Mine has a tendency to crash as well. I also run into a problem where the daily get an achievement 50 point reward won't redeem. Last month I had an issue with the EA Play punch card not recognizing the achievements I got in NHL 94 which is an EA Play game. It did finally work when I got some in Battlefront 2 a few days before it expired.
@GamingFan4Lyf, the rarity of the achievement only has to do with the amount of people who have played that game that have unlocked that achievement. It's not necessarily hard to unlock, just hasn't been unlocked by many players. If less than 10% of the players unlocked the achievement, it's labeled as rare.
Yeah, there was an achievement in Madden 06, a launch title for Xbox 360, where all you had to do was click the right thumbstick in the menu to open a different menu. There was also the achievement in the Simpsons game to press the start button to begin the game.
Are you sure that Star Wars: Squadrons doesn't support Smart Delivery? I have the physical version from launch installed on my Series X and it has the X|S logo on the game tile.
*edit: Just checked the product listing on the Microsoft Store, and it has the Smart Delivery badge next to the Optimized for Series X|S badge.
It has to be 50 Cent Bulletproof for the OG Xbox for me. The controls were just terrible. In contrast 50 Cent Blood on the Sand for 360 was actually a pretty fun game with an absolutely absurd story. All time worst video game I've ever played goes to E.T. for the Atari 2600. Yes, I still own a copy of it. I remember buying it at a flea market when I was a kid.
While yes, I did experience some issues with the NXOE, nothing that I experienced caused me to not be able to use my system. I did not experience an issue with physical disc based games, and when I would get dropped from a party I would just as easily re-join it. I like the fact that the avatar prop they gave us was Ninja Cat.
If I'm paying $250 on a collector's edition of a game, I better be getting a physical copy of it. As a collector it makes me not want to get it. It's baffling.
I'm rather happy with my Live subscription. I've had it for over 10 years and it's been the better service, way more reliable than the competition. I'm happy with the indie titles that they have given out for the X1. Sony has also only been giving out indie titles for the PS4 with the exception of Injustice this month. Microsoft will never win with the gamers that believe that they are entitled to everything because they purchased a specific product.
I'm happy with Grin and their game Woolfe and also Red Thread Games with Dreamfall Chapters. Woolfe looks amazing, and I'm a big fan of the Dreamfall series. Thank you for this awesome contest. Abyss Odyssey Stick It To The Man
If the controller still works while not plugged in via the USB cable, then the play and charge battery fixed the issue. If not, then any USB micro cable will work, you don't even need any batteries in the controller. This is because when the controller is connected via USB, the controller turns into a wired controller with all the signals going thru the cable, unlike the 360 when it only charged the batteries. It's one of the new features of the controller. Hope this explains why connecting it via USB fixes the issue.
@DRL Yeah, I think I'm just going to get it anyway. The gameplay videos I've seen don't seem bad, but the reviews have been terrible. I did see today that there's going to be a gameplay patch for the game for launch.
This is one of the launch downloadable titles I was looking forward to, but I'm not sure if I should get it or not. I may have to download the demo before I buy it.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not worried about backwards compatibility. At the same time, I don't get rid of my systems when I move to the next generation. Also, don't forget the 360's backwards compatibility was thru software emulation so it is quite possible for it to be present in some form or other.

Re: Thought The Kinect Was Dead? It's Getting Another Game In 2021
Yeah, I'm disappointed that the Series X doesn't support it. I have to pull out the OG Xbox One just to play Dance Central Spotlight.

Re: Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Coming March 11th
I have the original, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'll probably upgrade to the Definitive Edition if the price is right.

It's not a ginger cat; it's Ninja Cat. It's half of Microsoft's unofficial mascot. Too bad he's not riding his unicorn or t-rex.
Re: Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries Cancelled as Developer Declares Bankruptcy
I really do hope that someone swoops in and saves the day. I thought it was enjoyable on PC and was looking forward to playing it on the Xbox One.

I don't like that it has a digital copy of the game. Why doesn't have the disc?
Re: Child Spends $4.5K in Microtransactions, Parent Wants to Sue Microsoft
If you're going to sue anyone, shouldn't EA, the maker of the game, be the one charged?

I would definitely get this if it was the original rangers with Tommy, green or white, either would work.
Re: EA Ditching Kinect Support for Next Harry Potter Video Game
The Harry Potter games aren't very good to begin with, they are movie tie-ins after all.
