Still just all Grim Dawn for me. I'm a decent way through the main campaign but then have all the dlc to conquer. Been doing a lot of the bounty quests on the side to help level up, take my time and enjoy the ride. Not in a hurry for this one to end.
Got my first Xbox, a One X, for $50 from a friend who was moving in December 2023 so the plan was to just skip this generation and wait for the next. There's no way I'd pay that kind of money, after the price increases, for a Series X that late in the generation. If I'm gonna pay top dollar, it's gonna be for the latest greatest hardware. Besides, my backlog on my One X and Switch is big enough to last multiple generations.
Man I've had Victor Vran Overkill Edition on my wishlist forever, way over a year, waiting and waiting for a sale. That game never goes on sale, always seems like only the same ones do! Would be cool if it finally did with this one but honestly really starting to lose hope. Same goes for Divinity II-DKS.
Never bought a console at launch. Got a ColecoVision about a year in, an NES about 2 years in, an N64 about a year in, then gamed on PC until getting a Switch in Dec. of 19 (but the ex took that after the divorceš), a Switch OLED in Dec. of 22 and finally an Xbox One X with 5 physical games and 2 controllers for $50 from a buddy who was moving in Dec. of 2023. All very much worth it, especially the One X!
Gonna have to say the Xbox One X. Haven't upgraded to a Series X/S console and am still playing on an external SSD enhanced One X and love it! Still has enough features of a current gen system to keep me content from upgrading to a Series console especially now after their price hike. My only complaint is not being able to play some current gen titles which is a shame because if the Switch 2 can handle some of these, I know the One X could as well. Oh well, will have to upgrade eventually but now just gonna wait till next gen.
Glad to hear since I still play on a One X. It also makes sense to do last gen too if they're supposedly bringing the cod franchise to Switch 2 and developing the game with its power in mind.
The real frustration for me is they keep re-releasing Star Wars games like this, which is fine and all, but not giving me and what I think many of us want by just getting to the actual good stuff and re-releasing Rogue Squadron/Leader.
