I'm good until May. I'll use that time to buy some of the games on GP I'd like to keep when they go on sale.. There's a few GwG games I have that are not available anymore that I've yet to play, so I'll work through those until May. I havr a backlog of well over 200 games, and as little I I get to play, I'm good for a while.
@HeavyHoggJP You need to logon to whatever device is handing out IP addresses to you network. That is usually your wireless router or the modem supplied by your ISP. You'll want to change the DNS servers to 94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15. You also should check the DHCP settings to see if you can specify DNS servers there.

A great solution to this is to use Ad-Guard DNS service. It blocks ads, trackers, malicious sites, etc. at the DNS level, so an extension is not needed for ad blocking. I have my DCHP server on my wireless router handing these DNS addresses out, so all of my devices are benefitting from this. To originally test it, I loaded up a browser with no extensions and hit several site known to be full of ads. It works very well. I even changed my DNS servers on my Samsung phone to use these DNS servers and have had no issues.
I was interested until I found out Sweet Baby was involved. And in one of the videos for the game mentioned that it was Indiana Jones "for modern audiences" which indicates there's probably a pretty heavy DEI push in the game. I'll wait and see.
I still think if they go all digital on the consoles that they will release an external optical drive as an accessory. There are quite a few BC games that aren't available digitally. The external drive would fix that issue on the all-digital consoles, while still allowing those BC game to be played by those who wish to. albeit for extra money. MS filed a patent for this about 2 years ago. https://gamerant.com/microsoft-patent-xbox-physical.../
@Romans12 - the recent 1.8 update for Series X/S has really made the game much better, correcting all of the issues that gave it such a bad reputation when it launched. They had a whole new dev team come in and fix everything.

Re: Halo Is Quietly Having A Resurgence Right Now, And There's A Lot More To Come
There's been a resurgence of the original Xbox games as well, now that Halo 2 works on Insignia.

Re: Xbox's Perfect Dark Reboot Returns With An Awesome Gameplay Trailer
Looks like Sweet Baby got ahold of Joanna. CD probably had something to do with it as well. They're doing the same thing with Lara Croft.
Re: Which Activision Blizzard Game Do You Want Next On Xbox Game Pass?
Metal Arms: Glitch In The System. (I'm pretty sure ABK has the rights for this game now.)

Re: Feature: 40+ Xbox Series X|S Games To Look Forward To In 2024
I'm looking forward to the Dark Forces Remaster just as much as the TR Remasters. Surprised it wasn't mentioned in the article.

Re: Deals: All Classic Xbox Games In This Week's Sales (August 10-17)
@FraserG - I don't think that Prince Of Persia or Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time are backwards compatible. I only see Forgotten Sands on the BC list.
