms of ease of use. If the stock shortages weren't a thing I think I would have opted for a Series X instead of sinking the money that I did into a high-end PC.
@Fishticon Bleeding Edge feels like a game that was ahead of its time. The concept itself was cool but it received practically no after-launch support and subsequently didn't build a sizeable playerbase.
It's hard to tell whether they'll make it Xbox exclusive or not. To me the best play would be to make it available on playstation while also making it free on game pass. Xbox will still have a massive advatange having it on game pass but at least it wont alienate the playstation user base.
@Geezer True, but that also requires you to physically go to a used game store, hope they have the game you're looking for and maybe get a marginally better price.
You're paying for the convenience of digital games more than anything.

Re: Gotham Knights Is Getting A 'Larger' Patch To Improve Performance
You're telling me this game is having challenges maintaining 30 FPS?! Good lord what a mess.
Re: Warner Bros Reveals Why Gotham Knights Will Be 30FPS On Xbox Series X|S
Did they design this game to run on an xbox 360? 30fps on a game releasing in 2022 is completely unacceptable.

Re: Calico Gets Review Bombed On Xbox, Dev Calls For 'Better Moderation'
Hate to break it to these devs but no one's going out of their way to 'review bomb' an obscure indie game about owning a cat cafe.
People using the xbox review system to spew hateful speech however is a whole other issue and Microsoft should absolutely look into this.

@Spazmonic it still feels too clunky on console with a controller especially when so many other games have done it better over the years.
