@Martsmall To be honest, I thought the Series X would be an investment purely for the Bethesda games somewhere down the line. I didn't even like the Xbox controller at first but my opinion on the whole situation has been turned around.

I was certainly never an Xbox hater, but I missed out on the 360 generation while I was at University which I know was a big attraction for most, and when I eventually got back into gaming it was the Switch that did it, followed by the PS4. I am 100% on board with Xbox now though, I really can't speak highly enough of the Series X.

I was part of the Amazon sales numbers, and I'm absolutely delighted with the purchase. I got my PS5 on release date and I have put in a LOT of hours, but the value I've gotten out of Gamepass in the short few weeks since I got the Series X is just insane.

I've completed the Halo Infinite campaign, bashed the multiplayer, spent countless hours in Horizon, had a load of sessions on Back4Blood with my mates - something we have never done on any other game or console. I'm halfway through Psychonauts, and just getting into Mass Effect which I would literally have bought for £50 on PS5 if I hadn't managed to get a Series X. There's much more too but these are the highlights for the minute. All this has cost me £11 so far.

It is the best deal in gaming, by a mile.

Thought Outer Wilds was already on there! Regardless, I played it through on PlayStation and it instantly shot into my all time top ten. Try it out!

@FriendlyOctopus The review on this site seemed to well justify this reviewer's score in my opinion. You'd rather they just gave it a 10/10 because they knew that's what you wanted them to do?

I got my Xbox for Halo 2. It was epic

I held off on playing this any further (after the first hour gave me a crash and multiple bugs) and honestly I really want to be excited about it again. I so much want the game they promised!

Microsoft Teams and the immovable yellow "Away" icon is the bane of my life.

That was the best thing I’ve seen today. Impossible not to smile watching that!

UI looks good, everything seems really speedy which is nice to see. Dirt looks rotten though, why on earth did they choose that game to show off.

Really visually boring here in terms of colour. Hope there's more to the game in this respect than varying shades of brown and red.
