@Elbow I agree, and the fact that it wasn’t immediately identifiable as a COD game made it even worse imho.

I was like “oh this looks interesting… nevermind it’s another COD” 😂

I’m not a fan of Soulslike games because of the crushing difficulty, and I also don’t expect them to cater to me.

That being said, the developers choosing to add in easier difficulty options takes nothing away from the original experience. You can still play at the original difficulty level if you so choose.

I think it’s safe to say everything is coming to PS5 and (probably) the Nintendo Switch 2 at this point.

@Sifi Not sure the closures of London and Tango are comparable considering London’s output over the past 20 years has been casual, VR, and EyeToy games whereas Tango’s output consisted of four good to awesome AAA titles.

@ZuneTattooGuy nowhere did I say Team Ninja was owned by Sony. What I’m saying is there are only 1st party and 3rd party published games. Second party is a term made up by gamers and none of the three major platform holders would refer to a game as “second party” just because an external studio developed it.

Games like Heavy Rain, Until Dawn, and Detroit l: Become Human we’re/are considered 1st party PS games because they were published by Sony even though they were made by external development teams.

The way I see it— in the current situation where Xbox is clearly in third place, did they (MS) really need to give consumers another reason (as small as it may be) to choose a PS5 over an Xbox console?

I hope they will be direct and forthcoming whatever the news is; their fans deserve transparency.

And I’m saying this as someone that has never owned an Xbox console.

Whatever the announcement is, MS has caused damage to the Xbox brand by letting the rumors and speculation run wild, as well as leaving their diehard supporters in the dark for a week.

This is a fire that MS should have put out yesterday. Whether or not they are putting games on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, they are essentially letting the rumors run wild.

I’m a longtime PS fan, so none of this stands to affect me in the short term, but I don’t want to see Xbox go away bc we need competition in this industry.

Exactly. To me, a 7/10 was always considered a good game.

Also, if The Evil Within 3 is announced, along with a Prey sequel, and Starfield turns out to be a banger, I would definitely consider getting an XSX.
