Yeah, not really a fan of open world racing myself. I like to keep it on the track.

I'm playing a lot of Zombie Survivors and Soulstone Survivors at the moment, they are sooo addictive.

I never played Cold War, so will definitely give that a go.
I really like the look and sound of Shelldiver too.

A bit late to the party, but I discovered a bit of a gem at the weekend, and if you're into games like Vampire Survivors or Brotato, then you'll love it. It's called 'Yet Another Zombie Survivors', and at £12.49, it's even sweeter.

Mmm! Are those two the main characters? They look a bit forgettable.

@FarmDog08 Same here. I put in 2-3 hours on most evenings whilst my partner watches her soaps on TV 😂

@DarthNadroj I'm pretty sure a lot of gamers would be interested in these type of games, and that others aren't that interested in the games you mentioned.

I'm really no good at fighting games. All those wacky button pressing combos you got to remember hurts my head and fingers. I did play Tekken and Soul Blade back in the day, but never played this. Might give it a go whilst it's on GP.

@dskatter Exactly what I was thinking. Not to be over cynical, but that playtime could easily have been scripted before they got anyone in to watch. There's no way this game will be buttery smooth on release.

Games like GTA are fun for the first few hours, but the novelty soon wears off... for me anyway.

Yall focused on the graphics and how amazing it looks, doesn't mean the game is going to be GOTY, it needs to be fun and have replayability. Graphics don't mean nothing.

@HonestHick Meh! I don't know about that. I'm currently playing Space Marine 2 and it looks and plays amazing.

Some of the new titles did look visually impressive, just not my cup of tea.

Not for me, I'm sticking with Battlefield, much more fun.

I started playing Warhammer Space Marine 2, and WOW! It's basically Gears of War with bigger armour, bigger guns, bigger enemies, bigger everything, and looks absolutely stunning... oh! and then I played some Stardew Valley on my Switch to wind down 😊

Battlefield 6 is my most played game at the minute, the multiplayer doesn't get any better than that, plus with the TopGun DLC coming out in the next few days 👌

Same, Ball x Pit is highly rated and addictive too. I actually bought the game, and they've been releasing free DLC too along the way, so that's worth supporting.

This game was made for Switch, it's like Geometry Wars 2 on Acid, absolute banger of a game.
These are the games that go under the radar sometimes, but deserve more recognition.

Art style on this is superb, it arks back to the pixelated Amiga days when gaming was at one of its peaks. I'm playing on the Switch, it really is a gem.

I'm hooked on Planet Crafter at the moment, it's like No Mans Sky Lite. I tried Palworld for an hour, but not sure I'II stick with it.

I was expecting to read comments about jittery performance on xbox regards gameplay etc, but all I see is "smoother cutscenes".

I wasn't on, so no idea if I was affected.
Go Go Town on Switch has its hooks into me at the minute.

I think that list is pretty decent to be honest, but then it depends what you like to play.

@ThatRacinGuy198 Yes, that's the one. I still love to watch replays on Youtube of that game, it was stunning.
I was addicted to making the challenges and sending them out, then watching the leaderboard fill with the attempts of rival clubs, brilliant game 😊

@InterceptorAlpha I've only asked you one thing, whether you've played the game... the rest are just my opinions.

@InterceptorAlpha Have you actually played the game? I'm pretty sure there are closed weapon modes and destruction is far from lackluster in my opinion.

@InterceptorAlpha Nah! I don't agree at all. BF6 is pure Battlefield and doesn't resemble COD in anyway what-so-ever. If they were really looking to attract the COD players, they would've added over the top skins and annoying characters.
Also, BF6 technically still does have classes, even though they can use each others weapons, they still have their own gadgets and traits. Recon using a sniper for example, has increased breath-holding duration and the ability to spot the enemy at further distances. But if an Assault player uses a sniper, they wouldn’t get that same benefit.

I purchased The Crew Motorfest earlier... dropped from £70 down to £14.99 so will get into that later. I've been playing Batman Arkham Knight and BF6.

Loved this game. How-ever... despite the terrible launch, DriveClub remains my favourite racing game of all time.
